Yes, there are still upcoming games and let's wait until their series is concluded. I also want to see Wemby hold that finals and carry that trophy for this season. But we don't know, OKC is just simply strong and that's why they're the champs for the last season and they're also trying their best to get that back to back. The roster of Spurs is no doubt solid and very good to be honest. No need that much for the changes unless if there will be another veteran to add up so that he can play along with Wemby, that will be amazing and great addition to the team.
OKC are a good team but let's be real, they're getting away with murder in these playoffs IMO. Holding players in the paint, grabbing Wemby and not allowing him to rebound, lot's of reach in fouls that aren't getting called either. Then you toss in the flop master SGA and it's just disgusting to watch. I don't mind refs not calling fouls, but you gotta call it the same way for both teams and the Spurs are getting shafted.
I agree, there were calls that were not fair to be honest. We don't know maybe it's just because it's not seen by whoever ref was in that side on the view, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt about being bias. But it's a sad thing that whenever it was with Wemby, he's like hustling against them and there's no call. SGA sure is a flop master, I thought that there's a rule about flopping hard and have that penalty. I hope that there will be a lot of fans that will get the attention of the management on how some calls were biased only to OKC.

I don’t see it that way. SGA can flop if he wants, but he knows how to time it. It is not just acting, he really knows how to create contact and force the refs to make the call, that is how good he is.

On the other hand, we also cannot deny that he is very accurate with his shooting, especially at the free throw line where he is steady. SGA was 12-12 from the FT line last game, but if we look at the overall stats, OKC had 28-33 while the Spurs had 27-33, so there was not much disparity there.

The big difference was really in rebounding and 3-point shooting. The Spurs need to turn those areas in their favor today if they want to even the series.

Timing is what SGA is selling to ref, and he mostly get that each time he make his moves, though it's not good in most people's veiw but for his fans it's a skills where he's taking advantages, and yes, in terms of overall performances, Spurs needs to adjust with their defense as OKC's outside connections is killing them, we will see what are the adjustments and how they will push to win this upcoming game to tie the series.

Thunder shot 4/27 from 3. I could hit more than 4 with my eyes closed. Spurs are gonna tie the series. Thunder barely showed up in this game. Wemby played quite good and was consistent in all quarters. Castle, Vassell and Fox were all effective too.

I hope Spurs will go to the Finals. I can't stand Thunder's flopping anymore. They didn't do that much tonight, but the previous game was an absolute embarrassment for NBA basketball.

Hahaha, This is the bad game of OKC when their 3s are not going in no matter how hard they try. Usually, they will compensate with defense and try to get back points through free throws which doesn’t working against Spurs that has Wemby dominating the paint.

It will be a pure balling in case SAS and Knicks will meet in the finals since foul baiting and intentional contact while shooting will be lessen.

Yes you’re absolutely right, considering the way Spurs are playing I’m expecting them to win this game comfortably, when you look at how OKC are playing they’re very lackluster in their performance and defense and offensive, right now it’s looking obvious that Spurs are going to tie the series, I think majority of the NBA fans didn’t give Spurs the opportunity to get this far because they think they’re a team full of young lads, but I have believed in this team most especially Wemby and other team players contributing their best and Fox is also grate.

However I wouldn’t be happy seeing OKC in another consecutive finals that would be heartbreaking I can’t afford to see that happening again.

Wemby should be winning the MVP, because he is a grate player and a revelation to this Spurs team all he has to do is stay consistent, and stay healthy, his been grate in all quarters and Fox, Vassell and all the players are doing a very good so far tonight.

I’m expecting San Antonio Spurs to get to the Playoffs Finals, it would be a huge achievement for this Young Spurs Team, Spurs have Finally Tied the Series.

Yes, true hallmark of a great team unlike the Cavs, Lol. So it's down to best of 3 now, but the Thunder has the homecourt advantage. However, the Spurs have the momentum with their great defense.

However, the referee is somewhat favoring foul merchant SGA, but it's good that it didn't have any impact on the game itself as Wemby shows again his competitiveness. And as what most of the fans here wanted, it should go down to game 7.

Stopped them with just 82 points. That says it all. It's all about defense.

The San Antonio Spurs did great at guarding SGA. He's having a hard time scoring, and every time he does, there's always a hand in his face. Wemby, on the other hand, says we are going to win this after shooting that buzzer-beater 3-pointer before halftime. It was so damn amazing.
The turnovers of the OKC Thunder also affected the flow of the game. They are a fast-paced offensive team, and having those turnovers can break their rhythm, and the Spurs took advantage of that.

Good job for the Spurs today. Now, they need to bring that energy on the road for Game 5 at the Thunder's home.

The San Antonio Spurs got themselves a big win at home tonight tying up the series at two a piece with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Glad to see this series all tied up as I’d really like to see the Spurs be the team to advance.

Yes, in their last lost against the Thunder, the defense was not there. But here in game 4, they've played their defense and not allowing easy shots specially SGA. Wemby did have a block on Chet early in the first quarter and that really set the tone for them.

And if the Thunder is going to missed their outside shooting, then it's going to be problem for them. I really like the intensity of Wemby, you will never thought that he is just in the second year of his NBA career. The emotions and everything, as if he has been in this league for years already and have that experience to carry his team.d

So let's see how they do in the road as they needed to really bring 101% of that energy next.

They were doing great in this game, Caruso did not not attempt a three points only log few minutes, other supporting players or 2nd unit did not play well so they will really lose this game, but from the start the spurs really just put on the pedal that is why the OKC has very hard time chasing it, if they will do this same thing in game 5 then they have bigger chance of winning this series lets say they will use this strategy, the thunder might already give up early in the game spurs should approach the game always like this.

What's happening in the East is a bit boring. Now it's good to see that both the Spurs and Thunder are playing like it's their final game. I mean nobody's willing to quit, and we're seeing it in the first 4 games. Now it's a best of 3 series yet again, but Thunder has the homecourt advantage however, the Spurs have the upper hand when it comes to roster because it seems like all of their key players can play while the Thunder have JDub and Mitchell sidelined.

Being one of the best in terms of offensive rating, holding the Thunder to just 82 points is a big achievement for the team already because like what you said, defense really affected them. SGA was also held to just 19 points with 6/15 on the field. The Spurs made sure that there will always be bodies around him every time he hold the ball. The Thunder bench scored 34 points which is still high, but they can't stop Wemby who scored 33 points with +29 rating.

Game 5 will be on the homecourt of OKC. Both teams stole one game on the road so for me, it's hard to predict who will win in Game 5. This game will be the most crucial one because based on statistics, "The winner of Game 5 goes on to win the series about 81.3% to 82.8% of the time."

San Antonio won Game 4 convincingly, tying the series at 2-2, but home-court advantage still belongs to OKC. OKC played very poorly tonight and suffered a heavy defeat. Game 5 will now be in Oklahoma.

OKC was bad in the last game, but when I analyze the two teams, OKC is the better team. Without Wemby, the Spurs are missing 50% of their potential, but even without Shai, OKC still has good players.

That might be the strategy of Spurs, to just come up on fire and take a good lead. When I saw that the first shot of Wemby was a three and then he block Chet, I said to myself that they have a high chance to win and tie the series and that's why happened.

And we can say that the Thunder is unlucky as they keep on missing their outside shots unlike before when their attempt at threes was good. But the series is not over yet, as it's 2-2 and whoever take game 5 will likely win the series.

It seems like one side of the NBA Finals is already decided. I think there's only one game left. New York is 3-0 up against Cleveland in Game 3. I don't remember such a huge series win before. New York has the broom and looks set to win the next game too.

OKC is better in the other game. They had a very bad start to yesterday's game, but they managed to close a 17-point gap. That gap formed early in the game, but it was still impressive.

If New York wins, I think Jalen Brunson deserves the MVP award.
Knicks definitely looks like they are going to end up with a result that they want, that is done. The thing is that Knicks was not really "that" much better, it just looked like Cavs were gassed and couldn't play the way they normally do. Don't get me wrong even if Cavs played with 100% they would be able to actually do fine and Knicks could have won the series but the whole near sweep situation is mostly because Cavs played like half as good as the regular season Cavs and that is the reason.

OKC is another subject, they are just the best team and there is nobody stopping them, Spurs is failing to stop them and we are going to see OKC basically destroy Knicks and will do a lot better against them, there is a chance we see a sweep in the finals.

it is often said that the Lakers will have significant cap space in the summer of 2026 but achieving this requires dismantling the current roster. and alternatively, the Lakers decision might be to keep the current core largely intact and forgo using cap space altogether.

Lakers have good 2025/26 season by finishing 4th in Western conference but there is still room for improvement. If they want to improve there performance in next season then they need to do some changes in current roaster which are necessary. Lakers were able to make it to semifinals but the thing to notice is that they were not able to win a single out four games. If you can't perform well at important stage then your whole effort of season is washed away.

They need to let go lebron if they want to have a cap space for another star player, lebron won't take a cut for sure but it will depend on who is the player who will they get, they also need to improve their second unit, they look like a college team or less with that kind of second unit, the second unit of okc can easily beat the first team that is how weak their second unit are.
Its also need for the star players to be healthy and that is where the coach takes out the player when its not needed inside the court look at what happen to luka.

They are the current champ and experience wise they've got an edge against the young Spurs squad, though what we are witnessing is something that we can't accurately predict, as both teams really knows how to adjust after losing a game, it's time for OKC to counter what Spurs shows them earlier today, they need to adjust for them to keep that homecourt advantage and also to have that good position in this series.

it is often said that the Lakers will have significant cap space in the summer of 2026 but achieving this requires dismantling the current roster. and alternatively, the Lakers decision might be to keep the current core largely intact and forgo using cap space altogether.

Letting go of Lebron will be best for Lakers, because if he's still in their team they cannot build solid roster around Luka and Reaves.

Also they are fine with this combination already and what Lakers need to have is those things you have said, they need solid second unit for their team and if they can sign those good role players in their team. Lakers will provably became more stronger.

This is also what OKC have since they manage to sign those good players which is truly useful on their rotation. Now they are earning lots of success and they succeed a lot on their rebuilding process done before.

This is also what OKC have since they manage to sign those good players which is truly useful on their rotation. Now they are earning lots of success and they succeed a lot on their rebuilding process done before.

That is because things have changed now. It is not like before where one player can carry a team the way Kobe or LeBron did in their prime, now it is more about the right team play and having a good second unit. And you are right, OKC had been tanking for many years until they finally got top-rated players in the draft, and now they have a team mostly composed of young players who already play smart basketball.

So they should be the model that other teams can follow, especially if they advance to the NBA Finals again. Though it is not sure yet, because the Spurs were able to even the series with their win in Game 4.
