Hi, I have a question about the alternative accounts. So when someone try to sell his account he will definitely receive a negative/neutral trust because this account has a new user so he may use this new account to scam people.
Wouldn't it better if everyone declare his alternative account and when he sells it, everyone will know the new buyer. For example: user1 a known hero member declared that he plan to buy his alt user11 which is a senior member to user2 which is a full member. In this case if user2 scam people with his user11 he will get both his account banned. I think that everyone could be safe like that (let's exclude selling to newbies +/- junior), the buyer can show his alt without worrying from receiving a neg trust, the seller will be protected and we know that he actually owns that account, and of course the rest of users will remain safe too from being scammed.
Dunno if this was discussed before, in that case please show me the url so I can get further informations about this whole story.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in
Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it
will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

No. The reason why people have alt accounts is to allow them to make statements that are not associated with their main account(s). Having "secret" alt accounts allows people to further engage in free speech.

Most people don't want their alt accounts known and likely aren't going to offer this information so it's futile and won't work.

I can understand this but i specifically talk about the alternative account that a user plan to sell it (which their post will have a neutral content.. normally) @sherona: ofc not all the declaration are honest but this could prevent a potential scam especially with the high ranked accounts. Can you develop please ''that's not true'' /i am talking about the posts i saw and for sure i missed many.

How would it protect a potential scam? If someone buys an account with the intention to scam they're certainly not going to tell anyone they bought it in the first place. Account sales will always happen and people will continue to sell them behind closed doors and without telling anyone about it so your suggestion isn't going to work or happen. And it's not true because most people don't bother leaving negative for known sold accounts anymore. Sometimes they might recieve a neutral if they're discovered but that's just another reason why accounts are sold as privately as possible.

Since no one mentioned: "scams are not moderated" and "scamming is not a ban reason". "caveat emptor".

Users tend to trust for example legendary, so if this account has a new user this will lead to think twice before investing with him. I can see that my suggestion will not happen or will remain limited... Just trying to help...
