He might no longer be the player who can carry a team like he did before, but he knows he can still generate a lot of money. Even last season, his jersey was one of the best-selling jerseys in the league. It will probably sell even more once he announces his retirement. Ticket sales and jersey sales, etc, will surely increase. That's what he's bringing to a team, not prime LeBron, but his star power and business value. He knows that, and he understands the business side of the game.
This is absolutely true, we all know the clock has ticked and he’s no longer the LeBron we use to watch at his prime, but the name is still the same and his value never drops in the eyes of the fans, anyone signing him now is obviously more concerned about the club revenue other business deals he might add to the club. However he could still be a great addition to any team looking at his accuracy in throwing, he could actually put up a surprising performance most especially in a very tough and competitive match. Having great players in your team give this aura of confidence to other teammates.

He might no longer putting everything in the court but he can still score points even average big numbers, the only problem now is not being able to sustain longer playing time because of his age but on occasion he can still play heavy minutes as we saw in the lakers last season, outside the court also has greater value than other players in the league that is why even though he is not on prime some teams still lineup to get him that is also adding value to the team and business he can attract more investors.

LeBron have a very good and interesting business revenue, signing him will always bring a good and significant boost in any financial opportunity and also increase there revenue, coupled with endorsements and sponsorship deals which will be widely appreciated.
However I don’t think LeBron James have much to offer in the court now considering his age which is very important to consider while making a decision to sign him because it’s only go to be a different position while signing him there are so many factors to consider while signing LeBron.
The funny thing was, when Cavs got Lebron the second time, the owner of the team ended up buying all the locations near the stadium as well. Like shops, restaurants, even hot dog stands or whatever. Because he knew that, during the games, specially in playoffs of course, Lebron would get a lot of people, and it's not just about selling jerseys and hats and tickets and beers and nachos. It's about the fact that even outside of the stadium, people do hang around until the game time, so if you buy a cafe, and sell 100 more cups that day, you make more money. That is how much Lebron means to any economy.

That is how businessmen think. When they see an opportunity, they take it. They invested a lot when they signed LeBron, so naturally they would want to earn that money back in any legal way possible. Ticket sales are one of those ways because the arena is usually full whenever LeBron plays. That was true during his younger years, and I think it could still happen even if he is already older, especially if he returns to the Cavaliers. His homecoming alone would create a lot of excitement and bring fans back to the arena.

I think he's most likely going with the Cavs. It's even a meme when there's a voice call from Luke Kornet of Spurs that tells they also have a space for LeBron.
For me, it's either the Cavs or the Warriors. I don't think his other suitors, like the Sixers, Heat, Wolves, or Nuggets, will give him an offer that satisfies him. He might no longer be the player who can carry a team like he did before, but he knows he can still generate a lot of money. Not that the same anymore if it's about his performance although he can still play but no longer as athletic as before because of his age and every team knows about that. The legacy and privilege of where he's going to retire is what they're also trying to get. Being part of the team is what they're chasing for him before he finally retires and settles. Bron knows well in business and that's why he's still being chased by these teams regardless of what his conditions are.

The Cavaliers would definitely benefit from that. Imagine LeBron returning to Cleveland and eventually retiring as a Cavalier. Jersey sales would surely increase, and the excitement around the team would be huge. Even if LeBron is no longer the same player he was before, his presence alone would make people want to watch the Cavaliers. They call him “The King,” so it would really feel like the return of the king. I think they could even offer him a big salary because the revenue he could bring would be much higher. From a business point of view, LeBron may still be more valuable than Mitchell, at least in terms of popularity, ticket sales, and merchandise.

Also he's performance still good and wherever he go fans will follow then also that means more revenues will came. That's why despite of his age many teams still want to sign him. Although for now the contract he could get is much lesser compare to his past contract gotten, but he clearly stated he's not going after with money now and what he want is to win another title before he retire. He's legacy is already sealed and for sure that his name will continue to be mentioned in future even if he already decide to retire.

In fairness of his play style, I think that he can still play ball and has got a lot to offer. He's a good midrange shooter and sometimes in the three. Although the main feat right now is the revenue that he can bring to the team and the potential that they will end up in the playoffs. I think it won't matter to him anymore for as long as he can be with a team that can potentially get his final chip before retirement.
Yes he is still good because he has the experience and the skills during his prime but considering the amount he still getting paid while he doesn’t play too much aggressive these days are already equivalent to team main ace player. However, Acquiring Lebron is still gives a lot of benefits especially on the popularity of the team that will boost marketing presence. But on the match itself, he needs to be on a team that already has developed team to make his leadership and experience matter. I think if lebron is on the spurs the knicks would have not win the chip last season anyone agree? because of his leadership there is going to be a shift in the way the game is being played they would have change strategy and that will not fit on the system, at the same time lebron knows the knicks coach plays so it will always be against the system, he knows how to counter that, just saying, but still waiting where he will go, people are still waiting for the decision

LeBron is already at a similar stage to Kobe during his final years. Fans still watched Kobe even though he was no longer the same player after his injuries, and I think it will be the same with LeBron. If LeBron really wants to finish his career where it all started, then he should return to his true basketball home, the Cavaliers. They were his first NBA family, and Cleveland would surely welcome him back. He might even have one more championship run there. With Mitchell, Harden, and the young players around them, the Cavaliers would still have enough talent to compete.

That is right, he is no longer young, and a serious injury could possibly end his career. Even so, his game is not based only on being aggressive. If you look at his stats, he can still average more than 20 points per game with a decent number of assists and rebounds, and that is already impressive at his age. Actually, if LeBron played more at center, I think he could easily average a double-double. That could add another achievement to his career. Maybe we will even see that happen if he returns to the Cavaliers, who knows?

Lebron keeps pushing the limits of his body and also the limits of the NBA and the numbers, he is gonna keep collecting some more points assits blocks, steals and grow even more his stats, he is already a legend and he wants to become an even more bigger one when he is already the biggest one for some persons and the second one for the rest, that is why he is one of a kind and one of the best players ever.
That hunger at this age is crazy to see, i only saw this on Cristiano Ronaldo or Messi both keep playing also till their 40.

I only remember that there was one game that he didn't made 20 points but IIRC that's only for one game and it was like 10 or 15 points he's made. He can still average double double so the stats are still there and he's still reliable as a player and so, money matters for the team but they'll still get a lot of benefits for taking him. I can't wait which team he'd go.

Jonathan Kuminga in a Lakers uniform? But the Cavs are not going to let it happen easily. Cavaliers predicted to outbid Lakers for disgruntled $46M former Warriors NBA championhttps://sports.yahoo.com/articles/cavaliers-predicted-outbid-lakers-disgruntled-130842442.htmlNow, the Lakers are focused on finding the right replacement for LeBron James on the wing. Rumors have continued to swirl that Jonathan Kuminga and Los Angeles have mutual interest. "The Lakers aren't really in a position where they need to move quickly anymore. At this point, the team will have to do a sign-and-trade for Kuminga or any other player they acquire, so there isn't necessarily a rush. The Cavs have been heavily linked to Kuminga throughout free agency as well, so there is some rationale as to why he would wait," Silver Screen and Roll's Jacob Rude wrote. Well, it will be a great addition to the Lakers. That is a fact. They have Doncic and Reaves, and all they need are high flyers with some shooting capabilities, and those two can turn everything into an offensive play. I would like to see the Lakers pursue this, and it will give them a young core that is actually a championship roster. The Cavs don't have a good forward, and Mobley is like a center-type guy with a forward-type of play. They can use them both ways. But I think what they want is some speed, that's why they are taking Kuminga.

Yes, with his time running short for sure fans who really appreciate and admired him will follow to whatever team he'll going to play, I like that comparison as I use to remember Kobe during his last season, each time he play fans really appreciate especially that last game where he makes huge contribution and managed to turned the game for a win. With Mitchell and Harden they might established something though it's hard knowing that all of them wanted to have the ball, it will take some time to create good blend and chemistry but we never know till we see them playing together.

It's been really boring to follow LeBron rumours for a long time. There have been many trades this summer so far. But still we don't know where he will go or at least where he is closer to sign for... He can still do well in the same role he played at Lakers in his last year. But which team it will be? Cavs? Heat? Or a more unpredictable team? People must be even making bets on it like crazy lately.

Jonathan Kuminga in a Lakers uniform? But the Cavs are not going to let it happen easily. --- Well, it will be a great addition to the Lakers.
Kuminga will be a better fit with the Lakers, and there are some rumors where they really wanted to pursue him. Having more athletic players around Doncic is better, and that's how the Mavericks reached the NBA Finals a few years ago. The Lakers already have defenders, but they're lacking athletic guys, and adding Kuminga will at least fix that hole. The only problem with Kuminga is that he's more of an iso guy and don't know how to pass the ball, but he played way better when he's on Atlanta. TBH, Kuminga might fit in Cleveland as well, but if that happens then he will become a role player there. In the Lakers, he might be their starting small forward. Let's wait on where he will be landing. The Hawks opted out on his final year of his contract and now he's a free agent. Let's see how it goes. I'm having the same feeling as well that's why I'm not speaking that much anymore with regards to Lebron and the rumors. It's kind of boring and repeating already. Maybe the best thing that we can do right now is to just wait on which team will he be landing and from there, let's have another conversation around it, shall we?

They’re saying it is between the Cavs and 76ers. Most likely it is looking like the Cavs now as they are trying to work a deal to reunite LeBron and Kyrie in Cleveland. Everyone pretty much agrees though if he wants another championship the 76ers are the best bet.

But if the rumors is true then he could go back to the Cavs. Maybe they are just delaying that news until everything is set. For Kuminga's case, it is reported that Lakers is actively pursuing him. But Kuminga is asking above the mid-level as his agent thinks that Jonathan is worth more money. But it will take the Lakers to move DK and Vando in order to free some space for Kuminga.
