The Beretta 92 series is a solid gun.  I enjoy mine it is a nice addition to a collection.  I think the MSRP is a tad high don't think you will find anyone selling for that.

But great gun that is for sure.

Seems they can be had for $700-$750 shipped new

I found two used ones on gunbroker that sold:
1) sold mid august for $585 shipped w/ 1x 15rd mag, box, manuals
2) sold mid july for $553 shipped w/2x 15rd mags, box, manuals

if you have 2 mags, with all accessories, good condition, probably right around the $600-625 mark is golden

Mine is pretty much brand new. It didn't receive much use. I have a Beretta M9 and CZ 75s. I don't need this Vertec model because I honestly will never mount anything on the rail (like a flash light or laser.)  So $690 (that includes shipping) is a fantastic start. I am not interested in selling to the poor and desperate anyway...

The 92FS is a solid handgun indeed! It's military standard issue (modeled as M9). Very very very reliable and simple.

I will post some pictures tonight. The stainless looks fantastic. Defiantly what you want with your main gun!

The process of selling guns is simple. I will mail it to your preferred FFL dealer and once they receive it you visit, fill out some paperwork, they run a check, and you may get your gun on the same day or be delayed 3 days. Sometimes people are delayed for whatever reason but most clear after 3 days.  There is also a FFL transfer fee and that depends on the FFL dealer. Could range anywhere from $20-40. FFL dealers usually be found around local gun shops.

OOHHH Also I have 3 spare magazines I'd like to sell too. They MSRP for $35 but I'll sell them for $25 a pop

Yeah 92s are a fine gun, I own two, was just trying to get you an idea what to ask for..

I would take it to either a firearm forum, armslist, or gunbroker to get what you want out of it..

Actually a few guns sell here.  It does not happen to often, but there is a following that purchase.

As far as price no where will be that 900.  I have a feeling price will have to be dropped to re-sell.   But I'm not taking away from the 92 series they are great guns and pretty popular.

See... bitcointalk can look just like a gun forum.   I think it's worth mentioning it's not all about the caliber.  You get some nice defense rounds it makes a world of difference on what bullet does.

I personally like being able to shoot a decent grouping which the 92 series does for me.   I can see both sides of the argument.

I own some 9MM and they are nice to shoot (cheap ammo is a huge bonus). I am actually going to buy either a 460VXR or the Raging Judge...not sure which yet!

That is the truth some ammo you can go broke shooting... but it is a lot of fun.   My Spikes Tactical pistol is the one that runs me up in ammo.  30 Rounds goes pretty darn quick.

I bought a big box of green tips to shoot...... i need to find some thick metal to play with it.  I have been waiting for a fun occasion to play with it.

I use Hornady Critical Duty ammunition. Passes FBI protocol. Very reliable and deadly bullets.  Pretty much the best bullets you can buy. Sell for $1/bullet and are defiantly worth it to keep one or two full clips with. Just to be used in that rare moment you have to pull the trigger!

9mm ammo isn't that cheap. For cheap I have a SR-22. Shoots .22s. Cheap ass ammo! Fun gun to shoot too! I highly recommend it. 500 rounds for $35. 500 of 9mms costs me $140!

I am assuming you are offering a private party transfer through a licensed gun dealer, right?  At least here in Kalifornia you cannot sell any firearm without using a dealer unless it's an antique.

I carry a S&W M&P 40c when I'm out in the desert.  Cool

Yes they are called FFL dealers. I mentioned this above. Read it.

Ask nicely...

I didn't see it in the OP, so thought I would ask.  I did find it a couple posts down, but it would be more appropriate to put that info up top for people like me who browse for sale posts by the top post only.  GL with the sale.
