I think the Spurs would have won this game if Wembenyama hadn't been ejected at the beginning of the second quarter. Whether it was intentional or not will be decided, and perhaps Wemby will receive a harsher penalty. If he gets a game suspension, the Spurs might struggle against Minnesota. The series is tied 2-2, and the Spurs have home-court advantage.
I expect the Spurs to advance to the next round, but Minnesota has proven they aren't an easy opponent.

Let's be honest, even with him, they had a low chance, just because Doncic is a great player, the difference wouldn't be closed that easy and I would say OKC would still win, it is not like with Doncic they would have suddenly be a favourites, Lakers would have bene still underdogs. But without him?
It became a no contest and OKC had a field day for all three games, not even close games, they dominated them all.
I certainly agree! Even with Lakers it was still looking difficult to win one game against Thunder... The quality gap is just huge about defense and offense both. JJ Redick has also made a similar statement before the series started.
Timberwolves have made it 2-2. This is mostly because of Wemby's ejection of course. He threw an elbow to Reid's throat which led to his ejection. The next game is in San Antonio and I think Spurs will get ahead again. LA coming back from 3-0 is like a dream now, the team really don't have a chance especially how every players plays the likes of reaves Ayton, Even Kennard, It thought they could have get game 3, but after OKC takes the lead they never look back, I don't like how Ayton play from the start of the season until now yes he has the height and a rebounding threat but that show its only on paper, he was expose in games, the rebounding is a mess, he gives up on rebound even in plays, he wants to be a focal point of the offense but can't be relied on defense.

Minnesota tied the series 2-2, beating San Antonio 114-109. The most notable event of the game was Wemby being ejected for elbowing Reid.
Hopefully Wemby doesn't receive any further penalties, as San Antonio needs him for the remaining games.
The first sweep of this round came from New York, who swept Philadelphia 4-0.
Next up is OKC, and they will most likely sweep the Los Angeles Lakers.
if Wemby’s going to pull moves like that he shouldn’t turn around and lecture anyone about ethics or morality afterward. i remember him giving an interview where he claimed we play ethical basketball. that elbow he threw at Naz Reid was one of the dirtiest plays i've seen in years. it was straight out of the Draymond Green playbook. but at least Draymond knows exactly who he is...

Though it's not a done deal yet as there's still a game that they'll going to play, but same with your opinion it's going to be a tough one for Lakers knowing how exposed they are against OKC, up to the second unit of OKC they can still play the same roles, unlike with LA once they let their starters to rest they've been exposed to a missmatch and OKC always find a way to take advantage, In terms of Ayton he needs to adjust to what the system will benefits, he can't be just on their offense but limited on their defense, let see after this series if they still going to keep Ayton or will they'll gonna trade him out.

I believe Wemby would not do that if he wasn’t triggered. There are probably things happening that we didn’t see on camera, pretty sure about that. But still, Wemby should learn from it. He has to be smarter and avoid doing stupid things because he is too important to the team. If they lose this series, that moment will never be forgotten. I think if he was not ejected in that game, there is a huge possibility that the Spurs would already be ahead now.

That was probably the Wolves’ strategy, to piss him off so he would lose his focus. And when he made that mistake, we all saw it clearly. It was obvious enough to deserve an F2 and get thrown out of the game. Hopefully there will be no other penalty aside from what already happened, and he can still play in Game 5. If the Spurs are really that good, this should not be a big problem for them since they still have the advantage now, with 2 home court games on their side. And actually, if they can win Game 5, they should be able to finish the Wolves in Game 6.

Maybe what you mean immature move right? But anyways indeed its not good action done by Wemby. Playoffs is so physical and he need high patience to deal with other player. Now he lost his temper and we have seen that it result on something not good which cost a lot from his team and they lost against Wolves today. Wemby need to man up and accept that physicality is part of basketball. For sure Spurs can't afford him to be thrown out again. That's why he need to be more careful since their conference finals run will be at risk if he made a mistake again.

They can manage the game without him, although it will be difficult to win against the Timberwolves with Anthony Edwards putting on his offensive clinic. I don't think there's another penalty regarding the presence to play, but there's a chance there will be a fine. What I do hope is that someone is teaching him how to control himself. There's a lot at stake here, and his teammates are looking up to him to be the leader who will help them get the championship. He should be better than that.

The only question is whether Wemby himself will be able to keep his emotions in check. If not, we might see him get ejected again or simply play poorly because he’s letting his emotions get the better of him.

Wembanyama isn't a player who we see getting ejected very often. I'm pretty sure he regretted doing that to his opponent very much as he left his team much more vulnerable in the 2nd quarter already... I also expect Timberwolves to push his limits in the next game too. But this time I don't expect an ejection by him. He had better manage his anger otherwise it would be really disappointing for a player who is an MVP candidate.

Tonight could be the last chance you ever get to see LeBron James play in the postseason. Don’t miss it! I know I’ll be watching and hoping for an upset. This is the biggest underdog spread LeBron has ever had in a home postseason game. He needs a miracle tonight to keep his postseason alive.

The Spurs should be happy that there's no affection of their upcoming game from how he's elbowed Reid on that play. I would praise Reid's body with that impact, he's disciplined because if that's someone who lacks of training and physical strength, that guy won't be quick to get up.

Knicks just look in great shape now. They destroyed 76ers 4-0 and that last game effort was incredible. 144 points and a great teamwork by them. Now they are waiting for their opponent in conference finals. Cavaliers are 2-1 behind but they are playing home tonight again. I think they will make it 2-2 first and win the series later on as well.

I’m surprised by the NBA saying they weren’t going to suspend him for the next game. I think he deserved it to be honest. Personally, I agree. That's more than a flagrant foul, we play basketball and that height advantage of Wemby makes his elbow like a spear. lol It's intentional but as the management have decided that Wemby can still go on for their next game, they might take the next one. The Milwaukee Bucks have stated they are looking for a trading partner to find Giannis a new home. I’m not sure who is in a position, but I know the Warriors are very interested.
Hmmm, so Giannis going out Bucks is already official. Maybe last run with if ever Steph is about to retire or with LBJ.

After a bad season, we already expected something like this could happen. But being traded to the Warriors, that is something we don’t really know yet. Of course, a lot of fans would want that to happen, because that might be the only way the Warriors can have a real chance to become a championship team again. But the question is, who will they trade for Giannis? Maybe they will include Butler, and that could be a good start. But for me, Draymond should stay because he makes the offense better. He may be a bit of a dirty player sometimes, but his high IQ in the game is undeniable. He understands the system, he knows how to find shooters, and he still brings that defensive leadership. So if the Warriors really want Giannis, they need to give up something big, but they also have to be careful not to destroy the core that makes their system work.

As much as we want to see an upset, they’re facing the Thunder without Luka on the floor. LeBron can still ball at his age, that’s already proven, but it’s just not enough against OKC. A miracle has very little chance of happening today. Even if they somehow manage to win, they’re still most likely bound to lose this series. I guess this could also be the last time LeBron wears a Lakers jersey. I’m more interested in what his next move will be this summer or which team he’ll join next.

I think if he was not ejected in that game, there is a huge possibility that the Spurs would already be ahead now.
that was an amateur move landing a hard elbow to the opponent's neck could have had dangerous consequences... moreover no matter the circumstances, it was a massive mistake by Wemby and it might even cost them the series. Maybe what you mean immature move right? Maybe he meant amateur as well, like a rookie. We cannot really deny that because Wemby is still young. You can see that he is very honest and even talks about the ethics of basketball, but sometimes things happen and we lose control, especially if we feel we are being played dirty. And honestly, that is probably what the Wolves can only do, try to get into his head because Wemby is just unstoppable. He really is the definition of an alien. His size, skill, and shooting touch are just not normal, so teams will always try to find other ways to slow him down.
That mistake will not happen again, for sure.

Lakers game starts really late. I'm not sure if I'll be able to watch it. First we'll see if Pistons get a road win finally. I hope they can do it because Knicks swept the Sixers and they will get plenty of rest. If Pistons get even more worn out, the Eastern Conference Finals will be much tougher for them. 3rd game was close, the team is aware of the mistakes they've made. If they win this game, the series will end in Game 5 at home.
