It's been a much closer game than I thought it would be.  New York had that hot start that was reversed by San Antonio and then it's been a battle since.  So far it looks like KAT has gotten the better of Wemby.  I knew he would do better than people thought.  It seems like this will be a tougher matchup than OKC for San Antonio.  New York has been impressive so far.  We'll have to see how the gameplan changes in game 2.

Knicks stole game 1 on the road 105-95. A low scoring game if you will ask me. There are two things that came to my mind why the Knicks won Game 1. The Spurs can't stop Brunson, and Wemby had a bad night. Well Wemby scored 26 points still, but half of those came from the free-throw line, and he only shot 6/21 from the field which for me is very unacceptable knowing that you're the main guy of the team. Well, Brunson also had a bad night shooting only 12/31 from the field, but nobody cares about that if you won the game, right?

Like what SGA said in one interview, they're just the better team on that game and in this game, the Knicks are the better team. There's nothing to panic though. Wemby will have a conversation with Coach Pop after this game, and the Spurs have stole games on the road including that Game 7 win against the Thunder. They need to make adjustments though, and that's when playoff experience comes into play because Mike Brown has WAY, WAY more playoff experience compared to Mitch Johnson. Knicks drew first blood and the win streak continues.

The Spurs started the game very well, but the Knicks made a great comeback.

Wembanayama played effectively again, but Brunson didn't give up on the other side either.

The Spurs were leading at halftime, but in the third and final quarters, the New York Knicks showed they were the better team and won the first game of the series 95-105.

The Spurs beat OKC, but they faced a tough team like New York.
New York plays very well as a team.

The second game will be in San Antonio in two days. If the Spurs want to be champions again, they need to play much better basketball than they did today.

Yes, even without the President attending, we have seen many personalities already watching the Knicks fans. And we all know that many historic games in MSG, so game 3 will be big and lit and noisy that's for sure.

As for the games, SGA was this year's Mr. Clutch, but the former, Jalen Brunson proved that he should still be that winner of that title.

We all know though that San Antonio can make a comeback, but at least for now, the Knicks has gain the home court advantage.

Massive win for the Knicks, in game one anyways the game is just getting started, but I was disappointed with how spurs played this game, they were very sloppy, which is why I said Wemby have been carrying this team all alone, as soon as he went out of the game that was when everything started going bad for them, and Knick got back into the game immediately.

There is still so much to play in this playoffs Final, Spurs shouldn’t allow themselves to go 2-0 down against the New York Knicks, because that would be a huge problem for them to get back into the game, because Knicks are a very strong team, Spurs have to win game 2 to balance the scoreline.

I know and I believe in what Spurs are going to do, they have to win this Season.

Knicks have made a really good start to the final series! Maybe because of being more rested, I don't know... But they won one of the games away which can really be valuable.

What an effort by Josh Hart though! I believe he made the biggest impact for Knicks. I can't say Wemby was on one of his best days. Don't look at the number of points only. 6/21 (29%) FG is really weak.

I thought that they are going to finished strong as well. But the second half is owned by the Knicks. New York is not bothered by playing in a hostile crowd, and they have more experience than the young Spurs.

The second game will be in San Antonio in two days. If the Spurs want to be champions again, they need to play much better basketball than they did today.

The first one to blink loses, so let's see how or what kind of adjustments they need. Specially after the break that it looks like they lose focus and let the Knicks takes over. So let's see what kind of basketball they are going to give the Knicks. Crucial too, as they don't want to go Madison Square Garden down 0-2.

Game 1 is spectacular because we see both teams fighting back and give great entertainment for people watching the game.

Although key players of Knicks perform well in this series. They manage to outscored Spurs on 4th quarter that's why they take the win today. To bad for Spurs, since they already made a good run on first half. But it seems that they choke on 2 half. Wemby is struggling on Robinson and KAT's defense and he need to perform more better on game 2 and should not let the same situation happened again.

But there is no denying that the Knicks and Brunson execute their game plan in the second half. Josh Hart doing everything in both ends of the floor. But I think the Spurs can adjust in game 2. Wemby's mentality even if he is just on his second year is different so I'm seeing that they are going to make a big adjustment.

I thought the spurs is going to win the game with the lead, but slowly the knicks chipping the lead bit by bit, until they overtake the spurs, Jalen Brunson always make the shot even though he is struggling but there is no doubt that even though he is struggling he still trust himself that it will go in, wemby seems shock that they were defeated by the knicks, even though with his performance and other teammates they come short, in the game, but i think they will do better in game 2 for sure.

Tonight it begins.  No sporting event makes me as happy as the NBA Finals.  Truly my favorite time of year.  I am also excited that I don't have to watch SGA this year!  Real NBA Finals basketball in a few hours!

You see how strong the Knicks are going to the NBA Finals, they swept the Cavaliers who are a decent team, so they should not be underestimated here.
I would even think it is more possible to be Knicks in 5, TBH.

Wow wow, if before this game i already believe in the New York to become champions of this NBA season now im full into that, they wina  crucial game, i mean for sure San Antonio was not expecting to give up their local game so early and this put New York in front and having now the "home advantage" for them.
