Rule #1 (or even #0!) of customer service:
The customer is king.The case in point sounds like petty footstomping and displays the kind of attitude more commonly seen from stark monopolies (government or otherwise) than a private business.
There might not (yet?) be as many
BTC exchange options as we'd like, but the business is not monopolistic, even with Mt Gox coming close.
