Cfb told me I needed to reach out to David with my seed+address which I did, but haven't heard back from him yet (I have an address that was generated with the old address generator).

Is this still manual or can the new client take care of this for me? Is there a deadline for when this needs to be sorted out by?

The deadline is July 17th (I may be off by a couple of days now that I think about it. Not sure exactly on the date, but it's definitely middle of July), so there's still a month and a half left. The IOTA Foundation seems to be fully focused on the project right now, but I'm sure they'll get back to you once this hectic period is done. Be sure to check on the status of your claim in the IOTA slack at least once a week to make sure things get sorted out by July.

They just put out version 2.2.3 yesterday, and I reinstalled, synched, etc to get the latest tangle up and running, balances verified,.etc, and today you are telling us that we have to do this again for 2.2.4  wallet ?

Is the 2.2.4 wallet update only for those who have not claimed?

Is it ok to continue to use 2.2.3 or is 2.2.4 another mandatory upgrade like 2.2.3 was?

I just installed 2.2.4 over 2.2.3 and everything was fine. The update is mandatory, your transactions won't confirm if you keep using 2.2.3.

don't worry, David said that every claim will be processed no matter the deadline.

edit: I mean every claim done before the deadline will be processed even if it's after the deadline. But claim done after the deadline will not be processed.

As for me, capitalization is very overstated. I do not think that a crude project can have such a real capitalization.

OKAY, but just because all the BTC's needs ten weeks to be sent to the exchanges because blockchains suck.
but they have 88 Billion in market cap, so is it a logical assumption that the new, better, faster technology will struggle to hold 400 million cap or what...  Cheesy

Hello friend.  I presently have the Light Wallet v2.1.1.   Do I have to delete the database to convert to GUI Wallet v2.2.4?  Thank you.
