Lebron is not offering success anymore, hasn't in a while, been like 2-3 seasons. He is promising merch sales and ticket sales and even match day income. The more people come, the more tickets you sell, the more beers and hot dogs you sell, and the more jerseys and shirts you sell.

So any team that gets Lebron, on the year he retires, and I bet this will be his last contract, will be a team that makes a lot of money. So offering Lebron just max, is not even enough, he deserves more than max, because whoever gets him on last year, will be making way more than what they are paying him. I would say Cavs would be the best choice too, I agree with that, he came as "king of akron" and he should leave like that as well.

Wizards are just burning money for nothing wishing that AD will be healthy this season. And even if AD become healthy I doubt he can be dominant given that there’s already lot of young athletes that can guard and dominate him.

Despite Davis being like that, they are still willing to invest money in him. So what does that say? It says they believe in him and in the players surrounding him, and they think the team can become a playoff team again.

I understand this team. They are gambling on Davis because they have been consistently tanking every season. With this move, they are looking for a big change.

Davis is already a champion and a player with playoff experience, so it is possible for them to reach the playoffs, or at least that should be their goal this coming season. If they achieve that, people will believe they made the right decision in giving AD a max contract.

For sure they are not competing they will just try to tank for the next season and add young players they are going to the playoffs, but they will also use AD as trade package other teams will try to get AD and get some juice out of him, and also he can still play but not the level before but still he has use, and that is what the wizard are going to do, with people going to trade for sure they will get the draft picks and then they will rebuild, but sadly wizard are not good at picking players they will messed things up for sure.

If they are okay with that then I also don't see any meaning for him to extend his thinking time for his next team. He already has history with Cavaliers.

I think Cavs is still the best choice, and max contract is not really an issue for them, they can literally ruin the whole team, get rid of everyone, and open up enough space to get Lebron if they wanted to, and they should. I felt really well in Cleveland and the team, being sent away yet again would be a hard pill to swallow. The disrespect toward him really is very sad. I don't expect to see LeBron in a competitive team for NBA championship anymore either. That's why teams like Wizards wouldn't surprise me if we see him there.

AD was traded to Wizards in February, and hasn't played a single match yet. In a world like that, I do not think signing him back for max makes any sense at all. He could request it, his agent will want that, but Wizards could just say no and let him walk.

After all, if they do sign him, what positives are there? He will barely play if any, and even when he plays he is not going to get you anything great neither. So him leaving would not be really end of the world for them and should not be a big deal. I think the best case for Wizards right now would be rebuilding, because they have a terrible team right now, and for rebuilding to work, they should not be getting players like AD at max contract, that's not a good idea.

I hope that it is true, Cavs is one of the homes of LeBron and he's remembered with the team. I think that if this is going to be an official, many would be happy to see him retire with the Cavs nation. Well, it's apparent that will be the case considering he got this sport so good during his tenure and when that comes to end the team will make sure to get a good amount of money. To not taint his career I probably choose Cavs too and besides he got some good reliable players beside him but still don't know if what could be the trade agreement on that yet, I hope it's not that of a disappointment, I agree keeping Mobley or Allen beside him if he goes there.

As what I know NBA didn't do any disciplinary action towards those situation happens and it seems they let it pass.

It seems that this commotions add spices on their upcoming match up and provably fans of both teams will be curious more to watch their game, especially when they meet up on court in next season.

If we look at Green and Poole incident NBA didn't impose penalty, but rather Warriors take action to penalize Green in that incident. But what's worst Pool is been traded after that situation happen.
