I am thinking of creating an email list of subscribers using GetResponse where people will be asked to subscribe and after that do a 30-minute of surfing my website *everyday*. If I get several thousand of subscribers and daily surfers to my website daily, then I will create a lottery and pay X number of random people with $50 or $100 cash everyday. Do you think that this idea will be a success ? Do you think that I will get enough number of subscribers ? PLEASE TAKE THE ABOVE POLL, I WILL GIVE YOU A BTC-CANDY. What would you consider a success? A high number of bots that subscribe to your list? Because thats whats going to happen. |

What would you consider a success? A high number of bots that subscribe to your list? Because thats whats going to happen. GetResponse won't allow automated bots to subscribe and my site is not browsable by automated bots. So do you mean that my idea is appealing enough ? |

You know that most advertising companies ban the accounts ,and those who incentive users to click or watch that looks what you offering here,a return to some lucky person. |

it was done several tiem in the past, and it faded away quickly, some of those i think are rigged in some way, maybe the owener is running alt or bot to have better chance to wint he prize himself

Most lottery services I have seen, has no confirmed anti-cheat mechanism to prevent the owner from cheating. These sites start out by being honest and you see a couple of winners and then the owner gets greedy and start to rig the games. If you can find a way to make the lottery draws cheat-free, you might get a lot of subscribers. There are just too many people who do not trust lottery systems, because there were so many rigged games before.  |

this kind of lottery will not be a really good thing.
unless it contains a high security, or good standing, otherwise we won't know if it would be a success.
lottery database is hard to form, mate.

out of ability to use the signature, i want a new ban strike policy that will fade the strike after 90~120 days of the ban and not to be traced back, like google | email me for anything urgent, message will possibly not be instantly responded

What do you mean success? do you mean making a lottery website that you can huge of money by using your fake lottery numbers then you will cheat to because your the owner you can easily put your own lottery numbers?.
I think if you making a lottery website make sure you are registered to pcso or international lottery. before making your own website.... with you personal imformation...
Making owner of lottery is not easy because you need more security and function anti bot or any against the cheat.. I think no one can be success in lottery... maybe if its giveaway...

It could be a success in the long run but you need to improve on a lot of terms before starting this kind of lottery
1) Decrease the 30 minute time to at least 10 minutes or even 5 minutes would be better
2) Add stuff so it would be worth while for the surfers to surf on the website for that long
3) Hire someone to do the following: a) Checks each IP as there are tools to find which one is trying to use a program into being from another proxy
b) Some sort of escrow that your not associated with so there will be a transparency of your lottery
C) Someone to make sure you won't turn out to cheat yourself would be a big plus

People will develop page crawler scripts to get around this, acting like real clickers.
As for payout, it should probably be coupled to a certain block and predetermined values (public) beforehand to determine a publically verifiable winner.

Well those looks like faucet and not lottery since we would need to see some page for 30 seconds,this happen with faucet where you can win 0.007 or above it im out of faucets but i know there is some big faucets with such reward from claim soo is lottery .

i doubt that it might be successful as people are not too interested in real life lotteries nowadays so with bitcoins they wouldnt play it either

There have been several Bitcoin lottery projects. Some were better, some were worse, but so far, none of them managed to be popular enough to survive.
Idea is not bad but probably it is too early to make it succeed.

It sounds like a good idea, but have in mind taht the ultimate incentive for someone to keep visiting a webpage is that the person enjoys the content. The idea of doing this for a small chance of winning 50-100 dollars may not be enough without the good content.
