https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=86765.0

Okay so I had a thread posted here before and I was aking if bumping an old thread is ok. I got few responses and they said it's ok if the poat is constructive and depends on why the user poated on the old thread.

So I had noticed this one. So is the post will be considered as ok or a spam. The thread was created on 2012.

Up to mods to decide. Would better if he send a direct message to the OP or started a new topic and refer it to the old one.

Anyway here is another one just in meta

Honestly, I do not support this (but it does not mean that I do anything about it; read next part). This is due to the fact that it will attract a lot of signature spam that it did not had previously. However, it tends to be okay. If you have a question to ask or have something constructive to add to that subject, it is better than opening another thread about the same thing. Just make it so that it doesn't look like a useless(spam) necro post. Then your post shall not be deleted.

I umderstand what you mean, well I am referring to those useless posts that doesn't even make sense at all, they'd just bump a very old thread just like the guy di which is an obvious spam. And oh btw,  I noticed the posts in that thread got deleted already.

They're usually deleted once someone reports them and/or one of the moderator sees them.

Well useless necro bumps would probably be deleted right away as long as a mod or someone elae reports it. Also, bumps should be deleted before posting a new bump so as to avoid redundancy and spam in a thread.
