President Obama’s decision to veto a $612 billion defense spending bill sets the stage for a fight that could force Congress to put an end to an era of fiscal mismanagement. It is a battle the president, who has vetoed only four other bills, may lose. But it’s one well worth fighting.

Cost is too high when you think about terrorism over USA. I may call it pseudo-terrorism.
Obama is probably right and I expect lots of other politicians to follow this way to cut unnecessary expenses.

A defense bill of $612 billion is not sustainable when the federal debt is fast approaching the $20 trillion mark (almost 120% of the GDP). The Americans need to cut back their wasteful spending, even if it means that they will have to refrain from invading a few third world countries for the purpose of "forced regime change".

How will this country fair after another year of the Obama admin. Not only that but how much more to the nat`l debt will the Obamas add on top of their 61 million for vacations, golf outtings and fundraisers they already spent!

As far as Obama is concerned he can send our troops off to protect the USA, there allies, but, he can't provide the equipment and salaries they deserve. Its time to over ride his veto and support our fighting men and women, either they support our troops or we do not reelect a Democrats or Republicans unless he/she can show they voted to over turn Obama's Veto.

He probably denied it because there was not enough money going into his personal interests. He will probably approve the next bill, just watch.
