Spurs are on fire now! They played Game 3 really strongly. Maybe once again they are going to play in New York but I think they'll make it 2-2. I hope we watch a series with 7 games.

Word!! They might have the most loyal and crazy fanbase, but also the most toxic. I mean they are waaaaay to emotional. When they were up 2:0 they were on the top of the world and losing one game makes them go beast mode on everybody else again, just ridiculous!
Knicks's coach also doesn't do the situation any favors, crying about the free throws and stuff. They play hard basketball in NY, and now they complain about having fewer free throws, just ridiculous. I was rooting for the Spurs from the beginning in this one but now even more. This team and fanbase needs a big humble pill asap!

Spurs have finally got their first win in the series. Not only Wemby showed his best performance of the series so far. But also they were in the lead during a huge part of the game too.

The final score was still quite close. I don't expect Game 4 to be easier than this for Spurs. They are playing away again.

I agree that's exactly the case here, the New York Knicks had the ball in their court after taking 2-0 lead, but it could get out of their hands or the whole momentum could shift back in favor of the Spurs, if they should even this series at 2-2 and take back their home court advantage, the next game could pretty much be game 7 disguised as game 4.

Certainly they did what is needed to win game 3, the difference in this game is that the spurs are now able to know that they can't relax when its the last few minutes , the knicks now are like the pacers when they meet they can comeback because everyone can shoot the ball better, so relaxing is not an option, players of the spurs know that if they had the ball they need to create and make the tough shot, spurs now are reacting to the knicks grabbing, and showing it to the refs, we all know what is happening, they are grabbing jersey but they are hiding it, while the spurs are retaliating back showing in the replay what the knicks are doing.

Well, looking back at what the Spurs did in Game 3, it looks like they have better ball rotation and protected the ball well than they did in Games 1 and 2.

So there's the key to winning Game 4. Keep on passing the ball, and it lessens the turnovers. Still, I don't like it when they do stupid things while on the lead. Those little things will make them lose. Also, check the first quarters of every game. The Spurs always have the lead, but they are having a hard time keeping it, unlike against the Thunder. Whenever they get a lead, either it sticks, or it will balloon to a blowout game.

They don't really need the Hack-a-Mitchell strategy. It just ruins their momentum, and it slows everything down.

They just needed that one win in my opinion to have that confidence in the Garden. And that's what they did, so even if the President of the United States are watching, the Spurs are in desperation mode that's why they made this one big win.

So with that, just one game at a time and don't look for games being played in their homecourt. Also, Wemby has embraced the boos of the New York crowd and turn it against themselves. We will see how everything goes on game 4, the Spurs shouldn't allow the Knicks to control the game in the beginning and pull a big lead as it is very hard to make a comeback. That's what they did in the last game, so hopefully they can duplicate it and tie the series.

This is also why some are saying that Knicks fans are the most dangerous fans out of all the fanbases out there, and because they can do things like this to other fans. I mean just like what KAT and Wemby said in one interview, "Let the physicality be on the court only." (non-verbatim).

They condemn what the Knicks fans are doing, and as players of the city, you don't want to see your fanbase doing things like that. I mean yes, it's to show support, but hurting them physically is just too much. Booing might be understandable. Cursing has limits as well, but hurting others physically? It's unacceptable TBH. I guess this is also one reason why many are rooting the young Spurs to win the title. Imagine what will the Knicks fans be doing if the Knicks won the title and will have a parade. That fanbase is very dangerous.

As for Spike Lee, I do hope that they'll do something for this because if I remember correctly, he's not allowed to do that thing. Complaining is fine, but doing it on the court? Also unacceptable. I do hope that the Spurs will steal one game on the road yet again and I want to see those upset faces of the fans in MSG.

Why is he seeing it that way, the spurs are not desperate they are winning the game in those two games before this win, the only problem is they are collapsing in the end game, they don't know how to finish the game against the knicks, it seems like the knicks figure them out in the series, the spurs changes their last minute strategy from being afraid to take the shot to taking responsibility and look what happen, they won, the spurs needed a spark in this series and they might already find in this win, so the knicks might need to double their effort in game 4.

Unexpected situation really happens and for sure same with as you. Many people thought that Knicks will win on game 3, there's also speculation that there's going to be a sweep that will happen. But it seems that Spurs made those speculation wrong and they made a strong run on game 3.

Although there are crucial times that Knicks is slowly recovering their positions, but the Spurs step up and they manage to hold their lead until at the end of the game. Great to see some impressive performance from this young players and after Spurs win we can definitely say that this series is not over and we are now on more exciting part.

if Wemby plays like a classic center in the paint instead of constantly playing isolation ball, Spurs won't lose easily. i mean, the guy's wingspan practically reaches the moon anyway...
btw Castle played his best basketball of the season this game. San Antonio changing up the rotation to play Fox, Castle, and Harper together to feed Wemby in the paint basically means winning games.

That is exactly what every team expects, him to be in the paint and playing there like a big man. But the difference he has is that, even though he has 8 feet wingspan, he still can shoot the ball like crazy, he keeps shooting threes from all the way down. That talent, with ability to dribble the ball like a guard, gives him an advantage over other bigs. Which means, if they want to succeed, they need to figure out a way where they can leave him ISO outside, and not be around him. This way, he will beat any big he faces, and if help comes, he can pass out to someone open.

If the New York Knicks had played like they did in the second quarter, the series would probably have been 3-0, and they wouldn't have had a chance to come back from here. The Spurs won a very crucial game, and their chances of winning the next game have increased significantly. That's how the NBA Finals are; just when you think the excitement is over, everything starts again. Now it will be truly enjoyable to watch the game; Wemby and his teammates will do everything right now

The Spurs got into physical and we've seen that Wemby shoves Brunson but he didn't get a technical for it. Wouldn't be surprising since both team are aiming for the championship and it's actually nice to watch the finals since both are giving their all since both teams really wanted it. The Knicks trying to get it after 50+ years and Spurs with Wemby trying to get it on his first playoffs appearance and it's something and with all the hype that surrounds him, he's won't just give it easily. So yes we were about to see some great upcoming games from these 2 teams.

Anyway, sad to see on the news that Knicks fans are trying to assault Spurs fans, I just don't understand why do they need to do that? It feels like wrong to support other team because they are on the home court, what's up with that?
