Spurs have their best chance ahead after eliminating the top favourite for the championship. Wemby's playing for many more games this season is helping the team a lot about it also. But even in his absence this team have learned how to play though. However they definitely need Wemby in this series. Because Knicks are having their best season too. After more than 50 years they have a huge chance to put an end to their title thirst. With Wemby i cannot see anyone beating him at the center position and i think that this is a huge plus for the spurs and i predict it will be 4-2 for spurs for sure. Even tho Knicks are really good i dont see them beating even with spurs only depending on wemby. Knicks have a good chance to win the title but they will need to do some crazy things to overcome spurs and they will need to take every advantage when wemby is off the court or hit a lot of threes. I think still that this is the Knicks best achievement in a long time and they are just one step away from winning it all and i agree this is their far best season Absolutely! Wemby is the big edge for Spurs though KAT is also playing decently hitting that outside and providing additional threat inside but with Wemby, not sure if what adjustment he will do to compete with the alien, unless they manage to use their weight and put that physicality which OKC did try during that WCF series, they need to bring all-in as both teams are really aiming to win the title.

Anyone following Air Corgi? --- If I'm not mistaken, he made a perfect prediction in the Spurs vs Thunder series. Now Yahoo has hype the dog, and Air Corgi seeing the Spurs to win the NBA title in seven games. This is just for fun though , as a NBA bettors, we should really on our own analysis. Yep I saw that prediction from Air Corgi, and I also saw that dog's prediction on the Spurs-Thunder series. I know that this is just for entertainment, and that prediction of that dog is an exception because it's 7/7. Now can the doggy do it again. Kidding aside, I saw that the Spurs will win in 7 games based on that prediction, and I also have the same prediction as well that it will go to 7 games, but I will not be surprised if this will end up in 5 games just like what the 1999 Spurs did to the Knicks in the NBA Finals. Will I trust the prediction of that doggy? Absolutely not, but it's just good to see videos like this especially for me where I'm a huge dog-lover. Absolutely!
The Knicks won twice against the Spurs so as much as I want to disregard the Knicks just because of how good the Spurs are, let's not forget that both teams have improved since the start of the post-season. KAT did a good job defending Wemby during the regular season, and although he didn't stop him entirely, his numbers are a bit lower compared to the usual ones. What's good about KAT as well is that he can stretch the floor because he's a good 3-pt shooter as well, and because of that, Wemby will be forced to be outside of the paint which gives a huge hole on the inside for the Spurs. KAT is also a good passer as well and we saw it on the playoffs. Aside from Wemby, all of the players will be mismatch against him so a small on-ball screen will be a huge problem for the Spurs. Anyway, let's just see how both teams will play. I'm not good at analyzing things, but I think this series will be fun.

It is being reported that Giannis said he will only resign with the Miami Heat. That basically tanks his value for anyone else, as he would be considered a 1-year rental. It remains to be seen if someone is willing to take that risk, but I'm not sure what Miami really has to offer without including Bam. If I'm the Bucks, I might consider actually letting Giannis finish out his contract if they can't get a decent deal. This is why they should have traded him last year when his contract still had some value...
I think other teams will not going to chase him even if he do things that will make him a bargain, lots of young players and free agent or undrafted players are making a big names, some were wave, and not given a chance look at what The sixers let go and what a pickup for the spurs, for sure other teams are now willing to gamble on a low risk players, giannis should let others have a chance to offer.

It has precedence already, with Michael Jordan and Nike. Then Michael separated himself with his Jordan shoes and the rest his history. I even watch an interview of Charles Barkley, advising him to get shares of Nike instead of flat lump some of $3 million as a endorser.
So Barkley did just thank and makes x amount of money in the future. As for Jordan, he is now worth billions. So he knows the business out of his fame and the shoes and the company and so Curry is just following on that footsteps and making a lot of money on Li-ning.
To be fair, Jordan doesn't really "own" any of Nike, he just gets cut of the shoe sales with his air Jordan brand. Meaning, any Jordan shoe is sold, he gets a cut, which is a great lifetime deal they have and made Jordan a billionaire for sure. However, If you think about it, Curry is reportedly own a piece of the company as a hole, of course it is not a big company like Nike, but at the same time Nike lost so much value, if you look at their finances, Nike is crashing hard. So Curry is just jumping the next best idea, which is own piece of the business itself.

Sometimes though, KAT over reacted on defense, not to flop but there are games that he might be in foul early trouble, causing the Knicks some problems in the middle although they still have someone in Mitchell to man the middle. But it's different if you have KAT inside, as he can stretch the floor and is a threat outside. Also, we might look at the tempo of the game. From my observation and in the East in general, they prefer a slow down pace and play defense, while on the West and the Spurs, they wanted to push the pace. So whoever controls the tempo, specially in the first half, will have a advantage. Looking at the players impact, there is Harper and Julian Champagnie, and then on the other hand, Josh Hart and Shamet will be the key players to be the X-factor.

But the Knicks do not really play slow pace, they can also score a lot of points because of their good 3-point shooting, so let’s see if that will continue against the Spurs, since they are a defensive team. What I see here is that since Wemby will be inside, the Knicks might rely more on their outside shooting, and if the Spurs give them that space, the Knicks might take Game 1. The momentum is on the Spurs, so I understand why the line is like that, but I have a feeling the Knicks might upset the home team.

They both play fast I'm not sure is it run and gun? the spurs also love to run they their big man can run in the fast break, the knicks on the other hand wants the ball to rotate or Brunson will attack the rim, the only problem now is Wemby is waiting underneath the basket, now lets see in the first game if wemby will put fear in the minds of the knicks because if we can see wemby will cover the basket and Brunson needs to move very quick or else all his shot will be block by wemby, shooting three's should also fall for the knicks to win.

I knew this Corgi from a couple of seasons ago, they are constantly hyping this dog as if he's making more accurate predictions. It's just notable that this year he made a perfect predictions between the Spurs and the Thunders, but I understand this is all for entertainment. Now let's see if the person behind this Air Corgi thing can predict the outcome in the Finals, because I think the Knicks are a more tougher match-up for the Spurs than the Thunders. The Knicks are 2-1 against them, and the Spurs will be in a better position at redeeming themselves after losing to the Knicks in the NBA cup finals last season.

But I think Knicks plays tougher defense that the Thunder. So that is something that the Spurs will have to look at. They can spread the floor similar to them because their center can also shoot from the outside. One advantage of the Spurs is the obvious, they have the Wemby, not just that he can alter or block those shots, but he can shot the ball too. But he will have a tough match up in KAT who has more experience as compare to Chet or iHart.

Them not living longer is one of the worst things in life... I do agree with Air Corgi though... Spurs in 5. Tonight it begins. No sporting event makes me as happy as the NBA Finals. Truly my favorite time of year. I am also excited that I don't have to watch SGA this year! Real NBA Finals basketball in a few hours!

Man I hope I can get out of bed in time in the morning. Now it's 3:30am and I am still up. The game starts in 6 hours. Anyway can7t wait and same here, it really was time those flopping and dirty playing Thunder got humbled. Spurs vs Knicks gonna be interesting, not sure if we will only see 5 games. Carrying the momentum is always nice but getting as much rest as the Knicks had obviously is also good. Only thing is, they might be a bit rusty, but we will see. Hope SA is taking game 1, otherwise we will have a very open finals series right from the get-go.

It's really tough trying to call this one, the Spurs does feel like the heir to the throne after taking down OKC Thunder, but the Knicks have shown how much of giant slayer they could be themselves, you don't get the sweep the 76ers and Cavaliers just on vibes and luck, this first game would provided a lot of insight on what to expect, and until then, I'm really not confident of either side simply because of how good the other can be, I'll be following the odds tonight, and maybe throw some players props up too.

Bleacher Report is reporting that LeBron James is getting ready to sign a 2-year 30 million dollar deal with the Warriors which I believe would be a 75% pay cut for him. He would be doing this to compete for a championship one last time with Curry, Green, Butler, and Porzingis.
I think this has actually become the most likely outcome now that Giannis has said Miami only.

Air Corgi is right about who is going to win ,just not the amount of games that it will take lol. Spurs are far better, and they should be winning, if any injuries or something happens, then things could change of course.
Remember, most of their players are young, and their body may not be strong enough to survive another series, so if anything happens, then yeah Knicks has a chance. But if not, and everyone is healthy, then Spurs will win less than 7 games and be a lot quicker about it.

Why not come back with the Cavaliers instead and retire there. I think that would be a nice script to end his journey. LeBron might be old but for sure he can still help the team win because of his experience. Playing with young talents mixed with veterans, he has a better shot with the Cavaliers than the Warriors, whom I think are prone to injury with Butler and Curry, and even Porzingis. For me, going back to Cleveland would make more sense, especially if he wants a meaningful ending to his career.

I'd love to see this happen, I guess those stars who gave way to have a pay cut really wants to get another ring with their teammates. And if LeBron does this, he's serious to get a chip before retiring. I'll be following the odds tonight, and maybe throw some players props up too.
Odds is favor of the Spurs but really making me think of going with Knicks. I'll go with some props on game 2. Good luck y'all.

It's because he simply wanted to team up with Steph Curry to at least bring one more ring between them. He had seen Curry's mentality during the Olympics and for sure everyone here shows what Steph can do if he is in the zone. Cavs might have a lot of young players, but they might not be ready to become a championship team even if Lebron is there. So James might taking that risk on the Warriors with experience squads and it's going to be fun for him to play with this grizzly veterans. Seems that bettors are leaning towards NY so best of luck. Air Corgi knows better, .

The spurs seems to be in a good position with a 10 point lead, while Jalen is going to the locker room, hope everything is okay at the moment, we don't want to see a player go down , now its it the finals, but right now the knicks need someone to carry them, while brunson is in the locker room, they need to step up, or they will be the one to take the first lost the series. Harper making a statement in this series, helping the team, and the spurs making a run, wemby is defending the paint well this is an exciting series.
