No every other price rise has started with an actual rise in interest from people.
Scale Google trends increase with percentage price moves then we will talk.

this price is nothing if you really believe in bitcoin's future. it's nothing more than a dot. it's not even started yet, just be patient.

Price rise is an advertisement in itself. The willy pump in 2013 is what even got me into Bitcoin in the first place.

Exactly this! We are far away from where we potentially could and should get! Bitcoin's potential is really enormous! This seems as a trend reversal. $300 broken and we continue moving upwards! Long live Bitcoin!

Let's wait and see where this goes alright? There's no reason for the price to be this high at the moment, adoption is too small and there are plenty of technical issues we have to overcome before bitcoin can really grow. I've heard it before i think, let's review...

Unless you are speculating and trading short term with huge amounts then I agree this is nothing but a blip. For the rest of us this is clearly a sign that we are moving forward, I mean it's obvious right, the value has been rising steadily all year!

On planet earth, years last 12 months and we're still below late December's or November's 2014 value. On which planet are you located?

Well google says that Ghana regional interest is most interested. What does this exactly mean? Most of these are checking only the bitcoin price. The next one is bitcoin mining which means that are interested in how to generate bitcoins.

Yes I too agree that bitcoin has started it's journey towards moon. The recent positive news and new exchanges has changed the entire story of bitcoin. Many people has expected the price hit by start of November but it hit 3 days before the end of October.

Alright I see what you mean, you don't have to be rude, what about from the beginning of the year then? January you know, like most humans in this earth. Extrapolate that to the end of the year. What I meant that value has been increasing for many months.

If it is the real deal, it would honestly not be good for a long term investor like myself. I've been loving the past 6+ or so months of stability on this low price. Every month that I looked back I said to myself "wow, I can't believe im able to buy at least 1 BTC each month" was such good news. If the price starts ending, I will not be able to buy 1 BTC anymore, and im more interested in racking up BTC than making dollars. I want to have as much BTC as possible before the sheep wake up and start realizing the true value of Bitcoin.

And if it was the real deal imagine how someone would feel reading your post in five or ten years' time. They'd be rolling around on the floor and wailing with envy. Be joyous that you might well be in the right place at the right time.

This. I'm not going to be mildly happy until we see $1000 again & even then it's nothing (if bitcoin succeeds long term).

You're not wrong, but jeez, what is this obsession from everyone on this forum about calling other people "sheep", "sheeple", "uneducated" et cetera. Just like the world economy isn't going to collapse tomorrow, not everyone who doesn't have BTC is a "sheep". It's like the gold bugs who are obsessive.

Everyone loves to feel that they're in on something special and know something that others don't. It doesn't occur to them that plenty of folks are perfectly content trundling along as they are. I wonder what criteria one needs to fulfill to stop being a 'sheeple'.

I think Bitcoin also attracts a lot of conspiracy loonies and antiestablishment paranoids, I'm not accusing anyone of course but I can see how some "NWO" fanatics are drawn to Bitcoin due to it's anonymous and decentralized concepts.
