I found someone selling bitcoins in cheap prices. I'm about to buy some using paypal but he is asking me to send the money first. So will escrow protect me if he is a scammer? Both me and the seller are not in US, still will escrow help or if escrow doesn't support paypal transactions in other countries than US. Can I still file a dispute and get my money back if I got scammed? Thanx

Edit :- It seems that escrow only support paypal transaction which both buyer and seller are US residents.

Well you should ask the escrow about his paypal account.
Where is he from, does it has the paypal verified, is he able to send money etc..
If the escrow is untrusted then you are going to be scammed.

If you're the buying BTC using Paypal, a trustable escrow would protect you from the seller not sending your BTC. However, no escrow would be beneficial towards the seller as the buyer can chargeback. Vice versa. You can file a dispute but it is not garunteed to succeed as (IIRC) PayPal does not protect transactions associated with cryptocurrencies.

I don't know it can help you. Local Bitcoins has an option for this. You will interact directly with another seller.

OP is the one paying for BTC with PP.
@OP this is the second thread asking for the same thing, nevertheless if the other person is surely a scammer or someone who still doesn't know that PP is highly reversible. Just withdraw it to your bank and buy BTC from either cash or Interac transfer or something like that.

It's simple, you send money and 99% you will get scammed. Why would someone sell BTCs cheaply and under the market price if he can get more money elsewhere?

Only way you will get protected is if he sends first which he probably won't do by saying that you can always chargeback or if you use an escrow (he sends coins to the escrow) but I doubt he will do this as well.

What is the best options to recharge my PayPal account just by using Bitcoin? I have heard that PayPal is very unfriendly towards BTC and that if they find out about these deals they will most likely freeze your account. any ideas?

Yes. Satoshi and I have an idea. Spend bitcoins instead of PP.
