Welcome to the ClickCoin takeover ANN thread!

November 13 2015 - ClickCoin wallet MANDATORY update - ver. 1.2.0.3
Please update ASAP!

- About:

ClickCoin was started as Yobit ICO. Only 225000 out of 1000000 coins were sold, the rest was burned by Yobit. The original dev abandoned the coin.
Now CLICK is taken over by the community, old development fund address with 245000 user donated coins has been blocked via hardfork so old dev has no control on any significant CLICK amount anymore.

The new CLICK team is:
noise23: Development
Kostolany, Jr.: Marketing and PR

Short term steps (1 – 3 weeks):
 - wallet code review, updated wallet. No changes in staking. (Done - new wallet release is already out).
 - new website clickcoin.click (Website is up, under development)

Midterm steps: (3 – 5 weeks):
 - new strategy for Clickcoin. We have some nice ideas already, we discuss it right now, pls.
give us a few week for that ;-)

- Specifications:

Code: CLICK
Mining: Pure Proof of Stake
PoS reward structure:
   block 02000 - 250 CLICK per block
   block 20016000 - 125 CLICK per block
   block 600114000 - 62.5 CLICK per block
   block 1400130000 - 31.25 CLICK per block
block 30000+ - 10 CLICK per block (current)
Min/Max stake age: 4 hours / 30 days
Block time: 2 mins
Maturity: 5 blocks
P2P port: 36352
RPC port: 36353

Hello everybody,
as noise23 said, I’d do marketing and PR for Clickcoin.

In first weeks we don’t aim for any big announcements or new users acquisitions. We realize, that image of Clickcoin right now is “not so great” (ICO, orig. dev disappeared with mktg. funds) and that it will take some time to change that. Time and effort. But I think we can succeed. We have a great dev now (look how beautifully he restarted Truckcoin ;-)

We work on new strategy for Clickcoin right now, hopefully we would be able to present it to community in one or two months.

Thank you, we will keep you updated,
Tom

This is a good coin to keep alive. The name alone is worth giving it a try.

Good news guys. Can we now calculate a real amount of coins here? I see from Block Explorer that c81P34RRjGEEbweXYAEPJjR1St94Z6am86= 245126.14 Clicks(№1 in Richlist) and c8xtGJjiJTHsaSEh9r8JyjzyK99gdaFYD=102403.06(№3 in Richlist) not changing their amounts of coins long time,so that adresses not staking all that time. How i think one of them its a Yobit Exchange adress but i can do a mistake here anyway they both have a funds more than 10% of total coins(exactly more than 15%). For what im start to talk about that, because its would be much more than positive for new investors to know much more information about adresses which have a huge amounts of CLicks on balances and can dump Click on exchanges.

I think it is this...

2,266,419 (total supply) - 774,840 (burnt coins) = 1,491,579
3041280.00000000(information from my ClickWallet debug console) - 774.840 = 2266440 Clicks on that moment.

Good to see the coin is with the right Dev.

Well on the past weeks there were tons of new coins and of course some of them doesn't survive even 2 months, if you go to see bit1 thread about the coin launched last month you will see that almost all of them are being considered dead

Exactly. I have even seen coins with malware in wallets...Unless there is a rule to stop newbie's creating threads with wallet announcements, the saga continues...

well you're right, if there will be a change to the rules that blocks newbies to creating threads in the accouncement sub-forum all the scam/malware coins will disappear but at the same time i think that the making of new altcoins will require more time and because of that added time the coins will be considered all premined

HIVE (hmm, forum deleted... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1194096.0,) was a nasty shit.
People reported coins stolen from exchanges as malware was remotely controlling their PC  Sad
Definitely there should be barriers for newbie accounts.
