That's true, but dollar has come a long way. Bitcoin has crossed a short period, to come next to dollar it takes time. Even though it can't overcome dollar surely bitcoin will be widely used equal to dollar.

i believe this year more than 1% will increase from 10%,some company and service start accept bitcoin,the newest is valve,start accept bitcoin fro steam.

Actually there should be no competition with the two currencies...they have different paths but with the same purpose, bitcoin is decentralized while dollar is the reverse of it...

Yes it is definitely more popular than the dollar because the dollar bitcoin already decades ago. While bitcoin I think still new. Maybe someday I'll be sure bitcoin popular than the dollar if more people are adopting.
