I fully support Jamal Murray to leave Nuggets as soon as possible.  Tongue  Man, he isn't even close to his prime now. That was a really poor playoffs performance as well.

But Jamal was also key to their success when they won their first championship together. It is just that the team was not the same after they traded some players after winning the championship. The same thing happened to the Lakers. After winning the championship in the bubble, they traded some of their players like Rondo, and after that they already struggled.

I don’t know what to expect with the Nuggets, but I’m pretty sure as long as Jokic stays, the team will be a playoff team, that is automatic.

Murray help them with the championship but after that he perform below expectation and been injured or nursing something, he is not on prume that is correct but he's injured or hurt he can't make self healthy, yes there are years that he is healthy but their team missed other players so that is why they are having hard time to advance.

His numbers were decent even if you look at here .. https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/jamal-murray-playoff-stats-vs-timberwolves

I think what you are referring to about being injured is Aaron Gordon, because he was not healthy during the playoffs, and that is why his presence was really missed. If he was there, the matchup could have been better, and the Nuggets would have had a chance of winning, especially since ANT was also injured in the last 2 games, I guess.

Draymond Green has opted out of the player option for next season. This looks a lot like he’s going to be taking less money to make room for some more superstars… Something big is going to happen in Golden State.

Rumor has it that LeBron James has said he will only go to Golden State for less money if they can trade Jimmy Butler for Anthony Davis.
Doesn't matter if he takes veteran minimu, there is no player on the market right now that Warriors could get and then become a championship contender. Green should have taken it, his sacrifice will result with absolutely nothing. Sure maybe they will reach second round, and IF they are lucky and that is a big IF, they will reach conference finals, in a situation where they do not face any big teams and all big teams face each other instead. But that's about it, nobody out there in the market could turn them into champions again. James Harden? Lebron at 42? Reaves? Who is going to make them good?

I mean these are all fine and nice names but they are all either old or not good enough. So there is no way that they are going to do something major. If they get Lebron, that would be a big news, but still wouldn't help them win the whole thing.

We’ll see. I think Steph and LeBron would make a pretty special pairing that could still do some damage in the league. Add in Anthony Davis and Draymond Green and I think they can still give the young guys a run for their money.

I’m hearing we may get the LeBron news in the next 48 hours and Kawhi to the Raptors possibly tomorrow…

Free agent center Jock Landale intends to sign a one-year, $14 million deal to return to the Atlanta Hawks. Landale had a strong finish after being traded to the Hawks, averaging 10.6 points and 5.7 rebounds last season, and his agents Sammy Wloszczowski and Mike Lelchitski of SIG Sports finalized the deal Tuesday.

We would truly witness a legendary roster, and we probably won't have the chance to see one like that again because for the scenario you mentioned to happen, LeBron would have to decide to continue playing.
If legendary stars are together at GSW, even if they don't win the championship, I'm sure they'll play games that everyone will enjoy immensely. I would love to see LeBron win the championship in his final season Smiley

With the Warriors, it is possible as long as Curry is healthy. If not, then most likely it will be the same outcome as with the Lakers, they will be in the playoffs but will probably exit early. But for the Warriors, they will surely boost their ticket sales because of LeBron. And if LeBron wins a championship, which I doubt, maybe he will not retire yet and will continue to make his own record with Curry.

How many more seasons can LeBron play? Nobody wants to watch the king's downfall.
If Curry can keep him going and he can get some support from a few more players on the team, of course I'd like to see him play a few more seasons, but LeBron will always remain a legend for us, and seeing him play poorly in his final season or seeing him age alongside his legendary performances are things we would never want to see Smiley

And if you are Hornets fans, maybe you don't want to here another bad news,

https://x.com/ShamsCharania/status/2071291133062263247

We really don't know what is going on with the management there. They made the playoffs in what, after 10 years but suddenly break up their core? It's no time to rebuild as they are very successful in the last season and could have run at least one year to see how far they can go.

But no, they just decided to go backwards.
What the hell is going on with the Hornets? What the hell does Jordan thinks he is doing? First Lamelo, now Bridges, like they are not even getting anyone decent in exchange neither, they are literally just doing a fire sale and getting rid of everyone.

I am assuming they are going to tank, but they are giving some first round picks too lol, like they are seriously not doing well at the moment. I feel like they are going to try and attempt at tanking for 2 years, which they still have draft picks of, and hope that works out.

I’m not sure LeBron wants to play in Cleveland. That’s far away from his home. I think the storyline aspect makes it interesting but in reality he will most likely not want to move across the country. That pretty much just leaves Golden State. As long as Draymond doesn’t resign a huge new contract there is still a chance.

Yeah the GSW scenario is the most likely thing we will see. Draymond already declined his player option for about 28 million so give the team some financial flexibility, so money wise the thing might work. Hopefully for GSW signing Bronny is not another stipulation for them, haha. They also want AD, right? That would cost them a lot as well.

If this all pans out we will see a pretty old team in the bay.

the lakers also said goodbye to the king. i’m curious to see where lebron will go next. it’s also unclear whether he’ll retire, since he’s almost 42. we need to consider how much playing time he’ll get with his next team and whether signing a contract with him makes sense. it feels like the eight years since he joined the lakers in 2018 have flown by.

Lebron had to go, probably Lakers fans are happy about it. But even if it was the right call it still hurts. personally i'm getting the exact same vibes as when Kobe walked away in 2016.
i wonder what the Lakers' rebuild is going to look like with Doncic, what's next for LeBron and if we'll see another superteam.

The King has left Lakers, yeah. But it's the best thing for both of them... You know that he wanted a max contract but it was impossible to do for Lakers!

He is a legend without doubt but at this age it's not much possible to get such contract from any team. It's said Warriors is targeting LeBron - AD both. Making a trio with Curry also could be interesting.

But I wouldn't expect a serious run for a championship from them.

I think perhaps what we speculate could come true, to go and work with another team, the Warriors. But let's see, as far as the Lakers go, it's obvious by now that Luka could be the next face of the franchise. The question is how Bronny will be with the Lakers, now that the influence of the older James is not there next season, maybe he could also be in the trading discussion.

Yes, how time flies, we could still remember them winning a ring during the bubble. But that team is solid, with AD and other pieces like Dwight Howard, Caruso.

yeah but Lakers gave Bronny James a contract yesterday and today Lebron announced he’s leaving. i’d like to think he didn't just wait around for his son to get that $2.5 million deal.

I saw that post from the Lakers and this is what I've thought of quickly. That before LeBron walked out of the Lakers, he's able to secure a contract for Bronny.

I also thought that he's going to wait for Bryce so that they'll reunite in the team but, that's no longer possible.

Anyway, it's interest to see what shall go with LeBron next. If it's going to be retirement or another trade.

Ja Morant was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers. I wasn't expecting this. Their very franchise player have been traded and that means that anyone who thinks that they're not going to be let go by their teams should have no confidence anymore. What do you think about Morant + Lillard? Will this give a go? they have mostly guards and only two centers which I think that their play will rotate around outside shooting.

Yeah, no one saw that coming. I guess it's mainly because of Ja Morant's injury history that the Grizzlies decided to trade him for Jeremy Grant and Kris Murray.
If Ja Morant were truly considered an untouchable franchise player, I don't think the Grizzlies would have traded him so easily. That's why I'm a bit unsure about how highly they still value him.
In my opinion, this is a win win trade. The Grizzlies get experienced players they need, while the Trail Blazers take chance on Morant's upside if he can stay healthy.
I also think that he won't be traded this early since he's still young but that's it. The Grizzlies want to reform and rebuilt their roster. Let's see how both teams will perform after this trade.

Well it has been reported as early last season that Ja Morant will be traded, he has issues with his coach that time if I'm not mistaken. I think still a good move by Portland to get to him and partnered with Lillard or to Deni Avdija.

No player is safe I guess, specially if you are not that healthy anymore, has previous run ins with the law or trying to be diva.

For Draymond, it's a good move for him to decline so that he won't get traded and could remain with the Warriors and can play with Lebron and AD if the plan materializes.
I didn't know that issue to be honest but that's probably have been the clue for this trade. And that's true that no player is no longer safe, I guess that this is the season that we see a lot of movement from all teams and makes it more exciting to see the next big moves and trades of every team.

Now that it's official that LeBron won't be with the Lakers next season, where do you think he'll sign this offseason?
There have been a lot of rumors lately and some reports say there's a good chance King James could end up signing with the Golden State Warriors. If that happens, I don't think it will be his final season. I'm pretty sure he'll still want to have one last retirement tour with the Cleveland Cavaliers. lol
What about you guys? What team do you think is the best fit for LeBron at this stage of his career?

There are few teams that will. Be okay for lebron, Heat, Cavs and GSW this are the teams that he might be playing so it mattersnmaybe on how much can they offer him, where do i think he has a chance for another ring it might be cavs and the heat, GSW might also have a chance but for me its slim unlike those two teams who only need leadership especially the cavs.
