No, if it will be the Knicks, it will be in 6. If it is the Spurs, it will be in 7. So tomorrow in Game 4, if the Spurs win the game, it is possible they will win in Game 7.

And I do not think it matters who is older or younger. The team that deserves to win here is the one that played hard and is really hungry for that championship. Also, we can consider the coaches as well since they are the ones calling the shots. With bad coaching, even if the players are good, they still will not succeed.

As a fan I agree that it's much better to see a game 7 between these two teams who are trying to win a title both are hungry since NYK haven't got a chance for the longest time while for the Spurs it was more than 10 years, it was way back from the time of Tim Duncan when they last win the title, looking to see more aggressiveness from the core players of both teams especially those who really provides decent numbers.

I believe the Knicks will get this. Not because they are the better team, but I always think they are the more experienced team.
They are older so they deserve to finally get a chip.

For the Spurs, they are still a young squad and reaching this far is already a big achievement. I think next season they will be scary because they are young and full of confidence. How can you beat that kind of team?

If this series goes to game seven the spurs is going to win, the knicks need to finish or win game four to secure the trophy and the ring, the spurs learn fast, they know what to do if they are getting expose to this kind of game the knicks are showing, why i said they are learning every game, look at what the knicks are doing in the first two games, they are using body and different tactics for the spurs in game three the spurs responds and not letting the knicks bully them with their antics, the only thing they need to improve is the late collapse if those are taking care, the knicks are in big trouble.

Do not worry Og, even if the Spurs lose tonight, the series could still be interesting as long as they win the next 2 games. With that, we will be seeing a Game 7 which will be on their home court where they have the full advantage. Sorry, I have already cast my bet so I am just supporting my team for Game 4.

The pressure is now with the Knicks since they've lost the game 3. They shouldn't give this one to the Spurs. And in the league, the younger the players are, the more active and risky they are and that's why they won't mind playing at their peak and that's why the Spurs roster doesn't have much star but they're good and plays well altogether.

NBA needs viewership, so they really need to see the Spurs win and tie the series and then go back in Spurs territory. It will make the series more interesting as we don't want to see the series ending very early.

And it looks like it got the hype already after the Spurs won game 3 and the New York crowd became unruly and attacking the team itself and the fans. I guess it just shows how emotional New York fans is, but it really depends on how we see it as something beyond sportmanship.

It's a win or burst game for the San Antonio Spurs tonight, without how both games went, I don't think there is any doubt that they can get a win, but they'll have to play a 48 minutes basketball regardless of how well they start the game, the Knicks aren't going to go away like OKC Thunder in a couple of their blowout wins, so they need to keep that mentality and not start feeling like the job is done because of good early start, they had that in the first 2 games and couldn't sustain it.

I agree, it needs the whole 48 minutes, otherwise it's going to be very hard to come back from 0-3 deficit and win the title. They have a good chance to tie it in game 2, but I guess their inexperience finally shows up in the bad time.

But let's see how it goes, as fans, we are hoping that they can extend the series and we don't want to see a sweep. They could still make adjustments and Wemby and the rest of the gang will have to bring their A-game in MSG.

In each of the 3 matches so far in this series (tonight inclusive), the San Antonio Spurs have always had a decent early lead which I think they just need to keep playing the same way and not go out of character, of course, it is expected for the Knicks to always make their run and throw punches as well, but the Spurs don't need to make the run an easy job for them, either by bailout fouls or cheap live ball turnovers especially when Wemby is on the bench.

And it's a different story in game 3, as what we said, they need to be consistent and that's what they do in the 4th quarter. Fox shows as the veteran and that crucial jump shot of him was really big that put a separation from the Knicks.

Although there are still anxious moments as the game might go into OT as OG hit a corner 3s to somewhat close the gap. But Castle calmly sank those two FT's as cold as ice. Now, they still need to do that in game 4 and tie the series. So as what we wanted to see, game being extended to a game 6 or game 7.

I don’t think the NBA is controlling outcomes that closely, but we’ll see. I imagine the showing in New York after game 3 makes them want to end this series in San Antonio. I hope New York fans do better…

The Knicks is in trouble if the spurs take this game,  they are in trouble being down 3-2 in San Antonio, the knicks weakness are being expose in this game,  their free throw shooting, and hack a mitch, they are unable to guard the three point line in this game, the lead is already 26 point, Brunson needs towns but he is already in foul trouble.
The spurs shooting in three this game is amazing with excellent defense, if you can't match that you can't win, can the knicks come back in this game, that will be very hard its just first half and they are already 70pts.

What's even interesting is that, even after OG made that shot to retake the lead, even after the Knicks won, you can't see any smile on his face at all. He's almost the same with Kawhi where you can't see any emotions on his face whenever they made game-changing plays. Both came from the Raptors so... yeah maybe that might be one reason.
Anyway, I'll just give some 3 trivia that happened in this game.
1. KAT got 2 fouls in the first minute of the game (fastest in NBA Finals History)
2. Spurs shot 14 threes in the first half (most in any half in NBA Finals history)
3. That game was the largest comeback in NBA Finals history (29 points).

As somebody who puts my bet on the Spurs, I'm a bit disappointed on how they played the whole 2nd half. They got in love with three-point shots that they're constantly doing it even though it isn't going in just like in the 1st half. Those misses gave the Knicks an opportunity to make huge runs throughout the 2nd half hence, the biggest comeback in NBA Finals history. I've watched the whole game from the start, and even though I'm just watching online, you can feel the fans whenever they're disappointed, or whether they're excited just like what we've seen in the final minutes of the game.

Now the Spurs will be doing what only Lebron has been done in NBA Finals history. The Spurs are making history again to become the 2nd team behind the 2016 Cavaliers to come back after being down 3-1.

Wemby missing both free throws down the stretch shows leading a team isn't easy, especially in the biggest stage when it matters the most.
The Knicks can ends this series in the next game, and the Spurs have a lot to learn about this playoffs, not just focusing on beating the OKC.

Fox made a huge mistake for his last action. That sealed up their historical defeat against Knicks, for what happen on game 4 we could see that Knicks deserves to be a champion this season.

Its really unfortunate to see Spurs didn't manage to handle their huge lead and got choked so so bad in this game.

As an NBA fan rooting for the Spurs, it’s kind of frustrating. They were still up by one point, if only Fox had run down more of the clock, the Knicks would’ve had less time, and OG Anunoby probably wouldn’t have gotten that putback.

Now, only the Cleveland Cavaliers have made a historic comeback from a 3-1 deficit in the Finals to win the championship. Back then, a lot of people didn’t believe the Cavs could still come back, especially since they were facing the Legendary 73-9 Warriors. But they made history. It’s been 10 years since that historic comeback.

I don't think that is choking. That is a show of inexperience. They are a young team, so it can happen.

It's obvious what they should do. The time is their ally in the last 9 minutes of the 4th quarter, and yet they are forced to make a shot even if there's too much time on their shot clock. I remember Jokic in these moments where he would try to confuse the referee during inbound while the time was running. All they had to do was keep the time running and waste it as much as possible, but they kept on shooting even if it was a bad shot. There was a time the Spurs got 3 offensive rebounds, and Wemby kept on firing threes. Again, inexperience. That's what can happen if they don't do it right.
They have lots of ball handlers who can protect the ball. In fact, almost all of them can just keep on dribbling and wait for the shot clock to almost expire.

I already noticing Fox poor performance ever since he comes back again. Spurs is doing well without him since Harper will have more minutes and efficient compared to him.

No matter how I view it. Trying to score instead of wasting time is ridiculous since Knicks will still have enough time to make a 3 for a game time in case that shot go.

I was already celebrating until this last error from Fox. I will not be surprised if he will be traded next season.
