Sometimes we think the refs are favoring the home team, but maybe it is just the pressure of the crowd affecting the game. If OKC wins, I still see it as a very close game.

Again with the conspiracy theory, we always think of that when we are making excuses because we cannot accept that our team lost. Let’s just not discuss that and assume the game is played fair and square, since we are not all rooting for one team here, some are on Spurs and some are on OKC.

Since this will likely go to Game 7, then obviously if I would place my bet, I would go for the Spurs in Game 6 and I would bet early before the line moves.

I watched the highlights of the game. The first quarter was very evenly matched.
Oklahoma scored better in the second quarter.
SGA started the game a bit sluggishly, but found their rhythm in the later minutes. SGA was averaging 30 points or more. In this game, they scored 32 points and had 9 assists. SGA may have been last year's MVP, but this year Caruso is scoring much better and more impressively.
Oklahoma made the series 3-2. This series could go to Game 7.
If Wembanyama puts in a top-level performance in that game, the Spurs could reach the finals.

OKC can win Game 6 and finish the series. That's how I feel.

I like it, there is a possibility here, but I would still trust the home team because a Game 7 would also give the NBA a very good rating. This is the top 1 and top 2 team in the West playing, and although OKC is the better team since they are the defending champion, I still believe home-court advantage can be big because the crowd will get involved.

With the current officiating in the NBA there is a chance the OKC will be in the finals, if they are gonna let this refs gone wild, and control the league on how they win, this refs might be rigging the game and making someone rich, this is not just a thing, its truly might be happening, the league has no control over the refs, they can't be held accountable for the game, the league needs to create their own officials, this might drop the hammer in the league if this will be stop, but i think they will let it go to game 7, then do their thing again.

The New York Knicks have been different beast since that tough fought series vs Atlanta Hawks, they’ve flipped the script and become the very best version of themselves, their level of team chemistry and understanding is crazily impressive because they each players they have on the floor as their starters despite being able to score pretty well and great defensively too, they all player for each other and no one is trying too hard to be the hero, and KAT taking a step back on his offensive skill set while just play making and stretching the floor have been one of their keys to this great run as well, if they can play like this in the finals, it’s going to be tough series for whichever Western conference team they face in the finals.

I think New York has been a different team since the KAT trade. It was a great pickup for them and it doesn’t surprise me to see KAT finally getting a deep playoff run. Would love to see him win a ring before the Timberwolves do. They were nuts to let him go.

While KAT is definitely a good player, they are not really looking like they are doing this all thanks to him, the team as a whole is playing great. They literally swept Cavs, which I did not expected. I thought that this would be closer, after all conference finals are rarely sweeps, that is usually for first round and if you are way too good maybe second round but you do not see a sweep at finals, that is very rare. And Knicks managed to do it, don't know how they did it but they did it somehow and I think it is clear that we are seeing them do a great job without a doubt.

Without McCain having a hot hands I think Spurs can manage a comeback on this game since they already have the momentum when they are trying to have a quick 3 recovery.

Anyway, I still believe this will be a game 7. Coach Johnson will surely formulate a plan to counter this.

Yeah, his contributions are well appreciated because the Spurs was also on fire if he hasn't have those shots. I also believe that we'll see a game 7 on this one so counting for the Spurs for the game 6 should be. More on how Spurs will adjust, just like what mentioned above your post Spurs can do a good run and able catch up if not with McCain hot hands chances that Spurs may able to comeback and force the game, though they came out short but hopefully they'll be able win their next game forcing the series to a do or die final game 7.

It is a great test for them and they are getting much needed postseason experience as a team.  It takes everyone a few tries to break through, so while I hoped this would be it for Wemby, maybe next year will be his year.  I'm actually surprised that team has come as far as it has.  With 2 or 3 more pieces and some luck staying healthy they will have a dynasty on their hands.

if Knicks and Thunder faceoff in the finals for sure its going to be the Flop finals in history, although we know how good OKC doing that, the knicks are going to have a hard time, but for sure they will not going to give up without a fight, i been thinking if this series goes to game seven, the Thunder will still win the series as they are at home, but if its going to be a close game Spurs have an advantage, thunder need to make a buffer lead because every time they have a 2 or 3 pts lead they were defeated.

Referees favoring the home team? Possible, but not on this one at least from my perspective.

There are 2 instances where Coach Johnson wanted to challenge the call, but the referees didn't acknowledge it even though it's pretty obvious that the referees missed those 2 calls. Also, SGA did where he's the best at - flopping, and we've seen it throughout the series where he's just falling whenever he shoots hoping that he gets a foul. I know that the Thunder are the champs, but at the same time, I see the reason why many are hating them outside of their OKC fans. They make the league unwatchable because of these flops, dirty plays and let's add the those referees who are "favoring" them.

Pressure? It could affect, but we can't deny the fact that these referees are having missed calls in the most crucial moments and that could affect the momentum of the team just like what happened to Spurs. TBH, if the Thunder somehow win on this series, I just want the Knicks to win the NBA Finals. That's how I hate the Thunder.

Somehow I think it will be an advantage to have enough rest for Knicks since whoever won the WCF will surely have fatigue and physical decrease that will lead to injury with just one bad fall like what happened to Jdub of OKC.

The NBA issued Wemby a warning for not fulfilling his media obligations after their game 5 loss. Typically there would be a fine but Wemby is still young and not super rich yet, so maybe they decided to give him a pass. I’ve also never heard of him doing anything like this before.

When situations like this happens there is no way that you will not emphasize on this matter in a general sense, because there would always going to be a favoritism when a game of this magnitude gets hard and tough, sometimes I feel this officials have someone that they’re supporting in terms of the game management, I’m also expecting the game between Spurs and OKC to head to game 7 but I’m going to give it to Spurs because they looks more like a better team this season.

I’m going to admit that the Knicks are a very strong team, and I have been watching how they are playing in the playoffs, sweeping aside the Cavs I was quite impressed it was an easy run, Knicks vs Spurs in the Finals, that would be some hell of an encounter.

This is really a great advantage for them because aside that they can rest well and prepare for final, they can also scout their opponent then do good plans to counter they plays.

Those team will win on WCF will have heavy fatigue, because they play lots of game and each game they play is so though. So chance for recovery is so low and maybe this is what Knicks will take advantage on finals.

If OKC will win, this is tough for Knicks because they didn't win against the champ on regular season, but let see what they could do in finals.

When Wemby doesn't take the helm, Spurs just can't beat Thunder... In both of their wins he had the biggest role by far. He needs to step up again in the remaining games to make a comeback from 2-3.

I know it isn't an easy work to do. Thunder were the favourites of the series from the beginning! But not impossible for Spurs either... I see them as the only team that can eliminate Thunder in playoffs.

If Thunder will be the one to advance, then it will be a battle of team work, Knicks have Hart while Thunder have Caruso they are both good defender and bring something to the team yes when caruso play well Thunder wins or have a big chance of winning.
While the knicks rely mostly on teamwork and also explosion in scoring with bridges hart and the star brunson, they could match in the finals if thunder will end the series, but if the spurs can extend it to seven games, its 50/50 for them.
