hello guys as the subject says itself ,we all know how many scams take place in crypto world and majority in bitcoins, I am not talking about the low quality scams on our forum which we solve by rewarding negative trust ...lol.

but seriously why is police avoiding loans defaulted on lending websites and other ponzi scam schemes like scrypt.cc, cloudminr.io and etc...
even while exchanging , on chargebacks  they are not being responsible for bitcoins and likely to return the fiat to the scammer.

Bitcoin is entirely private. In private business that is not corporate, and especially if it is not complex, government doesn't have authority until they are the ones who are hurt.

Anyone who has a claim needs to bring it against the scammer.

Get in the habit of using a third party, independent escrow agent for your Bitcoin transactions.

I really don't understand why government does not intervene to ponzi scheme's legality.
Lots of people go into them buying their "let's get rich together" idea and stay hopeless.

It depends from the countries..some 3rd world doesn't care at all about the scams made against a foreign users (sometimes against its citizens...)
But in the U.S/EU if someone open an inquiry against a specific person then I think this will lead to an arrest.

even if the government is involved these scams and other shady things are killing the currency ,its a baseless accusation.

ponzi's schemes will eventually collapse with time but its the scams which are scary.

Do you really want the government to be involved in micro-transactions of Bitcoin? It would be low on their list of priorities.
In case of large frauds (like Mt Gox), they do get involved.

I think that people using bitcoins should just be aware and have no trust for anybody else. Micro transaction scams happen all the time with paypal users as well.
