I concur. They have only spent on Giannis all over this years and at least the team got something from him. But without that much help from the roster they have, he's literally going to waste all of his years while he's still playing. Well, the 2 teams that are competing for Giannis are Boston, and Miami ONLY, and among the trade package that they are giving, what Miami gave is more attractive compared to that of Boston hence, the trade happened.

This is your opinion, so I respect that, but I would not say that the Heat robbed the Bucks on this one because the Bucks also got some good young players like Herro which can be their main offensive guy, Ware who's a 7-footer big who can shoot threes, Jacquez Jr. which is a good defensive player, they also got the 13th pick on today's draft with some picks in the future as well. I mean the Heat basically gave almost everything that they have just to get Giannis. If you will ask me which of the 2 won the trade, I would say the Bucks because they have draft picks back, and some players to develop with as they rebuild.

I can't think of any "better pieces" that they can get in that trade anymore, nor no other team could give the Bucks a better trade package than what the Heat gave. Still, after getting Giannis, I don't see the Heat competing the East with the likes of New York and Detroit UNLESS they'll get better role players.

It depends if both of them will adjust on each other. Twin tower duo works on old era since there’s only few 3points shooter back then so most team prioritized on attacking the paint instead perimeter shots.

But now, team like Knicks, OKC, Spurs and many more can bombard an outside shot or a fast break points.

20 ppg for Bam is huge already, and then add Giannis in the equation, as both can average 50 between them. But it's just the question of the supporting cast of Miami as they have given a lot of players.

So it's not like they will suddenly be a contender team in the East. Still very hard conference to begin with as the latest champion is in their division. Although Portis is a good addition to them as he could also become the energizer like when he was with the Bucks.

This is a solid lineup did the heat paid so much for giannis, are they really desperate to win another championship they have give away a solid line up, i wish they wont regret what they have let go for one player, the heat should now be a contender, just make sure no injuries along the way
