Is there any accurate dollar amount that he used for sex? He stole millions but I doubt he spent more than tens of thousands on hookers.

I have not found any figures on how much he allegedly spent on prostitutes, but the four-poster bed he allegedly bought with embezzled money cost $48000. Considering he "lost" 600k Bitcoins he could afford the classiest high class prostitutes in the world. If he paid for private jets to get them to Japan from the four corners of the world then the figure could be way more than the mere $48000 his bed cost. Alternatively he might have paid the going rate at the nearest massage parlor, in which case your no more than tens of thousands figure is more feasible.

This is the example of the misuse of the anonymity of Bitcoin.
We can't hold them to do this, but we can make it better by not doing the same thing.

I just wanted to say the same thing. It's impossible to wish somebody to go to jail especially if the person has done no physical harm to anybody, but Mark gets on my nerves by what he is doing a lot.

It was the only last thing that misses to Karpeles. Now its bucket is full with feats. Remain only to count those and to convert (in the right proportion) in jail years. And then even double those. Having in mind all the people who lost their wealth because of him this is the minimum to be made.

He could've given to charity, but no. He gave 'em to sluts.

Bitcoins can be traced, but finding out who own them now, and now to get it back is different story. If they remains unused we could never be able to recover anything.
But now I think that authorities simply don't know how or don't want to solve this case.

When a person has excess amount of money will do anything like this. That is the reason still it's too hard to earn money in this world to make everything normal in this world. He must a bad example for bitcoin world how a man should not be. I too hate him.

Whenever a man steals a lot of money, make no mistake, he will put it to "good" use, this includes hard drugs and prostitution. Probably fancy cars as well. People that don't care about such lifestyles wouldn't even bother with trying to become super wealthy anyway, specially by fraudulent means.

The amount involved is huge. I do not think this is the only "thing" that he bought.

CEO stands for "Corrupt Executive Officer"...

Or, in Mark's case, Cappuccino Erectiled Ogre, as his paid-fors referred to him as.

Madam Butterfly: Okay, girls, the Cappuccino Erectiled Ogre just called again today requesting two more girls. Becky and Sue, you're up next.
Becky: I can't go. I just started my period.
Sue: Me, too.
Madam Butterfly: Well, consider this your pay day. That's exactly what he requested. And make sure to take these pills. Mark desires a heavy flow all over his face.
