I have been looking around lately to find reliable Blockchain education programs.  Although I found a few they are generally expensive and I would like to see if anyone else has taken courses before and can recommend a program.  I would like to learn everything from the basic architecture to high level development because I hope to get a job in the field down the road

Can anyone help me?!? Huh Huh Huh

I guess it depends on how deep you want to go. There are free courses like this out there - https://www.coursera.org/course/bitcointech but I dunno how obvious a lot of it might sound to you.

Are you looking for a formal qualification? If so I'm not sure if there's all that much out there. I think the university of Cyprus were offering a digital currency masters but haven't heard much since it popped up a while ago.

There's also this but don't have the slightest clue who they are or what it means - https://cryptoconsortium.org/certifications/CBX

Hey Thanks gentlemand!   Have you taken any of these courses or know anyone who has?

Besides the coursera one, I don't think there are many courses about Bitcoin or blockchain technology. I suggest that you self learn a lot of this. Some good places to start are with the Bitcoin whitepaper and the bitcoin wiki, specifically the technical section.

There's also a free introductory MOOC at the University of Nicosia, Introduction to Digial Currencies.

Does anyone else have input?? I the lack of education may put handcuffs on the blockchain industry restraining it from reaching its full potential in the next five years.

There MUST be more education outlets or certification firms?!?!?!

Another vote for the free princeton course https://www.coursera.org/course/bitcointech

I'm in and and am enjoying it.  You can download the video lectures and readings to learn at your own pace.

It's still exceedingly early days. Most people have learnt while fiddling around in their own time. If you get those skills up and running maybe you'll have a hand in defining how others learn about it in the future.

The more deep this technology gets, the more amazing and complicated it becomes.

First it was only a whitepaper, now you have entire courses in universities about it. It's amazing, and I`m only a 2 year old member (1 if i discount the pause I took)
