This thread is already pretty long, so we decided to close the contest and announce winners!

We're still not sure if we can use these names, but I and Stick like both Piglet and Oink.

caffeinewriter, Mushroomized, can you send me your bitcoin addresses to PM? I'll send you both 1 BTC.

Thanks  Cheesy Cheesy

I think you should use the name piglet for the device, and oink for the software.

Oink was used from Kevin Rose ,the app (name Oink) was shutting down

Supporting people with beautiful creative ideas. Bitcoin is because of the developers, exchanges, merchants, miners, investors, users, machines and blockchain technologies work together.

I know it was also some bittorrent tracker or so. It actually doesn't matter, because almost any combination of common letters has been already used for something...

Good one!
Oh, and it fits nicely to your avatar too ;-)

Ok, I already know this contest was just to distract us and buy some time - where is my piglet already? :-)

I have another two proposals:

Tresor / Trezor

Do you like it? Which version do you like more? Do you have any association with the brand name? Please also write down what's your native language, because your associations may depend on it.

The brand name shoud associate security, reliability, something safe, not easy to break, strongness, power. It can also associate money, treasure, things of high value or lock, key, chain. It should feel strong, safe and reliable, heavy, secure. Not funny, not light, not portable. It should differentiate from other bitcoin related brand names (no “bit”).

Tresor makes me immediately think about http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TRESOR - perhaps just because I'm a crypto freak though  Grin

Trezor is better, imho.

In all honesty, it does sound a bit like a cheap cell phone. Or an "As Seen On TV" product.

What about Bitcoin Savings and Trust? Oh wait... Roll Eyes
