I preferred Lebron over those 2 when it comes to playoff reliability.
Of course, they are nowhere near the same level. LeBron may not be as clutch as Kobe or MJ, but he can still be consistent throughout the game. Even when he struggles on offense, he can still contribute in other areas like rebounding, playmaking, and defense. Unlike James Harden, and probably Mitchell as well, LeBron is not usually a liability on defense. There are many players who are great offensively but weak defensively, while LeBron has always been more well-balanced. But just to be clear, I still do not consider him the GOAT. That is only my opinion. I have always said the same thing, if you want a "last shot", or "one game to decide the future of the world against the aliens" then I would pick MJ or Kobe. They had such higher prime, their "best" is better than anything Lebron can bring, there is no doubt about that. Best day of MJ vs Best day of Lebron, I would go with MJ all day long. In fact, for me the "best" of the best like on their prime who was the greatest basketball player of all time is actually Shaq, because he was sort of like a cheat code, give him the ball and you get a guaranteed basket or he had to be fouled, imagine a player so good that you had to foul him, otherwise he would score, there is no alternative. However, among all of these, you have to realize, Lebron played at this level for 23 years! No player has ever reached this level, MJ has like maybe 8-9 seasons around the top, Kobe maybe has 13-14 at best, he was injured many times and last years were gone. Only player who gave this much level of career is Lebron, nobody else got even remotely close.

Damn, LeBron with Embiid and Brown? That could be a dangerous team in the East. As long as they stay healthy, they can really compete. This is getting interesting. I thought LeBron would return to Cleveland, but if what you are saying about Philly is true, then it makes me think he is really looking for a serious championship contender.

With Brown and, if ever, LeBron, that would definitely be a huge boost for the Sixers. But right now, I'm not going to guess anymore where he'll end up. LeBron has been very tight-lipped about his future, and I don't think he's the type of person who would give obvious clues. I believe he's chasing more than just money. He's also chasing his fifth ring before retirement. If his main goal is to make a deeper playoff run, I think moving to the Eastern Conference gives him a better chance. For me, the Heat or the Sixers would be better destinations than the Cavs. Those two teams seem to have a better opportunity to compete for a championship.

Until it becomes official, that is the only time we can really make a conclusion. For now, everything is still speculation, and of course, fans will always imagine LeBron going to the team they support. For me, it could only be Cleveland or Philadelphia. Cleveland is more likely because he already made his name there, while the Sixers would only be my second choice. Regardless, the teams rumored to be interested in him are already championship contenders, or could become championship-caliber once LeBron joins them.

Well I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to the Sixers, I mean he has experience working with super teams so most likely if that happens then we should just go with it. Maybe Lebron is just waiting for the World Cup to end before announcing it. In any case, whatever team he goes, most likely that one might have a better chance to win the finals. It could be that the team is already good and might just need a good leadership like Lebron.

There are 4 most likely teams discussed for LeBron's next place: - Cavaliers - 76ers - Heat - Warriors Still it's so hard to make a prediction though as 4 alternatives is too much. 76ers would be really great thinking of Jaylen Brown and Embiid there. They can make a great trio. Cavaliers would also be nice but Warriors sounds really interesting. Curry - LeBron have made a great duo in Olympic Games so far. Lastly, I don't think Heat will get him. If Giannis didn't go there I'd see the chances much higher.

"The NBA would have to give them 60 nationally televised games," Paul said of Golden State. "I'm being sarcastic, but…at least half, if not, more."
Rich Paul says the NBA would have to give the Warriors 40+ nationally televised games if LeBron joins Steph Curry And then Steve Kerr also said this. Earlier this week, head coach Steve Kerr told a fan: "We got him." The video posted to social media quickly became a viral moment as speculation swirled with Golden State's involvement in the race for James. Edit: forgot to put the SourceSo who knows maybe they already made a deal and LBJ choose to join on GSW for show purposes. But until there's no confirmation happen, well its expected that people would continue to speculate and talk about other possibilities on where LBJ would finally sign.

Rich Paul will not announce where lebron go , surely lebron will be the one to announce this, and its now a waiting game.

The words “we got him” being reported in the news make me think it could be LeBron. For a while, I thought the Sixers or Cavaliers were the strongest candidates, but now it seems like LeBron might want to join the team that dominated him in the past. Maybe he believes he can win another championship there. I also believe he is good friends with Draymond, so they could already have good chemistry if he joins the Warriors.

However, defense was the problem that Harden had since start of his career, it is not even about just ability, dude didn't even want to defend, he literally let people by, and Lebron is 32 years old, he would not be able to defend and lockdown someone neither and Mitchell is not known for his amazing defense neither. In a build up like that, Cavs would get 120 points dunked on them every game.

Harden doesn't defend his opponents well and he can't have a great number of points on average like before. He isn't a big use for Cavaliers right now. This is why I would also love to see LeBron there to add more to the team. Maybe he isn't young anymore but I'm quite confident that he will play his role really well. That would be a good move to play bigger in their conference as well next season.

Even before, he was never really a good defender, but he became popular because he was very good at drawing fouls from defenders. At one point, he was getting a huge number of free throws in a season, so there is no doubt that he was a legitimate offensive threat. But now that the rules have changed and he is getting older, his production has dropped, while his defense has become even worse. LeBron is still the better all-around player compared to him, even though LeBron is older. So I am sure many fans would be happy if he were replaced by LeBron.

Do you think that Embid, LeBron, Brown is going to help Philadelphia 76ers win the NBA title. I don’t really see anything special in that Duo considering the age of LeBron James, and Embid, as a fan of the NBA I’m mostly interested in seeing a young team and young players to be given more opportunity the same way that Wemby is given the opportunity with the Spurs Team. They would definitely compete in the Eastern Conference, but I doubt that team makes it to the playoffs Finals in the next NBA season. Let’s see if he moves to Philadelphia 76ers, for now I believe it’s all speculations.

Harden does create his own shots and I don't think that he will be a catch and shot player. He will have to take the ball and dribble more and even if Lebron will pass him more often, I don't know but he won't make that shot. So for me it's a bad marriage, and we all know that Harden chokes on playoff just like Mitchell. Maybe Lebron can bring them to the playoffs if he goes to the Heat, but it's very hard for them come playoff time.

But in Miami it was totally different with the position with Dwade and Chris Bosh. But if he joins the Cavs again, they are almost the same position with Mitchell and Harden. So that alone might be a conflict and someone will have to give-in or have to adjust. And then the issue with Harden not playing defense might be a thing with Lebron as he wants his team mates to play defensively. You can see his frustrations when he was with the Lakers and his team mates not playing defense like Ayton or even Austin Reaves.

Harden could benefit from Lebron, because while Harden does like to keep the ball and dribble to create his shot, if he didn't had to, if Lebron could do that for him and get him open, then Harden would have a lot better efficiency as well and he would love that.
That's what I think as well. Harden's playstyle isn't like Klay Thompson back when he's on GS where he's a catch-and-shoot guy. Harden's more of a iso type of player who makes that double step-back to gain space. Harden's a good passer as well don't get me wrong, but the problem with him is when the playoff comes. You can rely on him during the regular season, but at the biggest stages, he will just play like a mediocre player who can't even defend at all. We don't know TBH if the big 3 of Harden, Mitchell and Lebron will benefit the whole team. Heck, we don't even know if Lebron will really go back to Cleveland to play his FINAL season. I just hope that these "Lebron topics" will end now because right now, we don't hear anything from anybody, and all are focusing on Lebron and his decision. Even Adam Silver is waiting for him. Ironic, right?

I understand the argument on Lebron James joining team to form a superteam. But in Miami it was totally different with the position with Dwade and Chris Bosh. But if he joins the Cavs again, they are almost the same position with Mitchell and Harden.
LeBron can adjust. With his height and strength, I wouldn’t be surprised if he played center. The team would probably do everything possible to fit him into whatever position he wanted to play. After all, if he were there, I’m pretty sure he would still be one of their best players.
There’s nothing to worry about. Like I said, they will make adjustments for LeBron, and whatever he wants, he will probably get. He would be very important in making the Cavaliers popular again, bringing in more viewers and support, and generating more revenue for the franchise.
