How BARR check the "proof-of-burn"  - btw: nice concept.

To burn coins for BARR, first you make sure your altcoin is accepted during the current exchange period.  November 1 to November 30 we are accepting Fractalcoin at .5 BARR, Keycoin at .5 BARR, and Sapience at .75 BARR.

Before you burn your coins, send us a private message here and tell us which coin you're burning, how many coins, and your NXT address.

After you send your coins to the burn address, send us another private message with the transaction id.  We will verify it on the blockchain, and then send your BARR to your NXT address.

We will keep all transaction IDs in a downloadable spreadsheet so that anyone can verify them.

Thanks for participating in our launch.  Hopefully it will be just as successful as when we burn BITZ.

As anyone can see, there is a larger buy order at 4990.  If we put our buywall at 5000, then nobody else will be able to buy for 5000.  We're allowing other people to buy at the target price, because burning these coins is the only way they can get BARR.

Fractalcoin wallet now rescanning.  I sent 2 smaller transactions, but then I broke it by sending one too big. 

The fact that these things barely work is an excellent example of why we're doing this project.

Alright, it's after midnight and I've been trying to send 3 transactions for over an hour.  

It's ridiculous - and all three of these coins are in the top 225 coins at CoinMarketCap.  These are supposedly among the top coins, and they don't even work properly.  See what we've been talking about?  There is no chance that they could survive long-term like this.

The Fractalcoin wallet rescanned and is now empty, but Sapience and Keycoin are also being stubborn.  They take 5 minutes just to right-click and "copy transaction ID".

I would have given up and gone to bed already, but I'm encouraged by the idea of never having to use these wallets again.  Actually I'm leaving in a little KEY and XAI until the end of the month, so they can continue staking and processing transactions.  We wouldn't want the network to completely fail before we're done sending our coins.  But after that, I'll never have to use these wallets again.

Hi, runpaint here.  It'll be me on this account of course some of the time, or one of our other team members processing the transactions.  The person otherwise known as "BARR_Official" doesn't have another bitcointalk account and mainly does our data entry.  Just wanted to clear that up, since it may sometimes appear that I'm talking to myself between these two accounts.

Good morning everyone (or afternoon).  

As of now we are still successfully maintaining our target prices of 5000 satoshis for Fractalcoin, 5000 for Keycoin, and 7500 for Sapience at Cryptsy, Polo, and Trex.

Some Sapience was dumped well below our target last night (only at Bittrex), but we have brought the price back up.  It will probably drop again if we don't get more people buying, but again it will be temporary.  

We have already burned 43% of all existing Sapience coins, which is about $7,000 worth of the $16,000 marketcap.  We're making progress on Keycoin and Fractalcoin as well, with almost 20% of each already burned, which means we've exchanged about $12,000 worth of coins for BARR.

I'm transferring some to the Market Fund that was earned with some burned KEY and FRAC, and we'll go ahead and sell some.

(When the Market Fund sells BARR for NXT, it uses the NXT to buy more BARR.  When it buys BARR, it sells it for more NXT, etc.)

If the coin is working and people who hold the coin want to burn it, then it's still a possibility.  Of course if it doesn't seem like many holders would be interested, then we probably won't offer it for exchange.
