i was pulling for the New York Knicks to win but I was wrong. personally, i think the Knicks is making a mistake by building their entire system around Brunson. Spurs could have put the game away much earlier if they had been more accurate from beyond the arc. on the bright side, it made the series more competitive, which is great.

Unexpected situation really happens and for sure same with as you. Many people thought that Knicks will win on game 3, there's also speculation that there's going to be a sweep that will happen. But it seems that Spurs made those speculation wrong and they made a strong run on game 3.

Although there are crucial times that Knicks is slowly recovering their positions, but the Spurs step up and they manage to hold their lead until at the end of the game. Great to see some impressive performance from this young players and after Spurs win we can definitely say that this series is not over and we are now on more exciting part.

Yup, they play their system as usual putting Brunson in-charge as he always do the good thing is Spurs supporting stars manages to keep that help for Wemby, they are doing their best especially those young stars who really bring everything to make sure that it's not the end yet and they are still capable to compete, as it NYK win this game having a 3-0 advantage gives them higher chance to win.

Well the knicks have been getting away with holding the jersey in the series so i don't know if the refs are helping the spurs, the game officiating is a bit okay for me, but holding jersey is a non call in this series, the spurs are giving back with a physical response, but the fans are seeing the retaliation of the spurs but the jersey holding is not.

I thought the game would be very physical, but it still turned out to be over. Nothing has changed, their 3-point shooting is still high, so I think the bookies were really wrong to make that kind of line for the succeeding games. We might see another over game again.

As far as I can remember, it looks like Carmelo Anthony doesn't like Jeremy Lin because there were games that Carmelo was out and then Jeremy Lin takes over the Knicks, hence, the term Linsanity.

But I'm not sure if that really was the case, that Carmelo hated Lin or jealous of him as he was becoming the face of the Knicks that time. Sure fans are going to bring that kind of memories, like also in the case of Spurs comparing this team against Tim Duncan as well.

They don’t beef to each other. The problem is people keep comparing the effects when Lin was leading the Knicks offense while Melo return put the team on struggle.

This is a normal reaction for Melo since he is the face of Knicks by the time Jeremy Lin takes over due to his absence.

Even will feel a bit jealous or bad when the fans already backstabbing him after all he did.

To be fair, Melo wasn't melo when he reached the Knicks, and he was acquired to bring them some success, and build around him, and he failed to carry that. Had Fox as my last game to score more than 10 points. Thought it'd be the easiest pick, but he just had a lot of bricks. He came up in the clutch for the jump shot though.

if Wemby plays like a classic center in the paint instead of constantly playing isolation ball, Spurs won't lose easily. i mean, the guy's wingspan practically reaches the moon anyway...
btw Castle played his best basketball of the season this game. San Antonio changing up the rotation to play Fox, Castle, and Harper together to feed Wemby in the paint basically means winning games.

I was really like "Ah sh*t, here we go again..." at the end of Q2.    However Spurs really did a mega job in general of the game. They deserved it to the end...

Wemby is such an incredible player man. He shined a lot in this game. Brunson is really giving his best on the other side. But still not enough to stop Spurs this time. Game 4 looks more interesting now!

Game 3 was very enjoyable. The NBA Finals were played at Madison Square Garden for the first time in 27 years. While Wemby is the most important player for the Spurs, I find Harper's scoring contribution even more significant. Coming off the bench, he contributed 13 points and 9 rebounds. That's a very good scoring contribution for a rookie. Towns and Bridges were too slow to score for New York in this game. I think New York will win the next game and take a 3-1 lead in the series.
