There are some fresh speculations like Rockets are likely to make a move for Kawhi Leonard and Marcus Smart soon.

You might have heard of Rockets' intention to make big changes in their roster. They are even prepared to sacrifice important names like KD and Sengun also.

While rebuilding I think especially Kawhi would be a great option.    He is still playing amazingly when he is healthy...

Key words "when he's healthy". Kawhi is shit IMO as he is just rarely available. In the last 4 years he has missed a total of 106 games and been available for 222 games. That's 33% of the last 4 seasons missed. KD is getting old so that's not really a sacrifice, Sengun on the other hand is in his prime and decent. That would be a big loss if they traded him.

Agree if he's healthy Kawhi will be a good addition for a team, but the problem is his availability since if he continue to get injured and also they deal with his availability then also his load management issue maybe this will not result to more better situation.

I really like their roster before on which they have Brooks and Jalen, but Rockets choose to rush everything and destroy their roster which have high potential. Now they are struggling and dealing with many issues with their team. Better piece to trade is KD since they are not really benefiting on his addition on their team. Not really a good idea if they decide to trade Sengun and they would messed up badly if again they made a mistake for trading him.

Rockets wouldn't really lose much indeed if they decide to trade away Durant. He isn't able to play like the old times anymore because of being really old.

In addition to that he is creating problems wherever he goes. You would remember the scandalous social media incident at Rockets for example. I don't think it was just a rumour.

I think Rockets shouldn't only rebuild their roster. They should send Udoka away from the team as well.

Leonard do manage his body, he do load management thst is why he always play in playoffs they are sometimes declare he is injured to preserve his body, spurs csn still get something on him, as an experience and a champion player,  the spurs can play without him in regular season.

They can play without him during the regular season but that would be a waste of money for them for not utilizing him.

So they have to manage both of it and the way he should take care of his body to avoid serious injuries.

We really don't know what is going on with the management there. They made the playoffs in what, after 10 years but suddenly break up their core? It's no time to rebuild as they are very successful in the last season and could have run at least one year to see how far they can go.

The problem here is that he will only have a year to do it, unlike how Miami took a lot of veterans and then Lebron and Wade. They failed once against the Dallas Mavericks (monster Nowitzki) but went back stronger. Coach Kerr won't have that privilege. He needs to do it in one season. That will be a tough job, although probably fun.

I think Jimmy understand it, besides even though he is being traded he will still get paid on what is on his contract, Kerr might have a hard time playing this players, Kerr is more on small ball so this might end up a challenge for him, players who are big's are being traded in Kerr's tenure on the Golden states, and small players are retain, so if they get Davis this time, he might need to adjust his rotations and now will play with center position to be on his main offensive plays and also defense, so I'd be more interested how he will handle it.

Coach Kerr needs to work on it as early as they confirmed that those big names are being added to his squad, it's good in papers but coach role will be big blending players especially with superstars that being added on your rotation, like you said when coach Spo first have LeBron they did not win the title though the campaign was good as they reached the finals, and aside from that those superstars still at thier primes, while with the possibility coach Kerr have those oldies and nearing to their retirements.

Lots of teams don't want to develop young players because it will take time for them to develop and it will take a lot money, so teams now are not interested on young players that is need development, that is why they are now ready to pay players, veterans etc., you will be chosen if you are already equip and don't need any development.
If this continue some teams with good salary cap can get good players and can contend with the championship, but the problem this days are young players are good at end game because they are still fresh, although experience sometimes are better.

Jokic moving to another team, I think that will not happen.

Jokic is the main man in Denver, so there is no way he will be traded. If there is someone who should be moved, it should be Murray or other players so they can find better pieces to surround him. He is a real MVP, and if Denver moves him, then they are gambling with their future, which might cost them their chance in the playoffs.

I hope those rumors are not true.

What we are seeing is not the same as what the team sees. They gambled on this trade because they believe the team will improve.

And maybe there is no use anymore in keeping the other players if it still does not change the Timberwolves and they still fall short in the playoffs. What they want to build is a championship team, and I guess that is what every team wants.

With Edwards as their main man, he can surely carry the team, but they still need another star who can step up when he struggles. We saw it in the last playoffs, the plays were mostly on Edwards, so this time they need a good point guard, someone who can make his teammates better.
