Sixers managing to beat Celtics was a shocker, Knicks beating Sixers is also a shocker to me. I did not expected Sixers to lose, Knicks do not look better at all, they even had hard time beating Hawks, so it was expected for Sixers to get the win. In any case, this second round will not be any more clear than the first round, things are getting "I have no idea what's about to happen" levels once more.

At this stage, if somehow, by some miracle, if Lakers defeat OKC and win the series, that would not even be the shocking thing of the day, because shocking things are happening everyday this playoff run. It is not like any other, I used to have easy time predicting who will win what, nowadays this season I have not managed to do that.

I’d like to believe this, but based on the last games both teams have played, it feels like the Lakers really need a miracle here. The line speaks for itself, it is already +15.5, so if they win this one, that would be a major upset.

And of course, bettors who still trust the Lakers will be rewarded with a big return if they somehow pull it off. But for me, I guess I’ll just watch this game and hope it becomes enjoyable, not some one-sided domination by OKC. I won’t be risking money on this game though. If I would bet on anything, maybe I’d rather look at the total instead.

He is not on prime anymore while they are against the top team on the league that rarely choke. James a lot of luck to continue his streak with current ability and teammates to beat a complete OKC roster.

Maybe I will take a handicap with + points with Lakers because they might give a close fight but it’s hard to YOLO bet on Lakers without Luka on the active roster.

At OKC’s home court, that’s a hard spot for the Lakers. And considering the line is that high, I think it is made to attract bettors to still take the Lakers, but in reality, this could be a blowout that we will witness. If the Lakers are going to cover, I think it will be in Game 2, not in the first game of the series. Game 1 should belong to OKC, especially with their home court advantage and how strong they usually start.

Well, it’s still basketball. We will never know if OKC will choke hard.

I don't think what day it is would have any impact on the result of the game, and while I would rule Lakers chances of causing a major upset, I believe the match would be much more demanding than anything they witnessed against Houston Rockets in the first round.

That being said, we all know how dominant the OKC Thunder can be, leaving no stoned unturned and whenever they bully an opponent, they do so completely, I just don't think that's enough reason to have the Lakers as a 16 points underdog in this match... I won't be taking the Lakers to cover the spread, but I might be looking at the Lakers total points, and go over on that.

I would not call it a shock though, since the Sixers are more experienced than the Knicks when it comes to the playoffs, at least in my opinion. And tonight we’ll see Game 1, which should give us some hint about how this series might go.

The Knicks has got a good year last year for the season IIRC.

So, they've got also experience and add to it that KAT is there and this isn't new to him.

But let's see, game 1 is tough for all of these teams.

Injuries ruined the Knicks playoff run last season. And yeah, KAT was a really good addition to the Knicks on that season, which is why they still managed a solid playoff run. It’s just that injuries derailed their momentum same what happened to Indiana Pacers on Finals like maybe Tyrese Hali didn't injured maybe they got the Championship.. That’s why, at the time some players who got injured or whose teams lost were saying that only healthy teams really have a chance to win a championship.

And what they did to the 76ers with their game is amazing.

Whatever happens to the next game of theirs will determine if the Knicks will continue to dominate against the Sixers.

I thought the pistons are pulling away then after a few minutes the lead of the pistons shrink, now again they are leading like 10 points, harden is in foul trouble maybe that is why he is unable to score much, could the cavs be able to comeback in this game or the pistons will prevail in this game 1, the lakers are battling with the OKC they are able to take the lead but OKC were able to take the lead in the end of the first quarter, I just dont like the calls being given to SGA even if it does not touch the player the refs are calling it as a foul, can the league do something about it, or the league making SGA the new face of the nba?

I’m starting to believe this might come true despite they are now down by dozen but still Lebron is unstoppable when attacking the paint and getting offensive rebound. He is a beast even on old age already which is he is older to the OKC coach.

Austin is still finding his sweet spot shot since he is still struggling a lot. He will be a game changer for Laksrs in case he went hot on 4th quarter.

OKC is also struggling with their turnovers. Lakers is having a good job limiting SGA hold the ball.

Pretty much what we have expected in the games between the Lakers and the Thunder.

OKC showing how dominant they can be in the second half of the game. And it was Chet who do the damage and leading the Thunder. It was a low scoring game though, and SA not his usual scoring but still they are going to take game 1 already.

Just a couple of minutes to go as the Thunder is leading in double digits. Unless the Lakers pull out a big comeback, but I highly doubt it.

SGA's record of 20+ points has ended tonight too or not? I saw him scoring just 18 points in this game. We all remember him breaking Wilt's record for consecutive 20 point game with 127!

But it looks like that record is just for regular season and doesn't include playoff? Just bad lost for the Lakers, a game 1 with a double digit. Might be their best chance to steal though as again, SGA is way below his average.

I thought he is just warming up waiting for the last quarter to explode but he is in the real deep shit choking after his injury recovery. Lebron alone can’t carry Lakers anymore against consistent OKC with so many reliable young talent that contributes from the bench.

SGA only have a very low FT and shooting attempts but still they manage beat Lakers with huge gap just because Lakers is also struggling hard with their offense.

An easy sweep I think.

At least Ayton recorded a double-double, while Reaves and Smart played really poorly in this game. Maybe if those two had at least made 40-50% of their shots, the outcome of this game would have been different. It’s just not right when a 41-year-old veteran has to carry the team single-handedly while the young players do nothing. So the Lakers definitely need to work on their mistakes and make some adjustments, or this series could be over after just four games.

Considering Wolves managed to beat Denver, while still having many missing players, and now they have defeated Spurs too, we have to say that there is something oddly working at Wolves, otherwise we are going to be wrong.

I am not saying they will win this series too, they may, they may not, but no matter what happens a team that is missing htis many players still winning against the best teams is a ig deal. Lakers are the same situation, missing Doncic and Reaves and still winning the series.

They really needed Shai in this game, the lakers reaves and Ayton are lost, they don't know what to do, and they are unable to defend even the second unit, they were attacking inside because there were no threat, Ayton need to assert himself in the next game or they will be buried 2-0 in the series reaves needed to stop taking like Steph curry shoot outside, even when he is driving inside he is not looking at the rim anymore, seems he is more of a regular season player, he did not even make to double digits, one of his worse performance, and it needed to be change or else they will be sweep.
