I was just watching Wemby's interview with the media...  He was asked about if he thought about becoming the second team to ever come back from down 3-1 and he responded, "Everybody knows we're gonna do it."

A lot of confidence for a guy who is down 3-1 in the finals, but I think they are the better team and could easily be up 3-1 without 2 bad decisions.  I think Wemby might be wrong here, but I'm glad he has confidence.  It shows we aren't going to see a "yips" situation like Nick Anderson...

Brunson is a big factor for the New York Knicks, but his teammates also support him well in terms of scoring. New York especially gets good contributions from the bench. They were actually very good. They proved that in the first 3 quarters until they lost their composure in the last quarter. That is a big problem because every game has a 4th quarter, and I think it will not be fixed easily, especially in a venue where the pressure is high and the fans are cheering for the opposing team.

But they still have a chance as they will be back at home. At least they have 1 chance to beat the Knicks and let us see from there. So I would say they just have to take it one step at a time. They should be fully focused on the game tomorrow because they need to make a big statement with a win.

Yeah, one step at a time. They should think about winning the next game before thinking about winning the championship. They are in a very difficult situation right now, and the pressure is surely heavy. Although they are still young, I believe they have figured out their mistakes together with their coaching staff so they won't make the same mistakes in crucial moments again.

Those mistakes cost them dearly. They could have tied the series in Game 2 if not for that bad pass. They could have tied the series in Game 4 as well if Fox hadn't taken that shot and had just run down the clock instead. Others should also step up in crucial moments and not just rely on Wemby. If only the others could consistently score 20+ points like him. At least that would lessen the offensive pressure on Wemby.

it’s great that he has belief, but i don’t think it’s right for him to just brush off the questions without even mentioning how badly they blew the game. i think a player should own up to his mistakes in a situation like this. in his postgame interview, wemby also mentioned that they weren’t the team hungry for the win in the second half.

also, take a look at jalen brunson’s comments when his team is leading 3-1. i think that’s the right approach. every game should be played as if the score were 0-0 until we become champions. every win is important, and no one should get complacent.

I would assume that no bookie would believe Spurs to win the title, because they need to win three in a row and we all know that is not going to happen. But I am pretty sure that everyone thinks this home game could be different and not be the winner yet.

Knicks could get the title here, but that would not be as fun, so this game Knicks will not lose on purpose, but would rest actively during the game and not put up 100%, if they get too close anyways then they will win, but they won't care enough that much.

Even though they are a young team they are very athletic and talented one thing that is missing is experience during the dying seconds, the knicks team have experience in championship rounds in college, with 3 players playing together they knew how to pressure the ball and know how to score, that is why they have the edge in the series, but if the spurs can win in game 5 with a big margin that is going to bother the knicks, remember they always trail, if the spurs can put on a scoring barrage non-stop it will make it hard for the knicks.

Treating each game like still even gives the players to aggression to win the game, though if NYK allow Spurs to bounce back it will be very dangerous in their end, if possible if they can push this one to win and grab the title this game will be the best timing, winning the title in front of their opponent's fans that's something to treasure, though if by chance they would love to finish it at home, they can let the Spurs win game 5 then beat them at home in game 6.

Hopefully LeBron signs with the Warriors and gives us one last season of interesting discussion. That story seems to be ending soon as well.

It would make it far more exciting of course and it is usually better for the NBA as a whole if these series don't end with few matches. I find it hard to predict because there were a few unexpected results already if you take the live scores into account. If the Spurs were to lose, no matter how they lose the next one, they would have lost the series in the last match without any doubt. I don't know if it was unprecedented, but losing it like that is quite dramatic.

Wembanyama against Brunson again. Yes the other guys contribute in many ways, but in basketball it is staggering how single players can nonstop carry their team through a season. Considering how many matches they play in a season, the fitness levels these guys have, the recovery and preparation processes must be on point every day. It is not like they have a week off most of the time until the next match takes place and yet these guys are ready and rarely fail. And you would think that some of their bodies aren't made for the best fitness levels possible. The size, the weight and it hits their joints hard, but you don't see that many injuries.

Well what to expect they are playing at their home and they are heavily defeated by Knicks on their last meet up. So many people maybe expect that Spurs will take revenge their game today.

But let's just see if that situation could happen and I believe that many people now think that Knicks get more chance to win a championship this season. If there's miracle happen and Spurs and Wemby do amazing performance, maybe we can see another interesting story and they join Lebron to recover from a 3 - 1 standings. This is tough mental challenge not only for Wemby but for the whole team.

The Spurs are really a huge disappointment if this series ends today. I mean, they had double digits leads in the 1st quarter for 5th consecutive games now. So, that means they have been throwing games 3 times already. Seems like they struggle closing out games.

Let's see what happens in game 5.

What a choke job from the San Antonio Spurs yet again, I’m extremely disappointed, I really don’t think it would have been this bad if it was OKC Thunder in the finals..
