I want to buy 0.4 bitcoins and I will pay with PayPal. I have 4.48 USD left on my CC that is going to expire soon and I'm not going to extend the partnership with that bank. My bitcoin address is 1Pb24EriZLWtZAvAREZGgTFooK682NW7nm so everyone can see the seller paid me.

Send the PayPal payment address in PM.

you have a deal

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

It seems to me, more and more, that quick trades with trusted peers is the only reason I still end up using my old paypal account.

Here's to the day that I can safely close that account altogether.

This is true. PayPal have fees when sending gift payments from Europe to US. There was 0.47 $ fee that I paid with my other balance. Compared to this even 0.003 BTC fee that is considered huge for single transaction is nothing.

The problem is that PayPal is needed to trade on eBay. If more large businesses start to accept Bitcoins as a payment method the other old school methods will die out.
