How do you know if someone if abusing your faucet and how to block them?

I just started a Faucetbox faucet about a month ago and I think I'm getting drained pretty quickly because of the abuse.

well I really not good at editing things but I think add some lines of codes collect the IP when they click button "claim" and write it to a file where you can read who use your faucet then find out the most suspicious one and use hosting to block the IP (I'm not a coder so I'm not really good at this program thing). On the other, when you are using faucetbox I remember my faucet being automatically added to their rotator which made it drain really fast (I don't remember exactly if it was automatically added so check if it is added)

Well this one isn't on faucetbox so I assume it's just being targeted by bots or spam.
Thanks for the ideas

i would add a proxychecker for ip, if they are using a notorious vpn or something that check the ip that abuse via whois

you can deal with bots with simple captcha a guess, unless they run sofisticate software like captcha killer or something or use 2captcha...

Is doing all of this worth of trouble just to collect some dust? I don't get it. Who knows how to do all of this will be able to make more money doing something else than screwing up faucets.

I mean just to change my IP with VPN after every time I collect some dust seems very time consuming!

How do you know if someone if abusing your faucet and how to block them?

I just started a Faucetbox faucet about a month ago and I think I'm getting drained pretty quickly because of the abuse.

Yes. Probably you are being scammed and botted. The FaucetBox default security is not enough to stop abusers.

Well this one isn't on faucetbox so I assume it's just being targeted by bots or spam.
Thanks for the ideas

Check this out bro. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1211353.0
I don't know if this works but it's to prevent users to cheat.

Take a look on this topic too: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1200700.0

You can learn how to protect yourself better.

Track IPs and also employ the use of recactpcha.

https://www.google.com/recaptcha

You should use FunCaptcha. Their system is more secure.

Well, without registration and verification of user identification you can not prevent faucet abuse. There are some mechanisms you can use like, IP check, browser check, operating system check or use a fingerprinting library like https://github.com/Valve/fingerprintjs

I desagree.

I'm preventing a lot of abusers using a protection system that I developed by mysself. It consists in a multi-layer protection against TOR users, scam/spam/bot address and VPN/Proxy Servers access.

I am getting good results.
