What an interesting series that was... Both of the sides showed some big dominance against themselves in many games. There was never a clear favourite of the series because of that honestly. 

I was very surprised with Cavaliers' being able to score 125 points without Harden's help in Game 7 by the way. I wouldn't call that performance much of help. He was useless.

Cade looked really disappointing with only 13 points. But even if he stepped up, I doubt they would win.

Although James Harden had a somewhat sluggish performance in this game, his teammates played very well, and Cleveland defeated Detroit by 31 points, 94-125, on the road, setting up a conference final matchup against New York. I don't know how this matchup will turn out. Cleveland and New York are two evenly matched teams. Cleveland will only have home-court advantage. New York swept Philadelphia in the previous round. I see New York as having a slightly better chance of reaching the finals.

Harden can't afford to have this kind of games if he wanted to go to the NBA finals. They are not as deep as the Knicks and they have a lot of goods that can guard James Harden so this is going to be hard for him. But it's good to see Donovan stepping up, and leading up to the win.

I'm seeing the Knicks has the advantage because of their depth here and as I have said, they can throw a lot of players to guard Mitchell and Harden. And OG and Towns will have even if up with Mobley and Allen in the middle.

Knicks has a little bit of advantage due to their deep bench players that can step up on the game. I’m surprised on the outcome of the game since Pistons seems formidable but some of their players doesn't step up when they needed the most on their offense.

I think Knicks might overwhelm Cavs on this series if they can still keep up their performance that they show against the 76ers.

With the amount of rest the Knicks have they have fresh legs and Cavs might be late in the adjustment in fast phase, the only problem with the knicks is the two tower of the Cavs Allen and Mobley, this two were not a typical center like embiid they really can handle and defend because of their height and long arms, they also have better shooting, and they can run, but if they are going to show the same offense and defense, they will be a lot of fun in the east same with the west, its hard to choose which of the teams remaining in the east will be in the finals, they seems like match, but i could say harden can be a game changer, if he will not be the old harden that disappear in some games.

Cavs and Pistons should not have been this close, Pistons have done great and should have won the game but I guess that is what we are seeing right now and should not be considering how inexperienced players can do fine at regular season but when it comes to playoffs you need to have some playoff experience to be better.

In any case, whoever comes from here, I guarantee you that they are not going to win the ring, that much is obvious, not sure if they will go to finals or not, but it is clear that they will not win the ring. OKC is better than both of these teams ,and even if by some sheer luck OKC ends up losing to Spurs then Spurs are better than these two teams as well without much argument about it.

It's a good thing that they made it that far. They need more experience, especially Cade Cunningham. He is going to be one of the big stars of the league, and he is just lacking more years of playtime. They are growing, and I think that's a good thing. I think Cade needs to level up his passing ability, especially now that he will become a threat on the offensive end. Double-team defensive plays will come after him, and he must learn from what happened this season.
If he is capable of having an advance thinking when a double comes then he will be better. As I said, experience is what he needed.

Congrats to the Cavs. Allen and Mitchell showed how strong they are. The Knicks will have a hard time defending the twin towers of the Cavs. They have KAT but he ain't a defensive player. I guess it will be an offensive battle.

Harden can't afford to have this kind of games if he wanted to go to the NBA finals. They are not as deep as the Knicks and they have a lot of goods that can guard James Harden so this is going to be hard for him. But it's good to see Donovan stepping up, and leading up to the win.

I think the Knicks will have the edge here because they have a lot of players they can use. This team is not all about Brunson anymore, they have adjusted very well.

They already know Brunson will likely get doubled, but their 3-point shooting has been very impressive. In Game 4 when they swept the Sixers, they made history with that performance. So not only do they have good rest, they are also overflowing with confidence. And the good thing for them is they also have home-court advantage.

For me, that matters a lot in this kind of series. If the Knicks can keep moving the ball and their shooters stay confident, they will be very hard to beat.

I like the San Antonio Spurs to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight. Mostly because I hate OKC and the style of play from SGA, but also because Wemby is a monster and I’m not sure how long we’re going to see him play at this level before he falls victim to injuries.

Yes, I think the Spurs will be the fan favorite here, we love their kind of play, hard defense and they don't flop. Of course they have Wemby, and I even wanted him to become the first rookie MVP but they voted for SGA again.

Not that he didn't deserved it, but we have seen not just him, but the whole Thunder now also using his style to attract calls in their favor. So hopefully we can the Spurs giving their all to dethrone the defending champs and move on with Wemby's first NBA finals.

This is definitely the NBA western conference finals I was rooting for before the playoffs started, I even had it as my pick in the ESPN NBA playoffs bracket challenge, it's the battle of the future of league, not based on popularity, old NBA household names, or heavy fan base, but just pure hungry basketball from extremely young talents.

I'd probably be rooting for OKC Thunder as team here, despite the fact that I do like Wemby more from an individual perspective, but If Spurs should win the series, they are sure going to be I'd root for in the finals.

I rarely watch NBA games in this year's playoffs for unknown reasons but before the Game 1 even start, I already said to myself that I'll watch the whole game, and MAN it didn't disappoint me at all... aside from those Thunder fans of course who are now disappointed that they're chanting "REFS YOU SUCK!!!" when their "MVP" SGA can't shoot a free throw. What a joke.

Anyway, before the game started, I'm already thinking that the Spurs could upset the Thunder knowing that they're 4-1 on the regular season against them, and in all those 5 games, Wemby is better in all stats compared to Chet and we also saw it here. Speaking of Wemby, he's also the youngest player in NBA history to have 40+ points and 20+ rebounds in a playoff game. What an Alien we have right now in the league.

Let's also give credits to 2 things:
1. To Caruso who carried the team and scored a career-high 30-points off the bench.
2. Those Spurs who are very good at defending SGA. I mean from Castle to Bryant to Harper to Johnson to Vassell. All of them defended SGA pretty well, and because of that, SGA only shot 7/23 from the field.

I will say it right now. The one who will win in the West will win the title. That's my prediction. Also, it's good that I for some reasons put a bet on the Spurs on winning because I won.

Wemby is all over the place defense offense, Caruso have a great night, but the spurs really make things hard for the OKC thunder SGA did not score a lot Chet also, this will be another great game in game 2, hoping everyone is healthy so that they could show full force.
Wemby have a fantastic performance, i think he deserves the MVP more than SGA no disrespect, but SGA been awarded its for wemby to show that he also deserve the award by winning this series, he can say I'm the real MVP, what are your thoughts?

^ My thoughts on the MVP is that SGA should have never won one. Wemby probably deserved it this year but I actually think it should have gone to Luka. Wemby will probably win MVP next year and maybe a few more after that. This was Luka’s window and it’s a shame he got injured.

Shockingly, even after leading the league in scoring, Luka got 0 MVP votes.
