I think there is nothing we can do about this situation it seems that the league officials and Referees are loving what is going on with the league, like the commissioner who address the situation see nothing wrong with the call, and like tolerating the flopping of SGA, even if we say we are going to boycott the league i don't think silver will do something, he even said that AI will be the one to recognize or call if its a flop or not, but the AI will be feed with information coming from them so they can easily tell the AI if SGA falls its a foul right? so there is no sense on that saying AI will be responsible for the review.

That's the thing, he doesn't think it is "good", he doesn't think it is actually a foul, he thinks it is PR, bad or good, marketing was something NBA needed for a long time. Since the whole Magic and Bird era, they went from games being on relay, to something famous, and since those days, it just grew and grew and grew, up until the last 5-6 or so years.

Since the past five years let's say, it has become more and more boring and less viewership is a huge problem that they are facing. So what are they doing? They are creating a villian, they are creating an enemy of the people, which is why every 29 team will be watching it, to see them lose. Its not Spurs vs OKC, it is about NBA vs OKC and this is why they are going to get more views.

Maybe after five years AI will be the one to play the game, and all are virtual no players will be playing in the court instead it will be just a virtual world where AI will play and they are the one who will determine who wins, that's a bad thing for business for the NBA, this new management of the NBA are messing things up, and in the long run the management and the refs will have no job and a business to manage, they are slowly destroying the league, without them knowing that it will end the league.

Maybe we should just enjoy the game and trust our human instinct if we want to bet. Of course we want to bet because this is the last game of the series, and after this the NBA Finals will start. Spurs are quite interesting here, but experience-wise and with home-court advantage, I think OKC will still have the edge.

What you said actually makes sense because people will only keep watching if the matchup is interesting. If OKC gets in, the Finals will not be boring because they can hype the story of a possible back-to-back championship for OKC, while New York finally gets a chance to beat the defending champion after being away from the Finals for so long.

The last game didn't look rigged to me... SGA couldn't get those easy fouls this time. He couldn't get so many FTs in this one and his general performance was a huge mess!

I'm not claiming that he is actually a bad player or so. Of course SGA is one of the biggest talents in NBA now. But it's nice to see him not getting cheap FTs.

Tonight is going to be really fun with Game 7! Thunder is @1.62 while it's 2.24 for Spurs. I might go for Spurs from this attracting odds.

i’m not saying SGA is a bad player but i’ve never seen a superstar chase fouls in such a pathetic way. in the last game, in two consecutive possessions he wasn't even thinking about scoring. he was just focused on throwing himself to the ground to bait a whistle. one was a layup the other a midrange jumper…
both missed miserably and refs didn't buy into this nonsense and didn't call the foul. you don't become an MVP playing like this. watching him honestly ruins the game of basketball.

Preparing my beers now in the fridge so they will be ice cold later. Although that's going to be morning here in our timeline, I will definitely drink while enjoying Game 7 of the West Finals. Close doors. No spoilers from those who have a 1-minute difference in game time.

I also can't wait for Game 7! Spurs have fought back really nicely until now. In some games I got really mad at referees because of giving fouls in favour of OKC wrongfully. 

I don't need to hope for OKC to win in BSFL anymore as I already lost this round. So it's time to fully support Spurs tonight! The game is at OKC which is a disadvantage for Spurs but we never know...

Damn, those stat made me think that OKC should be winning tonight. Maybe the best move is to bet on Barnes player prop since he is hardly used anyway, so he might not hit the number offered. Sadly, when I checked my bookie, I could not find any market offering for him, so I guess that leaves me no choice but to take OKC this game and celebrate with the crowd.

It is being reported that people were outside the Spurs hotel blasting music all night to try and keep the Spurs players from sleeping. Interesting tactics. We’ll see if it backfires on them or not. I’m expecting the Spurs to come out strong but they’ll need to keep it going all game.

It’s been an interesting games so far, and we’ve probably the longest 12 minutes of basketball in the series which is the 4th quarter to look forward, the Spurs currently lead by 3 points although they’ve actually led most of the way and by as many as 14 points, but this is the closest it’s been going into the 4th quarter, let’s see who comes out on top.

Just like I expected, the Spurs could beat the Thunder in a series, and they really did. The Spurs got into foul trouble, but thankfully Wembanyama and Vassell didn’t foul out. The OKC also had no answer for Champagnie’s three point shooting. It was a huge difference not having JDub on the floor. Chet Holmgren looked completely nerfed, just 4 points on 1 of 2 shooting in 33 minutes. It seems like he’s losing confidence, while Wemby keeps getting better and better.

Meanwhile, KAT reached the Finals before his former team. In the upcoming Finals, only OG Anunoby on the Knicks, and Harrison Barnes and Luke Kornet on the Spurs have championship rings. The rest are all chasing their very first ring.

SGA is doing everything while his teammates contributed less today. No McCain, Caruso and Chet contributing on scoring which helps a lot for Spurs to maintain the lead and control the game on the last quarter.

Jdub absence is very crucial for this loss and I’m very happy that the referee has almost fair calls to make this game favorable for Spurs.

I believe Spurs will get their championship trophy this year.

I think the league realized they needed to change the officials because they are already on fire, and they might already know that there are calls that are not right but they dont want to call out the league refs because they might clash with them, you know the refs have union.
But its great thing they replace the refs, we see a better game and no lots of flops are giving free free throw, great game OKC could have won if chet is present in this game, could they be a contender again next year?

And we will have a finals that is going to be good, and this is just the beginning for the Spurs. And it really push them to the limit in their series against the Thunder. But they are really very hungry and they want to proved that they are the best.

Knicks might have beaten the Cavs 4-0, but I doubt that they can repeat that one. Specially if Wemby started game 1 like what he did against the Thunder. And it will just shows how difficult to guard Wemby, as he is a complete basketball player, can shoot outside and his mentality is like Kobe, very competitive and just wanted to him whatever the cost maybe.

i wasn't giving the Spurs any chance at all. i was absolutely sure OKC would take the series one way or another with their experience advantage. but I was wrong. most of these Spurs players are playing in the playoffs for the first time in their careers and they fought tooth and nail to make it to the finals. this is a massive deal.
