I was just lurking around bitcoin IRC channel and i just saw in the info that they said "WARNING: bitcoin.com is scammy" . So, just wanted to know that who all are the mods of that IRC channel?
And what are the reasons for which they have said that bitcoin.com is scammy?

Are we sure that are actual people and not some random bots? and anyway i think the mods must know what is going on the IRC because if continues it can harm.

It weren't the people who said this. This was officially written in the channel info by some mod/admin. The mods know about this and they must have had a reason to write this.

Then if what you are telling is right there 2 possibilities.

1) One of the mods/admin account got hacked and because of that the message appeared
2) The IRC channel staff becamed supporters of XT and refuse to consider Core as usefull but as a malware (On this one i have my doubts)

But from when is so anyway? because if is from a short time the first possibility is plausible otherwise if both my theories are wrong i don't know why (At the end Bitcoin Core doesn't have any kind of virus i suppose otherwise who knows)

bitcoin.com is different from bitcoin.org. bitcoin.org is the "official" site which is really the go-to place to get information on trusted wallets and info for developers and merchants regarding bitcoin core. bitcoin.com is privately run by Roger Ver, and there has been some issues with bitcoin.com due to some disputes between Roger and OKCoin regarding the website.

I have heard other people talking bad about bitcoin.com as well. I just see it as another a blog/forum website.

Yeah same for me... nothing that could indicate something that can be used to list it as a scam or try to phising... maybe is just an illusion we have or who knows...
