Good for Boston to keep in step with their rivals even after losing Gordon Hayward early in the game, and possibly for the rest of the season. That injury might even be a blessing in disguise for the young guys to play more minutes and become better players. That is a terrific first game of this year, Gordon Hayward now is off the season. Loss of this player is a big punch to the Boston Celtics, however congrats for both team for a good game. Really a devastating lost for the Boston Celtics. Gordon Hayward's left ankle was broken. I think his season is now over. I pity him and the Celtics who work so hard to brought a good team this year including Kyrie Irving in hopes of getting to the finals or at least has a chance to get to it. I think this is similar to Paul George, but he has already overcome and fully recovered so its not a career threatening injury. Though its needs a lot of rehab and operation which will make him miss the entire season. Hoping though for a speedy recovery.
