Is bitcoin actually the favored currency of terrorists? You may possibly consider so from reading some of the mainstream media headlines. But a latest intergovernmental examine on terrorist financing paints a extremely distinct picture.

Whenever I see articles which describes bitcoin as 'currency of terrorist and evildoers' I want to smash something. How logical is this really that bitcoin is so evil?
From the other side FIAT is currency of law abiding citizens? People seems to be blinded by political correctness to the point that simple logical thinking is hard for them.

So yeah... The terrorists are using USD to buy guns, should we ban it? Or maybe they are using gold, opuim and oil? What is the difference anyway?

No credible proof has been presented so far by the Western governments to link Bitcoin to terrorism funding. There have been some isolated incidents trying to use Bitcoin for this purpose, but the terrorist organizations themselves seems to be not much interested. They are having much better options, such as the Russian-based Qiwi Wallet.

if this is related about how many money they spend for "his cause", bitcoin vs fiat, then NO, and if they are trying to tell us that bitcoin is bad because terrorists are using it for "his cause", then why they dont think the same about fiat money? or gold?

They also want to ban all diamonds and gold exchange, because these nations use that as a primary method to pay for terrorism activities. ^joking^
