I knew there used to be a site where you could play Backgammon, battleship and monopoly and other stuff for coins.  Are there any still out there and are safe and legit that you can use and play?

Lots of them! Few I can think of are Snake's and Ladder ,Chess and Monopoly .No sure which websites host them but I have seen recently on the couple of posts in the "SERVICES" section of the forum.Be careful while playing such games because they algorithms are AI based and there are very few chances of humans beating them.

Thanks,

I was more looking for some heads up play where maybe the house takes a small cut or something per game.  I would rather not play AI if I have the option to just because of the algorithms you mentioned.

There's site called Gambit.com and you can play board games there and it's PvP, I use to spend some time there a long time back but haven't been there in ages, so can't say how active it is now, but you can check it out and see if you can play some games.

Thanks for the responses.  Gambit doesn't allow bitcoins at their site anymore plus I found that site rather fishy to be 100% honest.

Bitcasino.io has no board games that I could found and no games listed under multiplayer, not sure if that is what I am looking for.

There are no big and well known sites at the moment that will let you play board games for Bitcoin; if you want to play a PvP game look around this forum, there are a few, for example chopcoin.io, which is agar.io for bitcoins.

Mines? If you haven't yet played agar(chopcoin is the bitcoin version of it) yet, you're in for some adventure mate, and some addiction as well.

Yeah I played at both sites.  In Chopcoin you can send mines into players causing them to burst, not sure how to do it at all but I was enjoying it, even won twice!

Virus is the correct term though, agar is something like a bacterial game. It hints at the microbiological nature of things, anyway getting too technical over a fun thing here. To make copies of virus, send your mass into it with "W"

Board games are not great for gambling since people use advanced bots and what not to cheat, take online chess for example, be it chess.com or FICS, they're filled with cheats and which is why people will never put money on online board games because if cheaters know that there is a chance to win BTC, they'll put extra effort to make unbeatable engines.

As I remember there is a site which has a backgammon game named coinxerox.com
You may check the site but I'm not really sure if the site is still active and paying or not. So do with your own risk Wink

Yeah thats true.  I guess I didn't really think about that.  blah sad when money gets involved people tend to cheat and try anyway possible to win.  I just think it would be fun to play for a small amount of coins like backgammon or games around those lines.

Since my game chopcoin.io was mentioned here I just want to let you know that we just recently released a big update with a multiple of new features and a total of three ways to earn/win Bitcoin. Also the user interface is pretty sleek so please check it out and check the FAQs for further information. Cheers!

It would be really good if a big and trusted gambling site starts offering board games for players to play against each other using bitcoins, I could remember the good old days when I am playing monopoly with my friends during school time, it was really fun with the trading of land deeds with each other in the game, but I don't think there are any gambling sites at the moment that are offering board games to play for bitcoins.
