If it was not confirmed it is possible that the network forgot about the transaction. Which wallet/service do you use? Bitcoin core would rebroadcast it to prevent that.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

It is possible if you sent the transaction with no fee or there is a very small input/output then the network will drop your transaction after 2-3days and the coins will be returned to you as like no transaction happened

Transactions disappear because they have stayed in the mempool for too long and the node decides to drop it and hence it seem like it hasn't been spent before. It don't happen all the time and depends on which client you use and whether a third party or yourself rebroadcasts it.

yes i think so, usually networks drop your tx if there isnt a sufficient fee, this takes around 3-5 days imo, althogh ive never had a dropped trasaction myself.

Saying completed do you mean confirmed? AFAIK it is impossible for a confirmed transaction to be reverted/canceled. Or maybe you are referring to a ghost transaction due to malleability attack

ive only ever heard of transactions not going through when the sender doesnt provide a sufficient fee. couple months ago i sent a tx with 0.000001 as fee and it was still confirmed in like 2 days, so i think its possible for money to revert back but highely unlikely
