2026 NBA Season

This isn't the year for the Spurs imo. This roster will probably win at least three championships but right now they are too young and still have a ways to go.

I still believe it’s the year for Spurs, I’m not scared of OKC eliminating the San Antonio Spurs, like most people are saying that the roster isn’t looking good for Spurs, personally I have that believe and conviction that Spurs are going to outperform OKC and they will be surprised in game 4, let’s grab our popcorn and watch the game and see how Wemby rocks and Roll.

The game is mostly centered around young players now, if we are talking about older players, where is LeBron now, when OKC won the playoffs last year, it was a team mixed with young talent and some older players, which is what I’m seeing from this Spurs team, and  I believe in their ability and hard work.

Not really sure if you watch the games, the Spurs lost to OKC in game 3 already. With that, Thunder is up 2-1 already.

We have seen OKC won the last year's NBA championship, so it's not like we haven't seen a young team won. Yes, there could already be changing of the guards so to speak as the league is getting younger.

In fact, this two teams are the youngest of the team right now and they are fighting for the Western conference finals.

Knicks are getting away with it, they are already 2-0 up and Brunson once again had a very good game, 14 assists is great at conference finals. I can say that we could see Knicks reaching to finals this season, which is something you do not see very often, Knicks have been a terrible team for decades, even though being one of the highest valued clubs in the world. It can finally come to an end for them and they can reach finals, only 2 more wins left. However, lets be real, finals is all they can see, both Spurs and OKC would be able to destroy them.

Yeah. that is what i was trying to say. Spurs needs Wemby to play extraordinary (in fact he usually does it) otherwise they cant stop OKC this year.

Let’s just say he is already exposed. OKC has already found a way to limit him, so in that situation his teammates have to step up.

The thing is, they actually did, but OKC was just shooting lights out from the outside. If we look at the stats, their second unit contributed big time.

Williams had 18 points, McCain had 24 points, and Caruso had 15 points. The first two don’t usually give that kind of production, but in this game they were terrific.

So now the Spurs need to find a way for their own second unit to contribute as well. I don’t know if the Spurs can even take Game 4, but it is hard to trust them just based on the expectation that they can still make this a long series.

Lets be worried if its 3-1 right now its 2-1 only meaning there is a chance to tie the series but if they go down in game 4 and its certainly over, unless Wemby becomes super alien and destroy the thunder in both ends of the floor in the remaining games for the west finals.
They were being outmatch outside all the okc thunder do is sink all the three pointers, while wemby are being double team and being harass inside that is not a good thing for the spurs, he needs all the help he can get from other players, because the thunder players are contributing at both ends.

Now the referee is starting to react to what Hartenstein is doing down the rim, and I think they did great today putting him in foul trouble. I mean, what he is doing is locking players, disabling them from getting a rebound, and referees have been missing it in Game 2. It's a good sign for the Spurs, although they lost the game today.

Now, the adjustments must happen. They cannot let the Thunder get a 3 in a row win. That will be the end of their series if they let them win one more, especially in the home crowd of the Spurs.

Wemby all alone is not the solution, yes when he scored 40+ points they won, and of course they would love to have him score that much again but that doesn't mean that we are going to see him do it every game. So other players needs to come up and play decently. Castle and Johnson were especially bad this game for example, and while I understand they are lacking guards, but Fox was back and they need to do better without a doubt.

I mean 1 out of 8 from Castle? How can you win with a shooting like that? As a team they shot so terrible, they need to get better, they need to reach higher percentage, otherwise they are not going to get close at all. Hell they shot better than OKC last game and still lost because of turnovers. If you want to beat OKC, then you need to have low turnovers AND shoot good.

They need to solve the issue on defense, also how to defend without fouling and continue to play without complaining they are being played, in the court and mind games by the OKC, they cant do anything with the call so they need to calm themselves no call go back on defense, and let the game flow, everyone knows what's going on, there is no point on complaining.
Wemby need to assert himself again, he was being push and lock by OKC, if they want to win they need to play things, smoothly, castle harper need to work fox need to keep his cool.

OKC managed to take care of their business bringing Spurs temper to their mindsets, though it's not a good thing but it's a strategy to distract your opponent's focus, hopefully in game 4 Spurs will managed to adjust and just keep things inside the game not to let OKC to distract thier focus, just like what you said both teams are good and capable to win either at home or even if they are away so it's a mind games that both coaches needs to install to thier players.

Thunder have been winning for 2 matches. And they have been doing it with even a more aggressive defending. Sometimes I even think referees are tolerating them. I should say especially SGA but it isn't the first time it is happening of course.

However I don't expect Spurs to lose the series easily from here. Game 4 is also in San Antonio. I think Spurs will tie it at 2-2 by that game. But to win the series they need to give more into it to handle Thunder's defense in a better way.

This series is far from over, we still have Game 4 and if the Spurs can even the series, then it becomes interesting again and there is still a possibility that they can pull an upset.

It is two in a row already for OKC, and both wins came by a good margin, which means the Spurs have not really adjusted yet. I think what they tried to do was double or even triple SGA so he would be forced to pass the ball, but it looks like luck is also on OKC’s side because their bench has been playing really well.

Once they get the ball, they shoot without hesitation, that is how confident they are right now.

Going to Game 4, I think if we will bet, we should back the Spurs, maybe not all in, but this is the kind of spot where they really need to respond.

OKC are a good team but let's be real, they're getting away with murder in these playoffs IMO. Holding players in the paint, grabbing Wemby and not allowing him to rebound, lot's of reach in fouls that aren't getting called either. Then you toss in the flop master SGA and it's just disgusting to watch. I don't mind refs not calling fouls, but you gotta call it the same way for both teams and the Spurs are getting shafted.

the big question is why the league is letting it slide, its obvious the call from the referee who is making it worse the league or the refs, yes they are great team with a ring, but its hurting the league imagine its a crucial call giving it to the player that is not been fouled and its for the lead and a few seconds remaining,  the credibility of the league might fall and the league goes down, who will suffer from it the players, and the league they have to do something about it, or the ratings will fall in my opinion.

Looking like the Knicks are going to be in the Finals. That doesn’t happen nearly often enough in my opinion… The poor Cavaliers. I think James Harden wasn’t meant for the postseason…

I would love it if the Spurs could manage to beat OKC. A Spurs vs Knicks Finals would be very interesting to me.
