This is absolutely true, we all know the clock has ticked and he’s no longer the LeBron we use to watch at his prime, but the name is still the same and his value never drops in the eyes of the fans, anyone signing him now is obviously more concerned about the club revenue other business deals he might add to the club.

However he could still be a great addition to any team looking at his accuracy in throwing, he could actually put up a surprising performance most especially in a very tough and competitive match. Having great players in your team give this aura of confidence to other teammates.

Of course, there is no athlete that can win against Father time. But to be honest, if we compare Lebron with other greats that retire before him, he still has that hop in it and can score and his average as way above a player that has spend 20+ seasons in the NBA.

And he still has that drawing power, his jersey could be one of the most bought specially in the coming season as he will be playing on a different team. So he can draw crowds and himself can market so that where the team he chooses could be huge.

It's been really boring to follow LeBron rumours for a long time. There have been many trades this summer so far. But still we don't know where he will go or at least where he is closer to sign for...  Sad

He can still do well in the same role he played at Lakers in his last year. But which team it will be? Cavs? Heat? Or a more unpredictable team? People must be even making bets on it like crazy lately.

Supposedly from what I read the Miami Heat are off the table now. They’re saying it is between the Cavs and 76ers. Most likely it is looking like the Cavs now as they are trying to work a deal to reunite LeBron and Kyrie in Cleveland. Everyone pretty much agrees though if he wants another championship the 76ers are the best bet.

For what I read he have frustration on how Pat Riley handle their team before. Maybe Lebron didn't forget about what happen in the past then this will make him decide not to go on Miami.

Still there's no official words came out yet and I believe Miami still in discussion. But let's see on upcoming days since there are rumors that Lebron would finally announce on which team he choose to sign. But if it happens that Kyrie and LBJ will reunite on Cleveland then this is provably an epic event, although it doesn't mean that they automatically win a championship knowing they are already old and maybe injury prone to.

Yeah, right now, most of us might have lost interest on where Lebron is going. But if the rumors is true then he could go back to the Cavs. Maybe they are just delaying that news until everything is set.

For Kuminga's case, it is reported that Lakers is actively pursuing him. But Kuminga is asking above the mid-level as his agent thinks that Jonathan is worth more money. But it will take the Lakers to move DK and Vando in order to free some space for Kuminga.
I heard kuminga decline the offer and asking for a bigger one, could he be the next Dennis , why is he asking so much there are already offer for him, maybe he sign two year contract and an 1 year option but he needs to prove himself first because on other teams or from GSW he is not showing up, or they have not given him playing time, maybe he needs to do or score points and prove his worth in a team before asking too much, if he do better in the lakers they will actually retain him for sure with a bigger contract.

At age 41, on year 23 , dude scored 21 points per game, had 7.2 assists per game, and 6.1 rebounds per game, he had 51% field goal, and 32% from the three. I am sorry but we may never see anyone do that at year 23 ever again, first of all only a few "may" play 23 seasons in the NBA, most won't, I am not sure if we will see that many, but I think we will also not see anyone be better than him on their 23rd season ever again, that feels impossible.

So, him being on any team is helpful and Lakers will miss him dearly. Replacing him means that they need to get a superstar and there are no superstars left, I thought they may have tried to get Kawhi but they lost that battle too, now there is nobody else left for them to get.

That's the problem as he and his agent gamble with his fate is either he become the next Dennis  or maybe he might ends up like Austi where after proving his worth now he's enjoying the fruit of success after declining the Lakers offer and demand for much better contract, but similar to what you said, Kuminga needs to risk with short term contract then showcase everything that he got to demand for much better value once he already convince the team that he's worthy for the amount that he's asking for.

if he continue like this he might end up like him, they should really think about the current offers because by the time they realized its okay, the offer might be gone, and they might end up getting a lower offer like dennis, he is a great player no doubt but what the GSW did make her value shrink, i dont know why Kerr did it he might not like him in the first place, because to be honest he is doing well its just that kerr never give him a proper playing time, sometimes i think he is racist or something, they really need to make decision early before its too late.

If Lakers idea of replacing Lebron is getting Kuminga, they can basically just say "we are not interested in a championship, and we would love to let you all know" already and just not bothered by it, in fact lets not even spend that much, and get someone from the g-league, mgith as well just be bad as much as possible and save some money I suppose.

This is Lebron James we are talking about, sure he was 40+ years old, but we were right here just a few months ago when Doncic and Reaves were missing and he played all by himself to beat Rockets. I am sorry, but if they are not getting anyone decent, they may not get anyone at all and be better.

What I don't like the trade is that Kuminga is even asking for more, that's why he's left Warriors for that. They keep on negotiating with his contract and I won't be surprised if ever he's got a contract with the Lakers already and then expires and asks for more. There will be the next Dennis Schroder situation and I think that he's going to be one of them. LeBron for me is also the better choice in all terms of it since he's also willing to cut his pay.

True, the value of LeBron is still high in terms of generation of revenue. Not that the same anymore if it's about his performance although he can still play but no longer as athletic as before because of his age and every team knows about that. The legacy and privilege of where he's going to retire is what they're also trying to get. Being part of the team is what they're chasing for him before he finally retires and settles. Bron knows well in business and that's why he's still being chased by these teams regardless of what his conditions are.

The Cavaliers would definitely benefit from that. Imagine LeBron returning to Cleveland and eventually retiring as a Cavalier. Jersey sales would surely increase, and the excitement around the team would be huge. Even if LeBron is no longer the same player he was before, his presence alone would make people want to watch the Cavaliers. They call him “The King,” so it would really feel like the return of the king.

I think they could even offer him a big salary because the revenue he could bring would be much higher. From a business point of view, LeBron may still be more valuable than Mitchell, at least in terms of popularity, ticket sales, and merchandise.
Yeah, the Cavs merch will shoot up in sales particularly the number of LeBron that they're going to retire. And that's going to be a forever fever for the fans and would like to get it because they can put limited edition of it. If LeBron is trying to lessen his pay, what he can benefit from is through the sales and having some lifetime commission or whatnot.

No doubt with that since after all LBJ still the face of NBA. Also he's performance still good and wherever he go fans will follow then also that means more revenues will came.

That's why despite of his age many teams still want to sign him. Although for now the contract he could get is much lesser compare to his past contract gotten, but he clearly stated he's not going after with money now and what he want is to win another title before he retire. He's legacy is already sealed and for sure that his name will continue to be mentioned in future even if he already decide to retire.
That's nice of him of saying that he's not after the money. He's after the greatness before he retires, so he's setting himself of what he can still chase at his age before the time he leaves the league.

I mean what could he want at the age of 41, surely not for money he already have achieved a lot, his family is secure his sons are doing well in life, the only thing he wanted and i think every person or people in the world wanted is to cement their legacy or be remember nothing wrong with chasing rings because at the end of the day, its everyone's dream, if he retires winning or not, he will go down to one of the greatest player ever play the game, love or hate the man but he has achieved no one have ever done before and might not be break for a long time.

I don't think that this the whole idea of the Lakers to get Kuminga as a replacement, no one can replace LBJ simple as that. But I do agree that Kuminga might be thinking that he is a legit superstar, which is not. And I don't know why his agent keeps insisting that he should earn more than the mid-level that most of the players are getting. They should be proud that at least a team is still interested on him to sign and play.

So this is a new Lakers now, it's a new era and this will be Doncic all over again when he was still with the Mavs. He will lead this team and takes over and hope that there will be no injuries for him next season. But the thing is that the West is really stack up, so there will be a lot of great matches to see.

It's been really boring to follow LeBron rumours for a long time. There have been many trades this summer so far. But still we don't know where he will go or at least where he is closer to sign for...  Sad
---

Supposedly from what I read the Miami Heat are off the table now. They’re saying it is between the Cavs and 76ers. Most likely it is looking like the Cavs now as they are trying to work a deal to reunite LeBron and Kyrie in Cleveland. Everyone pretty much agrees though if he wants another championship the 76ers are the best bet.
Add Golden State to the mix because apparently, Shams said that the Warriors are the top destination for Lebron right now. I'll exclude the Sixers for now because it seems like Embiid's health is hindering him from joining there. The top 3 teams right now are Cleveland, Golden State and Miami, and I've said that I don't want to talk something Lebron-related, but whenever there's a new updated about it, I think it's best to have some opinion with it. Smiley

A Lebron-Kyrie trade is almost impossible for me just because of the salary of Irving and the other Cleveland players. I will ask you. If the Mavericks will trade Irving, what will be the trade package that for you will make the Mavericks satisfied on it? I don't see Harden being included in the package because he already opted out of his final year of his contract just to increase their chances of getting Lebron then they will trade him? That's an insult on him if you will ask me.

Looking at the top 4 teams right now, the Sixers has the highest odds of winning, but it seems like he doesn't want there. My top 2 picks right now are Cleveland and Golden State, and there are rumors where Lebron could still end up in the Warriors even though they didn't get AD.

if he continue like this he might end up like him, they should really think about the current offers because by the time they realized its okay, the offer might be gone, and they might end up getting a lower offer like dennis, he is a great player no doubt but what the GSW did make her value shrink, i dont know why Kerr did it he might not like him in the first place, because to be honest he is doing well its just that kerr never give him a proper playing time, sometimes i think he is racist or something, they really need to make decision early before its too late.

Indeed, though we might not what future might be for this your star as he got the height, talent and skillsets, just need proper guidance and a good minutes for his playing time, but just like what you've said chances to ends up like what dennis experience may happen to him as there are new rising stars and players who keeps on improving who can earned their contracts after performing so well, as we know that inside this industry you always needs to be at your best to secure your future, else, you might be forgotten even how good you are with a decent talent and skill but you can end up early without signing a contract.

Lebron doing yet another "decision" is so cliche and boring. If he left the Lakers, he should have done that by talking with whichever team he wants to go to, talk to them first and then leave, not leave and start talking, this makes no sense. Cavs or Miami or any other team?

We have no idea, hell he could end up at Washington and we have no clue. Okay maybe not that much, but still, this "let's wait and see who he ends up with" drama is so boring, dude you are 42 years old, stop with these boring cliches and go to any team you want. Why I dislike this? Because he doesn't let the teams know beforehand, so the teams can't arrange themselves accordingly, which results with him not having the best team built around him, since the team he goes to wasn't ready for him.

I think LeBron took too much backlash for his first decision announcement. Sure, it was dumb. He did donate all the money raised from it to charity though, and it was no small amount. So while I understand the hate for him seemingly wanting attention, it was for a good cause so I appreciated his effort.

At this point I suspect a lot of things are going on behind the scenes while LeBron weighs which moves will make him most competitive.

But it seems that plan is hard to happen for now, because Mavs want to keep Kyrie and they will try their duo with Flagg. Also there's no sign that Mavs want to acquire Harden so maybe this season that planned LBJ then Kyrie reunion will not going to happen.

Also on side of GSW for sure that there are lots of things happen on the background knowing that Green and LBJ always go out together. Also Green actively recruits Lebron so chances that LBJ will sign due to maybe friendship reasons might also happen to. But let see until this situation remain rumors then there's still no finality towards on where Lebron goes. This create lots of noise and I'm also excited to know on which team does Lebron will sign.

I understand the frustrations some fans have because of the prolonged LeBron decision 2.0, but I think there's a reason behind this. What that is, surely it's for the good of the business. We will never gonna see another 40+ years old player who's being chased by several teams in the free agency to play for them. Having him in a team is good for the business 100%, especially when being paired with another superstar like Steph. So, I was really starting to believe that he might going to end up with the GSW. A few important things to consider, including his properties in Cali. and it's pretty convenient for him and his family, plus he already has a good team for another title run.

It was reported that LeBron and his agent already have all the info about all the teams that are interested in signing him, and he's ready to make a decision anytime soon. Rumors are really strong about him going to GSW. But, I won't rule out what Chris Bosh said that he might end up on a team where we least expected. So, Washington is a real possibility.

If i were lebron ill take some time making a decision since this matters where he goes is what will be the turning point is he going to a team that he is sure a title chance is high or will he finish in the cavaliers where he started lots of things are going on in his mind for sure but whenever he goes for sure everyone will have something to say, like the haters, while the fans, and people who are neutral will agree in the decision that he will make, but lets not forget that he is already a legend, no matter what the decision is.

Adam Silver addresses NBA expansion, Kawhi Leonard investigation & more
https://www.nba.com/news/commissioner-adam-silver-addresses-media-2026-nba-summer-league

Quote
“I’m sure I’ll be asked about a potential expansion franchise in Las Vegas,” NBA commissioner Adam Silver told reporters early in his news conference Tuesday. “But I’m fond of saying we already have a franchise here and it’s the Summer League. It’s in essence operated as our 31st team for 22 years, so it’s quite remarkable.

“I think back in the day when other leagues weren’t doing business with Las Vegas, we were here with our Summer League. So again, to [co-founders] Warren [LeGarie] and Albert [Hall], just an amazing accomplishment over the years.”

Quote
“I really appreciate what we’re seeing so far, so it’s very encouraging. No votes have been taken yet. We’ve got a ways to go in terms of discussions with interested parties, but I’m optimistic about the future here.”

So that's a "No." for now with the Las Vegas franchise. There may be some delicate things that must be discussed, and the balance of the league, too. If they add one to the East, there should also be one more for the West. It will be tough.
The WNBA, on the other hand, made it happen to add new franchises. Toronto Tempo and Portland Fire. But it's because they are not using the East versus West format anymore. It's the top 8 that are going directly to the playoffs.
There's a big difference, so this is not something that can be done in a year. Perhaps next season.
