there is a 3day period you need to wait at your first deposit/exchange on their site after that all the transaction will be instant but the fee is high

As you are newbie no one can risk with paypal with 100$ as they can be reversed. Better try virwox they charge 20% or some to exchange paypal to bitcoins. But you account must be verified.
