Comparing the current force situation i would say NATO and USA. But nuclear war never happened before, so who knows?
Same here. Russia is not as powerful as it was in the 1980s. China also has lost its significance, due to its ageing population. |

But I think that all this discussion about "war" are just manipulation strategy for the public.
It seems that terrorism is not enough, so politicians try to scare people with nuclear treathening.

But I think that all this discussion about "war" are just manipulation strategy for the public.
It seems that terrorism is not enough, so politicians try to scare people with nuclear treathening.
I am not sure whether the WW3 will see the usage of nuclear weapons. The situation now is different from what we had in 1945. During the WW2, the Americans were able to nuke Japan because they were the only nation which professed that type of weapons then. But times have changed. Now at least a dozen nations have nuclear weapons in their arsenal. |

And that would pretty much spell the end for most of us. Even if only half of those nations use nukes, the effects would be felt all over the world. Let's hope that doesn't happen |

I think that WWIII will be won by coachroches. They are very well equipped against radioactivity, can live in extreme conditions, will survive for sure. Many other insects shouldnjoin the club of the survivors.

That's right, you can't win a nuclear war. Multiple nuclear blasts would probably disrupt Earth's orbit and climate. We'd be killing ourselves over nothing, a piece of paper saying this side gave up first.
