The Clippers reportedly offered LeBron James a $20 million dollar contract to pair him with Kawhi and keep him in Los Angeles. Obviously LeBron decided to take significantly less money to take his talents to Philadelphia and try to win a championship. Probably the right choice.
And it's probably out of respect to the Lakers, of him going to the Clippers. It doesn't make sense at all, it will be just him and Kawhi. So it's a good decision for Lebron to take less money and take his talent somewhere is like in Sixers wherein he is more appreciated and the players surround him are that good. No offense to the Clippers organization, they have the money, but not sure how they can't built a good to decent team. Except PG and Kawhi and that's it, now they are in a totally rebuilding again. Maybe this is the reason why Lebron didn't grab the offer of Clippers https://sports.yahoo.com/article/kawhi-leonard-reportedly-didnt-want-031137089.html?fr=sycsrp_catchallSo there's no sense for him to team up with the player who ignore them before. Also Clippers is not fit on what Lebron wants, that's why its not surprising that he ignores them. Lebron clearly says he's not chasing money, but rather want to try again to win a championship and would sign on a team that can possibly give what he wants. This is the main reason why he join on Sixers, their current roster is stacked and championship ready.

I've read that Russell Westbrook is struggling to find a new team for himself these days. And the there is some interest rising for him from Euroleague teams according to my source. Source: https://basketnews.com/news-252761-russell-westbrook-is-reportedly-drawing-interest-from-euroleague-teams.htmlHe is 37 now. His statistics have been on the decline in the recent years which is natural. Even his last team Sacramento Kings doesn't want him anymore I guess... In the previous years a Euroleague team got interested in him again but he didn't want to leave the USA. Do you think he'd consider it seriously now?

Well, that's because he doesn't have minutes anymore. Playing time is what made him more dangerous back in the day, and now that he is not the main focus of a team, the stats will definitely decline. 25-26 Kings - 64 games played, 29 mpg, 15 ppg, 5 reb, 6 ast. It's not actually that bad. If he is playing the second stringers, he will contribute more than putting some new guy to lead them. He might need to wait before deciding to go to the Euroleague. Some teams are just fixing their main roster first before signing players for the second stringers.

I think WB can still ball with any team, few seasons ago, he was playing with Denver and as we can see him and Jokic has somewhat a good chemistry as there are game highlights of them passing the ball between them. So not sure why teams are not interested on WB, yes, his scoring might decline, but he is a electric player that coming off the bench, he might give the team some boost. Maybe thru his passing and assists and not on pure scoring. I don't know if he considers Euroleague, but if the offer is good then why not? We've seen former NBA players thrive on Euroleague, as if they have a second wind in their careers.

There is a news that holiday will be buy out by the blazers, if that happens the sixers will try to pursue him and that makes the sixers a powerhouse in defense and offense, they are already upgraded when lebron came now they will try to add another player.

I cant seem to find the news, would you mind putting a link we can verify? News and rumors are different, probably its just a rumor, but its still nice if you will also put some source or reference.

This is one of the sources.. https://www.reddit.com/r/sixers/comments/1vab3lz/reports_suggesting_the_portland_trail_blazers/It’s only a Reddit discussion, but they attached some proof, and it looks like it came from Polymarket Hoops. If I understand it correctly, there may already be a prediction market about where he will end up. One outcome is that he joins the Sixers, while another is that he stays with the Blazers and the buyout report turns out to be just a rumor. Still, a Polymarket market is not confirmation by itself. It only shows what traders currently believe based on the information available, and the odds can change quickly once a reliable reporter gives an update.

--- He is 37 now. His statistics have been on the decline in the recent years which is natural. Even his last team Sacramento Kings doesn't want him anymore I guess... In the previous years a Euroleague team got interested in him again but he didn't want to leave the USA. Do you think he'd consider it seriously now? When a NBA player doesn't have any offer, they usually accept offers overseas and with the caliber of Westbrook, I still believe that despite his age and declining stats, he can still average like 10-15 PPG or even 20 PPG if he plays overseas. I mean you also said that there are still many teams who wants him to play for them, and if I'm Westbrook's agent, I might just try and have a peak at those offers especially if you already know that there's no team that has interest on getting your client. I also saw that there's no other team in the league right now that doesn't want him, and probably that's because of the declining stats, and maybe other teams will just prefer a younger role player than a 37-year old player like him. There is a news that holiday will be buy out by the blazers, if that happens the sixers will try to pursue him and that makes the sixers a powerhouse in defense and offense, they are already upgraded when lebron came now they will try to add another player.

This is the most legit article that I can see online. It's from Sports Illustrated itself. https://www.si.com/nba/trailblazers/onsi/should-portland-trail-blazers-trade-jrue-holiday-before-opening-nightThose are just rumors, and I don't also think that the Blazers will trade their legit defender for draft picks. He's also a good leader to any team that he goes, and right now he's maybe mentoring Avdija to become a better player so I don't see any reason why the Blazers will trade him. Of course if there will be a trade where the Blazers will not say "NO" to it then that might be possible, but right now, those are just hearsays and predictions coming from different NBA Fans.

I’m just curious why that speculation even started if the Blazers really have no interest in trading him. Usually these rumors don’t come from nowhere, so maybe there is something happening behind the scenes. We never really know how the team views him now, especially if they are starting to question whether he is still the right leader for their future. He’s not getting any younger either, and his trade value may already be dropping. So if Portland is thinking about moving him, doing it sooner probably makes more sense than waiting until they can no longer get a good return.

I think a small market uncompetitive team where he can still get triple doubles is where he needs to be. Sacramento, Charlotte maybe… He can still be a side show.

I feel like there have got to be teams willing to sign him for decent money just because of the ticket and jersey sales he would bring with him. I don’t see him signing to a contender for the minimum but maybe a failing team that is willing to pay him a little bit just to have his name on the roster.

Never been a fan of him, but he did have some decent years back in the day. Last year he said he wouldn’t as he viewed it as a sign of disrespect. I feel like there have got to be teams willing to sign him for decent money just because of the ticket and jersey sales he would bring with him. I don’t see him signing to a contender for the minimum but maybe a failing team that is willing to pay him a little bit just to have his name on the roster. Even Lebron only got 8 million. Sure some team might be dumb enough to offer him something better, but do you really thing someone gonna say hey here's 30 million a year to be our bench guy? If he was 5 years younger he might command that price, but at thi s age and with his stats declining I just don't see a big contract. I have been wrong before though.

If he can't sign with an NBA team this year, then I think it's time for him to retire. Like you said, he's already 37 years old. Although I think he had a decent season with the Sacramento Kings, I'm sure most NBA teams feel that he's no longer the player he used to be. If a EuroLeague team offers him a good contract, then maybe he'll consider accepting it. Otherwise, retirement is probably his best option. At this point, he can just enjoy the money he's already earned throughout his career.

I think the Kings were a good fit for him. They benefitted from his star power and he got to put up stats on a team that wasn’t expected to do anything. I think a small market uncompetitive team where he can still get triple doubles is where he needs to be. Sacramento, Charlotte maybe… He can still be a side show. Yeah right, He had a $3m+ one year vet minimum with the Kings last year, I don't see any better deal coming his way than that at this point of his career if he wants to continue playing in thr NBA. I also don't think any team would be willing to pay him more than the vet minimum just because of jersey sales. Only his loyal fans are willing to buy it at this point. LeBron is just on another level. The season hasn't even started yet, but he already made an economic impact, breaking Ohtani's jersey sale after switching teams. The $8m 2 year deal was his personal choice (chasing the 5th ring) , he could have sign with the Clippers for a 1yr 20m deal.

Exactly, His playing style is not fit as backup player since he spend most of his career leading a team and adjusting for him. He is too inconsistent while fans relying the most on his name that he will provide a better performance to support the team which is not working since he got wasted after his OKC glory days. I doubt he will take an offer outside US regardless of the offer since his pride is on the line. Even Dwight Howard just keep showing interest on joining NBA even already playing overseas. They just hate the downgrade. lol

I wouldn't expect NBA stars to come to Europe and play basketball. Rotation players, or those who haven't quite reached their full potential, return to Europe and play in the Euroleague with the capacity to lead their team to a championship. But we've never seen a player like Westbrook return to Europe. He doesn't have the ambition to make money, nor does he have the goal of winning a European championship. He was already one of the most valuable players in the NBA, having been part of the legendary OKC team; it would be a huge mistake to expect him to have the ambition of returning to the Euroleague. Even if he doesn't get any offers, he'll find a team to sit on the bench and then retire

I didn’t see any rumor about that, at least not from the sources I follow. But looking at his numbers last season, around 15 points, 5.4 rebounds and 6.7 assists, it’s surprising that no team seems interested yet. I think he may even be willing to accept a veteran minimum just to stay in the league. At that price, it feels like a low-risk signing for any team that needs another ball handler. Unless teams believe those stats no longer translate to real impact, or there are other concerns we don’t
