We are 4 guys that need some help from the community to represent Bitcoin in an upcoming open-source software event in the capital of Greece, Athens.
In detail:
[FOSSCOMM] (Free and Open Source Software Communities) (
http://fosscomm.teiath.gr/)
is the annual meeting of Greek FOSS Communities. Every year we meet, share our knowledge, news regarding our favourite projects, run a lot of sessions and of course workshops. This year the event will be held November the 6th till the 8th, in Athens, and the estimated attendance is 500 people. This will be the first time that the Greek Bitcoin community will be present in such a conference, and conduct outreach.
Unfortunatelly the Greek Bitcoin commuity is very small, and we don’t have any Local Bitcoin Embassies or Associations to help our cause and support us. Experienced people from the Greek community will give 2 talks, one about the technology that backs Bitcoin, and one for the progress and growth of the community so far.
We also want to hold a huge booth, and although we will cover some expenses from our own pocket, we still need your help to make this a success. With the money we raise, we will buy promotional material that we think are essential for our booth, like Bitcoin stickers, informative flyers about Bitcoin in Greek, and others
These are our [expenses](

If we manage to gather the necessary expenses and organize a booth full of promotional material with your help, we believe that it will be a huge boost for more people to understand the true value of the extraordinary bitcoin technology.
Thank you all
