I was in the impression that the home team will take this game but Cavs have other things in mind, forcing the game into overtime and managed to snatch the homecourt advantage, they can finish the series now at home, knowing how good they are when playing at home let see if they'll end this in game 6 or Piston will do their best to push for a do-or-die game and have the chance to be in East conference finals. We know that the Cavaliers are 5-0 on their own home court this playoffs, but that doesn't mean that the Pistons will automatically lose in this one already as they've also won on the road against the Magic as well that forced a Game 7 to win the series. TBH, it's still anybody's game in Game 6 even though the Cavaliers are undefeated on their home. It's the Pistons that we are talking right now, and they aren't a top seed for no reason at all. I expect that this will be a 7-game series and the Pistons will steal one on the road. let see if they'll end this in game 6 or Piston will do their best to push for a do-or-die game and have the chance to be in East conference finals.
You know, even if the Pistons manage to beat the Cavs and make it to the Eastern Conference Finals, I don't think they'll have much of a chance there, since the Knicks have been playing better than them, judging by the results of the first two playoff rounds. Just for context, during the regular season: - The Knicks won the series against the Cavaliers 2 games to 1. - The Pistons swept their series against the Knicks 3 games to 0. I know that this is different from the regular season, but I think it's enough for me to say that the Knicks aren't the type of team where they can just sweep their opponents. If the Pistons somehow manage to win in their series, there's a chance that they might also win against the Knicks because of their performance during the regular season. I'm still rooting the Knicks to win on the East don't get me wrong, but both the Pistons and the Cavaliers aren't just a regular team. After all, they are a playoff-contender team. Let's give them a chance I guess.

It is really hard to predict in the playoffs, but we already saw something like this happen. The Knicks were able to sweep the Sixers despite what happened in the regular season. This year, the Sixers even beat the Knicks in 2 of their last 3 games, so that would make people think the Sixers were the better team. But look at what happened in the playoffs, they were no match for the Knicks. So I think it is more about matchup, how they play, and how they adjust. Even if the Knicks looked really good last round, we still don’t know how they will match up against whoever comes out between the Cavaliers and Pistons in the ECF. But for me, I would still place my bet on the Knicks. They look very confident, and they have improved a lot. Even if Brunson does not score much because most likely he will be doubled, their other players are ready to contribute. Their 3-point shooting has been very efficient, and their inside presence is also strong.

I thinks its also about the schedule, and how many playoffs game the opponent played, if they played seven games, its the fatigue that contribute for the team as they play to the team that has played less, also the status of the star players, knicks is like Pistons team there are players who can dominate the game, if their star player is not putting up numbers like bridges, he is not playing well in the last few playoff games, but when it comes to finishing the series they show-up and make needed points to finish the game, that what the knicks are capable at the moment and also the match-up.

For me I don't think that fatigue could be a main issue for this player. They are build for the playoff and this what separates a good team from great one. Great ones can play back to back or at least a rest in between and won games. But I do agree that it's hard to predict this series and factors like health should be considered. It looks like though both the Knicks or Cavs (I will be biased as I want them to win the series against Detroit). So if they happens then I will say that I will go with the underdog Cavs with Harden and Mitchell leading them.

I really thought in NBA playoffs Round 1 that the Orlando Magic would upset the Detroit Pistons. Good thing Detroit managed to come back and win the series against the Magic. I’m hoping the Pistons can also make a comeback against the Cavs, eventhough the next game is on Cleveland’s homecourt. I think if Detroit wins Game 6, they’ll have a good chance to do it again in Game 7..
But honestly, I think no matter who qualifies from the Detroit Pistons vs. Cavs series, the Knicks will probably just sweep them in the next round.
I think when everyone saw how good this Pistons roster when Cade was in it, everyone has cheered for them. And little by little, they're proving themselves and I also want to see them win this series against the Cavs. But Cavs is a consistent team every time they get into the playoffs. In this series they have, everybody would like to see it prolonged into game 7. That's the best part of these games when both teams are doing their best to move to the next round which is the east finals.

Yes they are built for this tough gaming condition but there’s always advantage for player that get enough rest and conditioning compared to team that recently came from an intense long battle with short period of waiting. It not always true what I said if the team who has a lot of rest doesn’t use properly their waiting on conditioning players. But since Basketball is an endurance sports, proper conditioning with enough time is the ideal for every team.

Cavaliers have really come back in the series from 0-2 to 3-2! But I still believe it shouldn't have been this hard for them. After beating Pistons away last I guess they'd finish it home. But I'm also one of the people who don't give them a serious chance against Knicks in the conference finale... Knicks are just looking so strong now by sweeping 76ers easily. The same 76ers eliminated Celtics previously as you know. I think this is one of the best series we've seen lately. The Pistons had a great start to the season and were very good in the playoffs. But we all saw what happened in the last three games. Suddenly the series changed, the Pistons fell behind, and it looks like their season is over. The Cleveland Cavaliers are playing better than I expected this season, especially against Detroit; I didn't think they could do this Pistons team is the no.1 team in the east they were good but something happens to one of their players suddenly his numbers dip continuously, this is Duren, we don't know why all of a sudden a player that is consider the pillar of the team campaign for the season, just become a bench player with regard to his scoring, in the regular season I consider him a threat in the playoffs, but that is not what happen in the playoffs he became a liability, this is why they struggle with the Orlando Magic, good thing the team was able to recover in the series and eventually won, but Duren still not to be found.

Duren is really missing in this playoff. Good thing that the average of Cade somewhat increased and there are other players in the Detroit uniform can cover for him. But if they are going to win the series against the Cavs then he really need to stop up his game to contribute. He can't just go there and not being a two way player. Even Beef Stew is doing great as compare to Duren. He is the missing piece why this series has to be extended or one reason why they've lost the last game.

While I am sure Lebron is not doing it "for" the money, it's really not that bad of an idea to have some more money, who says no to more money.
Moreover, he will make money even if he stops playing, his nike deal will continue even after he retires, BUT he does make more when he is playing, so it's not even just about the salary.
He is also known as a very fragile person, who doesn't like to spend much money, so I am assuming that he will try to squeeze every ounce he can from every venture.

LeBron will play as long as his health allows, but it's not about money. Even if he did nothing else at this age, just stayed home, slept, and traveled, the money he earns would be enough for the rest of his life. His goal will be to leave behind records that will be difficult to break. For example, he's the oldest player to record a double-double. Perhaps he'll want to improve that record until he's 42, 43, or even 44. He definitely has goals. Maybe he'll return to Cleveland next season.

Objectively speaking, LeBron is performing very well for his age, but during the last regular season, he didn’t play like a $50 million player. In other words, I don’t think the Lakers, or any other team, will offer him a contract worth $50 million or more. If he wants to keep playing, I think he should look for a compromise and accept a $30-40 million contract if someone offers it.

Lakers is now thinking about rebuilding around Doncic so there's less chance for Lebron to stay. Also he provably knows about this and this is the reason why there's a rumor about possible retirement or he will go on Cavs for his retirement tour. But what Cavs can offer is veteran minimum contract but let see what they can do or if LBJ will agree with this for his last dance on NBA. Also there are teams interested to sign him because they see that LBJ still a good leader, maybe on for $50m but on the figures you have said which is still quiet huge for a veteran player like him.

Certainly agreed! I just think what LeBron could do better than this at the age of 41... He's just started to play in a different role of course after getting quite old and Lakers' having one of the best NBA players like Doncic. But he is doing just great in his new role also. He is a good help for his team. However I guess he'd finally part ways with Lakers soon. His contract is just too expensive! He is making nearly the same amount as Doncic now.

At his age Lakers needs to think about it though LeBron already established his name it might a tough decision for Lakers management to let him go, business wise LeBron can still attract fans and his merchandise can still bring decent amount of profits, but if ever that Lakers is chasing for another title, they need a much younger star or stars that can bring help to Luka, the contract value of LeBron can bring them stars or a two way players who can bring help to the entire squad.

Luka became the no.1 option of Lakers even if Lebron is there, so expect that role reduce and he's there to support Doncic. What amazing to see is the king adapt on the rule given by the management to him. Also he step up once they need him especially when Doncic is not playing due to injuries. I think what Lakers needed is bench production, they are lacking with people to support them. Also maybe they need to change Redick since I think they can do more if this team will be handled by veteran a coach.

I don’t know if it is really a coaching problem, or maybe we are just expecting too much from the Lakers. We still think LeBron is in his prime, but in reality, he is already nearing retirement. At his age, he is not that exciting to watch anymore, and not really the kind of player you would pay a lot of money for if you are thinking long term. So I guess we just have to accept it. As long as LeBron is still there and the team is built around him, the Lakers will probably no longer win another championship.
