Same here, but I doubt the odds will be high even if Spurs is the underdog. It think the odds will be close to even.

What I think is, if the Spurs can beat OKC, then they will likely win the NBA championship. Because as we can all see, Wemby is just unstoppable. He was in foul trouble in Game 3, but he still managed to survive and even hit big shots in the 4th quarter.

How can you stop a very tall guy who is also very consistent with his outside shooting?
He had 39 points, 15 rebounds, and 5 blocks. That is already MVP-type numbers, and it was even more impressive because of his high shooting percentage, 13 out of 18 from the field.

This is what I’m thinking too. It’s very hard to stop the current tallest guy in the league that moves like a forward when attacking while a very good center on defending on the paint.

He has a lot of rebounds and blocks while he score incredibly including 3point shot. I don’t want to jinx SAS but only injury can stop Wemby but I think he will be stay healthy until the end since he is young and smart on his play.

Lakers are heavily unmatched on this series. OKC is just way too good for them and I believe that even if Doncic returned, this would not be something that would be all that life changing for Lakers, they are not looking like a great team at the moment and I do not think that it will change anytime soon.

I understand that this may look decent for some people, but the reality is that Doncic will not make a chance, OKC is just miles ahead of Lakers and can't really lose this series at all.

The good thing about the situation of the spurs is not only wemby is carrying the team almost everyone is putting points and doing their role unlike other teams that they are looking always at the star to get points, spurs have other options that they can depend on when needed wemby just need to block or at least make the player change their shots,  to get the rebound, and push the ball ahead by the spurs, they are the best match-up for the OKC minus the refs of course seems they really favoring the thunder, are they making the OKC the main team now.

OKC can't guard Wemby, I agree, yes, there is no way. The good thing OKC compared to other teams is that 1-4 switches easily without any issues at all, from PG to PF they can all guard anyone and that creates this amazing defensive scheme and it's hard to score against that. And that is exactly why in all of the teams at NBA, Spurs are the least likely team OKC would want to face.

Not because Spurs overall is good, but because Spurs have one position where they can't switch, and that's Wemby, dude just scored 39 points against Gobert, the most elite rim protector we have in the league, and Wemby wasn't even phased by it, he is fast and agile while being 100 feet tall So yeah, OKC will have trouble without a doubt.

I can agree to that, though Doncic can adds up to their offense but in terms of defense he might be a liable unlike with OKC, everyone on their position can play as 2-way player which both defense and offense really covered, I like how OKC execute their system as they all got taking care whoever will play for the position, let see if how Lakers will adjust since they will play now at home who knows officials will give them a little favorable call that may give them an edge to win.

it's true that the Spurs have been one of the best teams of the season but unfortunately, their playoff experience is close to zero. ok their offense is sharp enough for the postseason but they’re facing a team like OKC that seems almost impossible to beat...

Spurs made it 2-1 last night and I must say Wemby was really amazing in Game 3. For once I thought he was going to make another triple-double with blocks. He finished the game with 39 PTS, 15 REB, 5 BLK.

There is still another game to be played in Minnesota though. Edwards looked really solid in the last game. If he keeps it going and gets more help from the other scorers they might be able to make it 2-2. Dosunmu needs to step up again I guess.

He can step up if Edwards is not demanding the ball too much. Their play in that game was too focused on Edwards, he had 26 attempts, and although he shot around 50%, I still think it would be better if they give others more touches. Especially Dosunmu, since he is also good at attacking the paint. That could put more pressure on Wemby and give them a bigger chance to get him into foul trouble again.

But let’s see how they adjust in Game 4. If they lose that one, I think the series will end in San Antonio for sure.

Anyway, now we have Game 3 of Cavaliers vs Pistons, with the Cavs down 0-2. Cavaliers really need to win this one.
I know there is also a Lakers game, but honestly, winning that one feels almost impossible in my opinion.

Pistons lost but they had the luxury of losing an away game. Cavs won but they didn't play too good. If Pistons win Game 4, they can close the series out at home in Game 5. They didn't play well in the first half, but they got back into the game in the 3rd quarter. In the last quarter, Cunningham's mistakes and Harden's strong play gave Cavs the win.

My prediction was Pistons in 5, this may be the one game they lose. Pistons have won every home game in these play-offs but still haven't won on the road. It's time for them to break that chain and win one on the road. That will make things easier.

Pistons lost but they had the luxury of losing an away game. Cavs won but they didn't play too good. If Pistons win Game 4, they can close the series out at home in Game 5. The Cavs though hasn't lost in their homecourt, just like what they did on the series against the Raptors and now in this game. Yes, finally vintage James Harden has show up in this series with clutch basket after clutch basket.

Things are not looking good for the Lakers. I can’t even watch it anymore. They’re really struggling in the second half and can’t even secure defensive rebounds. If they really lose today, then it’s over. No team in NBA history has ever come back from being down 0-3 in a series. Only four teams have managed to force a Game 7 after trailing 0-3, but none of them finished the comeback. That might be it for the Lakers.

Too bad, just when they needed Luka the most, he got injured. A lot of people are probably disappointed. This could also become the 4th sweep of LeBron James’ career.

Now, I’m hoping that if the Spurs make it to the Conference Finals, they can replicate what they did during the regular season against the OKC.

I don't understand why the Pistons opt for a 3 point after that time out. They could go for easy two and then play good defense after that so that they will have a chance to at least force a OT in game 4.

But perhaps they wanted a 2 in 1 hitting that outside three. But they didn't play good defense but instead just foul Donovan Mitchell. So this series is still alive as compare to the Lakers vs Thunder. It's not just the fans are disappointed to not see Luka in this series. But Luka himself, remember that before his injury he has been putting monster numbers. Things though are beyond 'our' control.

Wemby is a huge talented player, his been playing absolutely fantastic and his obviously carried that into the playoffs, I’m not going to cast doubts on them winning the OKC, because every team is beatable only if you trust yourself and believe in yourself.

That’s what makes the Spurs a strong team that can beat OKC. They utilize all their roster including bench to have a contribution and minutes on the game unlike the traditional team that focus their roster on 1 or 2 superstar while the rest is just there to support their main guy.

Spurs is different because Wemby is doing everything to attack and create a play with his teammates. They also have many good rookie player like Harper and many more that contributing from the bench.

While it is true that Spurs will most probably win this series, OKC is not really "that" much better on paper.

I understand SGA and his foul merchant style will eventually cause some trouble for Spurs, we saw the difference between the first game and second game Lakers had, first game SGA tried to draw foul every single time, and he failed, refs did not all, and OKC almost lost, and on second game they called everything a foul, and SGA did alright and OKC won by a large margin.

The Spurs situation will be different, because they have Wemby and it will be tough to stop him, Chet has no chance.

For what happen in game 3 I would possibly they are going to be swept they can't protect the lead, at the same time they have players who gives up easily if you are playing and gives up the ball so easily every team you will be in will not do fine when there is nothing they can depend on but you.

Looks like they mess up the current lineup of the lakers Kennard loses position and confidence after reaves return he eats his position and percentage of the ball being pass to him, besides reaves did not played well during the games he played in the second round, could they have experiment on not putting reaves in the first five and move him in the second unit?
But no matter what the strategy it seems that the Thunder can still easily defeat the lakers, I'm just curious how will the old line-up that defeated the Rockets match up with the OKC thunder,
The cavs wins finally could they even the series the real question though is can Harden show up in the last few games in the second round?
