I guess you don't?  Also I'm not sure of the difference but I purchased them through my school for the discount.  AFAIK they are the same as retail copies.

my reputation as nazgulnarsil straddles lots of communities where I have a history (lesswrong, hacker news, and my personal blog most notably). If the key wasnt useful to you we could swap back.
